Thing with that is that it's not just two tags instead of one or a different design-- it's a different country. Origins has US tags while the X1-2 tag is Canadian. Irks me.

Came across this elsewhere. Watch the end for the Origins DVD.

Ah that's Tony Swatton! Awesome guy. He made the Infinity Gauntlet and [BLACKOUT]Twilight Sword[/BLACKOUT] for the Thor movies

Sweet. Didn't know that. Though I've seen some of his previous videos. He did He-man's Power Sword (though I wasn't a fan of the particular design he used). Not sure if his name 'Man-at-arms' is meant to reference the He-man character or not, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Been trying to find the Japanese arc but not sure what the cover looks like...Im just curious if its worth reading the story arc before the movie.

No no. He's an armorer. Literally Man-at-arms. He runs Sword and Stone. Awesome guys there.

Still haven't seen any Wolvie spots on TV put apparently the critics ones are playing:

^This collects the main 4-issue story as well as the two-issue Uncanny X-Men continuation. It's really the first story to give him true depth, exploring his inner conflict and the idea of him being a ronin, so it's definitely a good read.

Hah as if. I've only give 7 quotes in the past two years and 6 have been used in TV spots or posters so not a bad record.

Yeah, I expected that would have been more likely.

I think you can also get it online at places like Comixology if I'm not mistaken.

That's pretty cool.

I just another TV spot during The Daily Show, but it's still using that same Access Hollywood quote ("It's the Wolverine movie you've been waiting for!").

Yukio says "Interesting" in the TV spot I just saw during the Daily Show. Didn't catch that before.

That's a good quote. They need to run that as often as possible. The other one I gave that they might use for something else is "The best superhero movie of the year"

@Poni-- I hate being annoying and asking questions twice, but it's really bugging me-- do the Japanese characters speak Japanese amongst each other?

The 'Ronin' featurette suggests otherwise, but I'm hoping it's sort of exlcusive to that clip rather than the actual film.

Very cool.

How does that work if you don't mind me asking? Have you already written your review for the studio or what?

Ah thanks for the advice...i'll keep it in mind but im kinda broke at the moment so I'll have to wait then. or not bother at all. :( Just see the film anyway.

Avatar deserves to be forgotten hehe. But I think the standard runtime for comic book movies should be around 2 hours.

Yup!

But with comic-book movies with a large scale like X3, it should be at least 2 hours /30 mins to 3 hours.

You don't need to submit your reviews to the studios. After a screening you send them your initial thoughts and if they want to they'll ask for a pull quote from the review. Sometimes they'll ask for the full review. You're not obligated to give one if you don't want to. Most times you may have a mildly positive reaction to a movie (like for me an Pacific Rim) but when they asked for a quote I declined.

Not every comic book movie needs to be over 2 hours. People talk about super hero fatigue, and I think sitting in a theater for 2 and half hours 4 times a summer contributes largely to that.

Seriously, big ensemble superhero movies like the X-films ought to be relatively long (at least 140 mins, maybe), otherwise several characters are bound to get the short end of the stick, coupled with an underdeveloped storyline.

Solo movies function differently, so they don't necessarily have to be that long-- but a good 2+ hour runtime is often necessary to faithfully represent decades of character development.
