For me it's because it's damn early. Some others have released Logos and some production pics but Fox has never been one to advertise the production stuff, they market the movie from about 6 months to release onwards.

But don't you want to see more? Aren't you excited? Wouldn't you love to see some costumes? Wouldn't you like to hear some comments from Trank that illustrate his vision and enthusiasm?

By this time in the production of the first FF film, we had all kinds of things. Tim Story was talking about how excited he was and how he intended to portray the FF. We were getting extensive comments from the cast. We had seen official photos of them in their uniforms. We had seen them filming some different scenes (including the one where Ben crinkles up the Porshe). There was a lot of buzz and excitement and interest from the studio and the fans.

Me and 50 or so other fans were enjoying the process and Fox played it right. There were doubters and we had lengthy discussions about 'organic armor Doom' and the Thing's lack of a brow, but we had a lot to talk about and the conversations were mostly positive.

Compared to that, this whole experience is like the Twilight Zone. The studio is acting like they couldn't give (to use Roach's colorful phrase) a flying monkey poo-poo about this film. And even those who proclaim their excitement on here don't act like they're excited in the least.

When I say: "Let's have something on this FF film." Nobody backs me up by saying: "Yeah, I'm excited about this film and I want to see and hear more."

Instead, they tell me I'm crazy for believing my lying eyes about what other films do. Nobody else seems to give a damn.

How can this film possibly do well when its most active and vocal supporters don't even want to see more than the nothing we're getting?

Yes I would but I'm not chomping at the but just yet. As time gets closer I probably will but for now it's a case of not expecting them yet so I don't view them as being overdue.

I assume that it'll be somewhat like ASM2 where the first official images and costume look happened just after the set photos of the costume leaked. Well be seeing Costumes soon-ish and those will leak and possibly be followed by an official image

Wel for me personally I tried talking about costumes previously, asking what people wanted, what colours, styles ect... Tried discussing what possibilities there are for the story, the characterisation and so forth And all I got was "I want the film to not be made and Marvel to get the rights back and blah blah blah" so I stopped bothering trying to talk about the content of the movie as it always went back to that.

I'm waiting patiently for stuff to come to talk about and am hoping that when that time comes we can talk about it positively bit at the moment there isn't a lot to talk about as a lot is unknown to us.

I'm not "positive" - but it appears that the most active and vocal supporters are primarily fans of the X-Men franchise, and are advocating for Trank's unique take on Marvel's First Family as a show of solidarity with FOX's other, more popular licensed Marvel franchise.

Didn't a bunch of the actors already say Age of Ultron will be "much darker" than the last film? LOL. It's just been the buzz word for these movies since their inception.

Yeah it's just non sense words for us to eat up and dissect. Basically it's like interviewing a sports figure who says I'm gonna give an"110%", "we gotta come together as team", and " we dug deep". They aren't really answering just preprogrammed key phrases by media department.

This above is on a $120 Million budget. I was shocked as the effects are outstanding, made me think If they can do that then i see no reason to be concerned with the link between CGI and Budget for this movie. Hope they get as skilled effects people involved. Good thing too that Jamie Bell as a history of Mo-Cap.

They're not. IIRC, Trank's using some new tech that can do cheap (though allegedly good) effects from some smaller group. They're not using a top tier effects team. That's typically known early in the process.

Apparently FF is supposed to be done with new cloud based tools. The team that designed the tools have done notable things, so hopefully the tools are good. As far as I know we haven't seen any big push for the effects in early promotion. Weta (RotPotA) doesn't appear to be involved.

We at least need the 1st one. Outside of Chiklis and Evans, the last cast had zero chemistry. Thankfully they all seemed to screen test with one another this time...

The three most important ones for me on that list are Production values, bigger and better Thing, genuine sense of threat and real Doom.

I think and hope we'll get a bigger and better Thing and genuine sense of threat (it would be hard to do worse with either of those two).

But I have concerns with production values and real Doom. One concern I have with production values is they will be good enough to tell the story, but the story won't be ambitious in scale and scope.

It certainly looks visually impressive, and even the first one had some impressive fully CGI characters. Yet I've heard some people say that the Hulk had limited screen-time in the Avengers because it would have killed the budget to have him on screen longer. I don't understand why is seems to be so much more expensive for a character like The Hulk than it seems to be for CGI apes.

There are probably technical restrictions that I just don't understand.

The question Is how does Josh Trank do with Simon Kinberg.Those who saw earlier verison of DOFP say it's obvious SInger work some magic on script.But,then again Kinberg was script doctor for First Class and some around here not me though thought that was best X-Men film PreDOFP.

Hutch Parker who produced the Wolverine and DOFP Is producing FF,and he was
able to help get the Wolverine made for 117 Million according to james Mangold.

If Trank,who DIsney has tapped to direct second star wars spinoff,can work
with Kinberg like Singer did this film could work.Trank Is in demand director and has good cast.

If this film Is made for 100 million if it can get domesticly around what first FF did In 2005 and do the same overseas that will be considered a hit.

The GA Is going to care this Is based on Ultimate FF.ASM 2 problems weren't because it's based on ultimate SPider-man it was more because of the writing and mixed reaction to the villians.

Actually I feel like Hulk had a lot of screen time in Avengers. In fact, there are several shots where I feel like they could have gotten away with using Banner/Rufallo but they used Hulk instead (for example the scene at the end where all 6 Avengers corner Loki in Stark tower).

Yeah I remember watching a behind the scenes vid for Monsters Inc with one of the animator a saying how much harder and costly it is to to furry or hairy CGI characters.
