Thanks for the link!

Basically, he's calling Kate a lazy irresponsible liar, right? Because he's saying she was told to read all the comics, but she says she hasn't read any. And she justified that by saying she was told not to do so.

There's more than a mistranslation going on when you recall she says she didn't read any comic books (and that detail seems indisputable). One of the two isn't being completely honest.

Right?

Its feeling like fox saw the reactions to what Kinberg was saying before & told him to change things up at the last minute & now hes trying to fool fans

If I were here, I'd be having my agent figure out a way to drop out of her contract. This is pretty sleaze ball to rub her reputation in the dirt because of something she said. She said she wanted to read the comics, but was told not to. Why would she lie about that, unless she was lazy and irresponsible. She's worked with some pretty big directors in Ang Lee, and others, and was very successful on House of Cards. She is not known as a trouble making actress ala Katherine Heigl.

This whole thing is just becoming more ridiculous by the minute.

What is weird is that in one interview she says that she hasn't read any of the comic books, and then in an earlier interview back in April she said that she did read a few for the role. I don't think the actors know what the hell they are talking about at this point.

Ok, now that sounds positive. I really would like to see a great movie.

I think one of the reasons they're not going to show anything for SDCC is because Fox is hedging their bets and waiting to see how Guardians turns out. The extremely positive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes is certainly an indicator that it will be well received.

If this is the case, I worry for the production in the sense they may make changes that skew the film into too many different directions after supposedly a couple of months of filming has passed.

Maybe Mara is channeling 60's Sue - who tended to be an insecure victim rather than strong female character.

i've been following a guy on twitter for a few days now and apparently he's been on the set. he tweeted that the movie is going to blow people away and that bell is killing it as grimm. he also has a selfie with jordan and trank.

@nathanedmondson .@comicbookguy_uk Based on what I've seen, you're in for a treat. It's in good hands.

Kinberg is just as bad as Singer with the xfilms. I may be wrong but didn't he work on the F4 and FF2 with Alba?

No...Frost/France were on the first script. Frost/Payne on the second script.

Had they stuck with the France script, and just scrapped Doom with hooves, it could have been a really good movie. Unfortunately they scrapped that script and Frost pretty much wrote the second script. Payne was the main writer on the Silver Surfer script.

Lolwat.Singer is bad?!?Btw Kinberg only worked on X3,FC and DOFP. He only did some rewrites on FF1,mostly about Doom.

The user just bashes everything fox does. Both X-Men and FF.

Yeah Kinberg polished script for first FF but the WGA didn't credit him for theatical release only longer version which came on DVD In 2007.He had
nothing to do with second FF film.

Yeah he wrote the god awful X-Men the Last stand but he also produced First
Cass and both polished and did on set rewrites and that film has a 87% on RT from both critics and audence and wrote and produced DOFP which with Critcs has same number as the avengers and from audences has more likes than the avengers.

Since Rothman stop micromanaging or was gone entirely Kinberg's fox marvel films have turned out very well.

All of the Bryan Singer directed or produced X-Men film has at least a 82
% at RT

Well i would but that's a matter of oporion.

At least everyone will now admit thing will be CGI In this film.Perhapes a reason
why Fox Is holding off showing footage.

Agreed. At best, its a so so film but not that bad. Plus The Wolverine and Days of Future Past acknowledging it makes it better.

Hopefully Kinberg's goodwill from Dofp will help this film. Though Iwish Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman were heavily involved with this film instead of Kingsman.

We'll have to wait and see I guess, for now I hope that Thing's bust is real 'cause I really like it.

Thing looks good. Honestly, I like the actors and I like the director, so despite all the changes, right now I'm kinda optimistic about this. I hope this movie ends up being great.

I have just watched Apes, and I can say with 100% certainty that Toby Kebbell's Dr. Doom will be the best thing about this movie. Well, maybe not if they write him wrong (again), but at least the casting is spot on.
