I also like Vaughn, and if I were in charge of Marvel Studio I'd ask him to shoot other Marvel superhero movies, if he's not tied with future FC sequels.
I want Vaughn to stay right where he is. I don't want another Fox vs. Singer for the next X-Men film. Keep everything together this time, Fox.
I will smile so hard that my friends will think I'm on drugs.I'm sorry, but you're losing this battle.
A studio isn't some constant singular entity, either...and I don't think any of us truly are experts in how much these studios know about their properties and it may not even matter in a lot of cases.
I'm willing to change subjects on the condition of "agreeing to disagree".t:
In my opinion Marvel Studios just likes to play it safe. All there movies carry the same formula and have the same light-hearted tone.
I'd like him for Cap 2. I don't expect Johnston to be back since Cap 2 seems like it'll be a modern day movie and Johnston excels at period pieces. Vaughn on Captain America in the modern day in Cap 2 is something I'd love.
Johnston'd be good if they do a "Untold Tales of Cap in WWII" kinda movie in the future. But I don't think I'd want him on a modern Cap movie.
I think I read that Marvel had offered Thor to Vaughn, but he backed out of it. Would've been interesting to see his take on the Norse god, though, but I really like Branagh's direction.
I'm done with it.That's what you think..

I'm done with it.![]()
Re: the previous X-men films: But theyre not particularly good; a recent revisit to X2 left me actually stunned at how bad the film is. There are a couple of strong sequences, but the movie in general feels half formed, cheap and poorly put together.
