Wasn't sure where to ask these two questions, so I started this.

Could someone explain the significance of the following to me? [BLACKOUT]At the end in Canada Bruce got a letter from his dad, Betty's necklace, ... So had to give this to his dad in order to get a temporary loan and once he paid it back David sent it back to Bruce so that he could mail it back to Betty???[/BLACKOUT]

My following question can probably be answered by the deleted scenes but what happened to [BLACKOUT]Samson after the pizzeria scene? Is this one of the plotholes that the critics didn't elaborate on?
I mean he just sees his girlfriend sort of freak out and drive after her old flame who has a lot of rumours about him and has been in hiatus for a long while, she brings him to their home, but you never see him again until the campus scene I think...[/BLACKOUT]

And where do you think that scene from the promos would fit, the one on one with Samson and Banner. 20 minutes of the 70 minutes must surround this because they couldn't just throw that into the mix without messing the pace of the movie.

Because he just got his ass beat by the Hulk and it's hard to get back up from that.

Why was Mr. Blue smiling when he was hit by Abomination and his head was getting bigger?

Maybe he could feel himself getting smarter and he liked it.

If someone grabbed a piece of my elbow bone, and stabbed me in the chest with it, i'd say it'd be a pretty good time to just stand down, if you know what I mean :cwink:

I mean unlike the Hulk, behind that Abomination, Blonksy is still pretty much in control. I particulary like when Hulk was choking him, you can look into Abomination's eyes and he actually looks pretty freaked out that Hulk was going to kill him.

When it was all said and done, he was beat and he knew it. That is why he no longer continued.

really? man.. i need to watch it again.

The way I see it is this; the man is a career scientist, knowledge is his drive, science is his life.

As soon as the blood hit his head he could feel his mind expanding beyond anything a human has ever known, old mysteries were being unlocked and he could feel the start of supreme intelligence.

Is Tim Blake Nelson signed on for sequels?

I'm pretty positive he is signed on for two more, which is great, I thought he played the scientist part beautifully and I'm sure he won't disappoint as his alter ego.

The package is not from Bruce's father, it is from Betty. The "David B" on the address is who the package is to, not from...Bruce Banner is using the name David as an alias. Bruce's father Brian Banner was renamed David in Ang Lee's Hulk in a similar homage to the TV show.

So, it is from Betty, I guess to show that everything turned out OK with her. I'm not sure why she would send Bruce her last keepsake from (presumably) her mother. Maybe it will turn up in a sequel.

I wasn't kidding about the "becoming The Leader" comment.

Thanks for thinking me so daft as to not realize what this is leading too.

I was just trying to explore what he might be feeling, and it makes sense to me.

Actually, Bruce (A.K.A. David) bought back Betty's mother necklace from the guy she sold it so they could run away. Then, he sends back to her.

Oh thanks for clearing that up :o, I was under the impression he was going to mail something right back to her, pretty risky.

About Samsom, his participation on the movie was heavilly cut. He is living with Betty, and, after she finds Bruce on the road, they go back to Betty and Samsom's house. There, Bruce talks Betty about Mr. Blue/Samuel Sterns. Samson wakes up and finds Bruce on the living room. They talk and Samson makes a bad judgment, thinking that Bruce abused of Betty. So, he sabotage Betty's car batery and tell Gen. Ross where would Banner be, leading to the fight on the campus.

I heard this question was supposed to be answered already here, but I don't see it anywhere.

What do you think Ross did with the Abomination? (Since Abom was still breathing).

Tony Stark created the Vault, a supervillain prision where Abomination was held.

Well yes, I read that in the movie's novelization, but they never mentioned it in the movie itself. I'm guessing that's another deleted scene?

Actually, Bruce put's the necklace into an envelope adressed to Betty. My guess is that he's somehow managed to aquire it back from wherever they pawned it to earlier in the film and he's sending it back to her.
