I was tempted to vote Banana, but my detest for the sellout that Spidey has become made me vote no

How are they gonna fix this tho?

Civil War was all a dream??

Ben Reilly will rise from the grave and make it look like Peter was never Spidey in the first place. Then Ben Reilly will stop being Spider-Man and let Peter do his thing, while he settles down with Gwen's child Sarah.

I'm just kidding, don't kill me.

y'know what the worst? I can actually see them coming up with some s#!t like that... :(

I see nothing good ever coming from this, except future retcons.

No, the "worst" is the fact that it is probably a million times better than what we'll end up getting from Marvel to fix this crap-fest.

it'll probably be Wanda's return to "glory"... :(

You know what? I think it's possible for an unmasking story to be a great, awe inspiring, uplifting story for spidey.

BUT HELL NO!!!

This team has repeatedly bum fecked spidey, over and over. I gave the Other a chance, as well as this avengers thing a chance, but they've handled all of this character, my favorite comic character of all time, and his supporting cast (Gwen, duh) with no respect for his stories or personality, and with no maturity or intelligence.

It might be capable o being done right, but not by these butt for brains.

Feck off Joey.

Yes. Im very interested in seeing where they take this storyline, provided it doesnt last more than, say, the end of this year or so.

At some point, i'd like the status quo returned to where it was (or better), but for right now, GO FOR IT!

I dont support the unmasking at all. Its bull sh1t and as captivated said, its a slap in the face of great stories where spidey's ID was in jeoprody.

Cap, I pretty much agree with you, although I wish there had been a 'conditional yes' vote. My heart sank to the floor when I saw Pete take that maks off ... but then I started to get excited. I literally can not wait to see what happens next and how Spidey (as I know he eventually will) gets out of this mess.

In the meantime, I just hope it's handled well. This is too huge an event to screw it up.

I think its fair to say that spidey unmasked will of course provoke intrigue but imo the writers of today dont have what it takes to handle these stupid ideas and suggestions that Quesada keeps farting out. This is history repeating itself on this level of, shocking scale. Its going to be a fat disaster.

Thanks. My reaction was the same as yours.

my feelings exactly.

I HATE it. Either way, whatever happens it will make me mad.

1. I don't like the idea of a Peter Parker/Spider-Man with no secret identity, and now a public superhero persona like the Fantastic Four. That just SUCKS.

2. If they fix it by pushing some reset button that fixes everything, it will make it even worse, because the whole thing was a cheat to begin with.

This is one of the worst things to ever happen in the Spider-Man mythos. Scratch that, this IS the worst thing. :down

Anybody with your name (Ben Reilly) is already a idiot in my book.
Why, because I like a certain character?

Probably, alot of people hate Ben but I'm a supporter. Ben Reilly was cooler than all this **** they got in Spider-man now.
