*Sigh*,Look we can do this till the cows come home,but in reality this whole argument is pointless.We are arguing over what's condescending,and about a movie that we know nothing about.So essentially we are arguing about nothing.

In the interest of fairness though what's your biggest gripe about this movie?I wanna know seriously.

All of it. Cast, crew, concept behind it, literally everything we've seen and heard about it.

The Cast and Crew are pretty much the only thing holding me on.I love all the people involved in all the other things that they have worked on.I'm just slightly worried about Miles Teller.I guess we are just going to have to agree to disagree.

Really?that all sounds terrible.Now you guys are getting me worried.That could be a reason as to why we haven't gotten a trailer or anything.In all honesty we should've had atleast something for a movie that comes out in 2015.

If Trank did have a breakdown then I am truly worried.I hope he didn't,but if he did that sounds terrible.

Sometimes I feel like Homer in "Lisa the Vegetarian" when Homer's chasing the pig saying "It's still good".I dunno.It may seem like a false positive.I just can't give up on this movie yet.My last hope is the trailer.If the trailers bad I'm out,but for now I'm not out yet.

I normally try to stay off this thread because I do think it's good for people to have a place to discuss the things they like.

But yeah, the only 'news' over the past few months has been various reports from various sources that something very unpleasant happened between Trank and Fox, and it's likely he's no longer directing the film.

There are so many rumors on these forums and 99.9% percent of them turn out to be false. Unless someone can show me a credible source it goes through one ear and out the other.

That's my feelings as well. These rumors may be true, but I've yet to read any of these rumors through a major entertainment website or movie website.

Again, not saying they're false; but I'd like to read about these rumors in other outlets besides an internet forum.

Also Devin Faraci, an industry insider who has been very optimistic about this production, tweeted something about two weeks ago saying he's heard some troubling things.

Drew McWeeny and El Mayimbe have also alluded to the controversy. It also leads credence to Bleeding Cool's piece from March which they have been unusually steadfast about, and they called the cancellation of the comic.

Agreed. I'd go to say 50% of them have been true. I remember Jordan being cast was a rumor as well as there won't be any costumes but those have turned out to be facts. I don't know why these studios go out of their way to deny things, knowing full well when the movie comes out, WOM will spread about it. I remember Story saying that Galactus will be shown in his full glory on the screen and I've seen that movie numerous times and despite people "seeing" Galactus in that cloud(I have not), you shouldn't have to look that hard to find him. It was a lie from the start. With that being said, I'd take Story's F4 any day of the week over this crap coming out now.

Hopefully an announcement that it has been scrapped and Trank fired as director.

Well while it is scheduled for a August release it was filmed with a release date of June and the date change only made after filming had finished. So there should be no reason that they have plenty of things ready for release. If the film was made with a June release planned and there is no official reason for production being delayed (I'm sure Teller even said that the production was on schedule) then it should still be ready for June even if it won't be released then. The release date was moved back to fill the empty Assassin's Creed slot if I remember so it was apparently not due to any problem with the FF production. And studios don't waste money on keeping productions going longer than they need to.

So really when it comes to Fox releasing info we should keep thinking of it as a June release rather than an August one.
