Comics The SUPERIOR Spider-Man - Part 2

I avoided the spoilers and just read the book... I felt like a little kid again reading some magic...

:yay:

Read issue #30. My god this book is amazing! I'm happy Peter is back but man I'm gonna miss superior, it's been such a fun ride.

It was an amazing issue. So emotional. I like how Otto ended up a real hero in his own way, unlike what some people predicted, telling us Otto was fooling everyone and was still a bad guy.

I was really moved by this issue.

so am I reading this right, Amazing 1 will be out before Superior 31?

Where are you reading that? Superior 31 comes out April 16th.

Amazing #1 comes out the last Wednesday in April.

Aloha,
Doc Ock is STILL a bad guy. How do you overlook him almost destroying the world( Ends of the Earth),which also killed people and stealing another persons identity(Peter Parker) as heroic?:huh:Please go back and read ALL of Ends of the Earth. Doc had a conscious plan to DESTROY THE EARTH!He was not going to save the world as he presented to everyone. That right there shows he was and is a criminal. Identity theft is a CRIME! And that's just your name. This man stole another mans life. Please explain to me where HERO comes into the picture?
As I wrote in the very beginning of Superior-Doc Ock like Kraven coveted Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Regardless of their personal sense of self importance for all their strength and intellect THEY COULD NOT BEAT-Spider-Man. So they both tried to actually BE Spider-Man.Both failed miserably.

Spidey rules with true heroism

I'm not talking about Otto Octavius as Octopus, nor am I talking about end of days. I'm talking about Superior Spider-man.

Didn't you read Superior? Him
erasing himself to let Peter save the day was not only a redemption for Otto, it was also the most heroic thing he did.

Regardless, during his time as Spock, he really tried to do the right thing. Wether or not he succeeded is another question, but he wasn't trying to do evil things, unlike what you predicted.

I thought the most heroic thing he did was save that little girl (the first time).

That's what I get for reading it fast. In the April 9 diamond notes, they have listed Amazing Spiderman #1 but it's the 75th anniversary reprint of the original ASM1.

There's no way it's the 75th Anni of Amazing.
Bond is at 52? years and that came out the same year as Amazing Fantasy 15!

Aloha,
I would say that it was admission on his part that he could never be the man nor the hero that Peter Parker was/is.Everything about him being Superior Spider-Man was based upon a criminal act. That he couldn't carry the weight of being Spider-Man and relented to his inferior status is not heroic. That he saved a girl as part of his criminal actions of stealing another persons identity does not reach the level of heroism. Stealing a car and swerving to miss hitting people in the street doesn't negate the fact that you are a car thief!

Spidey rules with true heroism in the person of Peter Parker

It's the 75th anniversary of Marvel Comics #1, featuring the original Human Torch and Namor the Sub-Mariner, which came out in 1939.

:yay:

Hey guys! I just started reading some Age of Ultron recently and I noticed Peter Parker wasn´t actually Spider-man. Otto Octavius/The Superior Spider-man was.

I don´t have any problems with Otto being Spider-man but what´s the twist? What´s the catch? Is Otto truly, in every aspect, superior to Spidey/Parker?

Sure he has the mind of someone more experienced, he can do things differently this time, get them right. But Parker is still the better Spider-man in some aspect, correct?
I don´t read the Spider-man comics but I´d like to know what´s going on. Maybe someone here can help me out :)

So apparently the final issue has leaked. I think I might have accidentally read who the Goblin King is... :o
