I think that for the host they should get another comedian to do it.

Get Daniel Tosh to do it. It would be the most offensive Oscar show in history.

I love Tosh, but he will never be allowed to do it. Knowing the Academy, they will probably think the best way to appeal to younger crowds without pissing off the Hollywood establishment is to hire Dane Cook.

That would be horrible. Great thing is, is that Cook hasn't done **** lately. I think his 15 minutes of fame are up.

He and Anne Hathway together would have been so much better than Franco just standing there looking like he was about to puke. That song she did was my favorite part of the show last night.

Hugh was offered the hosting gig this year, he turned it down because he's in training for Wolverine (he was offered the show last year too). According to an interview he did in Australia back in December, there's a good chance he's doing the show next year.

I saw him on Access Hollywood earlier. He said he definitely didn't bail on her, she just wanted an excuse to sing that song from Les Miz.

I honestly think Hathaway and Jackman would be a great hosting combo. And that she could also do well with RDJ. It was just the combo of her and Franco that bombed, because of A.) His lack of enthusiasm, and B.) Her overcompensating for him. If she had a co-host who pulled his own weight, I have a feeling she'd come across far less overbearing. Her musical moment with Jackman when HE hosted was one of the highlights of the show that year, imo.

That said...Conan, Conan, Conan!
