Comics The SUPERIOR Spider-Man - Part 2

Well... this is what an all nighter does to you.

I went and caved and read the spoilers! I AM ANGRY WITH MYSELF!

I peeped. Surprising development to say the least. I mean, what we assumed would happen does happen but there's a major detail that was not affected that should make all the naysayers happy.

I can't wait to read it in full. There's something there that I want to pay closer attention to that is of major interest to me. It could be something, it could be nothing but I thought about it a little while ago...

Could someone tell us about those spoilers please?

Here's the key stuff what I saw last night

NO B.S. - real spoilers here:

Liz Allen had a Green Goblin mask and told Normie "Everything Mommy does, she does it for him." She was not seen as the Goblin per say but it heavily implies she's the one.

Ghost Peter reveals himself to Otto in order to push him to save that little girl from Superior 8 that is being held hostage by the Goblin's people. Otto does and admits Peter was a "Superior" Spider-Man and goes back into the Mindscape using his machine, wipes all traces of Otto and paves the way for Peter to reclaim ALL of his memories. Before he disappears from existence, Otto makes Peter promise to save Anna Maria who is still missing. Peter now in full control then goes into a storage closet, puts on the classic red and blues and says "My Turn".

Thank you! Can't wait to read that. It sounds really....
amazing

I like the ending, [BLACKOUT]I wasn't expecting Peter to come back this issue, I always thought that Ock would redeem himself by defeating Gobby, then give Peter control.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]So... is Ock gone for good? What is that "thing" they are talking about in the solicitations for TASM #2? Personally, I think it's Morlun's return.[/BLACKOUT]

No one is ever gone for good. We may get a story years from now where Otto's soul molecule is discovered accidentally by Reed Richards or someone doing a routine scan on Peter.

Remember, the body is still unaccounted for....

Gaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh.... must. not. look. at. spoiler. tags... make it stop... sobs...

#30... so darn good. First you go "WOO!" then you get really sad, then you go "WOO!" again.

What happens that will make Peter lose all of his memories?
The Avengers might run a test on him and that's how it happens....

Slott really pulled through on #30. What a great issue. And that last panel. Ooooh, tingles. Can't wait for #31.

What if Anna Maria
is the real goblin? Although I really like that twist about Liz Allan possibly being the Goblin

Why do I get the feeling that [BLACKOUT]Otto has his memories on a back-up drive?[/BLACKOUT]

Yeah, I really enjoyed this one as well. Very nice to see Ron Frenz & Sal Buscema again, brought a nice air of authenticity to this long-awaited Ock/Goblin tale. From what is shown, parts are taking place after Invasion of The Spider Slayers, during Maximum Carnage, and the ending places itself right before Spider-Man Unlimited #3. Another fine deed for Norman...
