the first one is terrible... the grey filter has destroyed any hope of color
The second one seems too cartonish and doesn't fit with the face at all and the surroundings. The surroundings made the suit look like that.

Those colors are not my cup of tea. I'm with the other one, seems more grounded. that doesn't mean that I don't want brighter colors :)

I don't disagree with you. I don't think they know right now and I don't know if finding out will be a priority for them.
That was my point :D

Knowledge is power. Knowing his identity would absolutely matter, under any and all circumstances.
Correct. But they need to see all the circumstances and first of all, have it :oldrazz:

Agreed. I like them so far on Arrow. I'd be interested in seeing how they'd be interpreted under Snyder.
Agreed. It would be interesting and it will connect other characters thanks to this organization. Suicide Squad and all :D

what i would like to see for the sequel...

That's more or less what the suit really looks like if they ditched the awful dark fliter.

Then I guess we don't disagree with each other after all! :woot:

Naturally.

And it could potentially open the door for Project CADMUS...:hubba

Yeah it's really just that damn filter in parts of the movie. It just totally dulls the suits colors but in other scenes it looks fine. Either make a second brighter suit to compensate or lose it. I'd say just lose it.

Also this came up in an article on another website about what's wrong with all these revised suits. How they try to compensate for ditching the red shorts.

The article says they are failing but I say, we aren't going to stop noticing. We are used to seeing them, them not being there isn't going to change. It simply can't. But it's not like missing an arm but more like a haircut.

you know if theres one thing good about the Batsuit looking so monochrome is that it could force Zack to go the opposite direction with the filtering he uses for film. i know he was trying to use the filters to help convey his storytelling for MOS but just looking at the Supersuit in the movie and then seeing pictures of it when its on display in RL, im like--'Geez the suit looks so much more vibrant-- when are we gonna see THIS in a movie?'

edit: and Fanboiii read my mind lol

Pretty much.

What the suit actually looks like (color wise):

And of course, the colors look far lighter in bright, direct lighting.

So there's a supposedly new set pic showing the new Batman Vs. Superman suit on Reddit.
I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post it here, not really up to date with the set pic policy around here anymore.

I could'nt find any old MOS set pics that match so it could be real, although I figured if it's not in this thread yet, it's probably not.

Let me know if I'm allowed to post it here, or one of you does it.
It's on the front page of /r/movies.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not saying it is legit, just asking if it is just an old MOS pic that's been fiddled a bit with.

If you are referring to this:

It's fake. And it has been posted in these threads before.

that's one of my old manips...

It's funny once you post something on the internet, it truly takes on a life of its own. I'd definitely take some pride in your manip being mistaken for the new suit :oldrazz:

It made sense in that scene though, the would have been filled with dust and smoke due to the amount of destruction.

And a damn good one, too! Makes the suit more decent in my eyes

A simple change, but takes some of the "alien"ness out of it, which I hope they try to do just a bit.

I wish we would have got a quick scene in MOS of Superman, in the suit, without the cape. Because from what I have seen of MOS set pics the suit looks awesome even without the cape.

^ I kinda wish that too. It does seem to look good capeless. I've always thought it would be neat if superman took it off after a rescue or whatever when he came inside to visit Lois somewhere. Sort of like taking off his coat to get more comfortable.

I try to avoid looking at the New 52 designs.

I would be pretty satisfied if the MOS costume replaced the New 52 design. Of course, there's no replacing the classic, but the MOS suit is probably the only Superman costume I've seen to remove the trunks without botching the whole suit.

It looks damn good, to boot. Just needs more colour.

Not sure if legit. Posted on Facebook. Gentleman claiming this photo has been posted at the filming site:

If this is oficial, it pretty much confirms that the suit is nanotech as the liquid metal kryptonian as we saw it on the ship's key.

How does it pretty much confirm that?

Don't think that is a representation of the suit tweaks for BvS... might be a statue thing as mentioned by others, but the shield sizing alone goes in the opposite direction of its actual adjustment.

How does it pretty much confirm that?
The texture seems like is changing as adapting and behaving like the liquid metal we saw. check the texture looks like if it was modifying to then look the chainmail. But hey its not official yet.
