yep...Zack taking his picture. wish it was in color or could see the screen test !

They said that if they could believe Henry in that suit, they knew they had their Superman.

I'm one of those guys who appreciates at least some aspects of the new when it comes to suits of my favorite superheroes (be it Batman, Spidey or Supes), they rarely bother me lately since designers already learned from past mistakes and certain standards need to exist from the get-go, I appreciate the evolution; and they just made this one infinitely cooler by putting kryptonian letters inside the S.
I love that Alfred quote in your sig!

you must be joking........fcol
Not that I don't agree that Mr. Cavill had an awesome transformation, but I have to side-eye at them using a picture of him still in his teens versus one taken nearly a decade later for their motivational graphic. Like, really?

I think that Routh/Cavill suit was just a test outfit for auditions. The McG movie had that prototype that I feel I shouldn't like, but can't help but. At least from a "what if" perspective, it looks so pretty. :DV:

Everytime I see the Burton/Cage suit, the more I like it. It has an action superhero look from one, while the other has a (then) modern feel, both that balance what came before with what would've been comign after. Can't wait for the doc to get released

I just noticed something or someone in the first image that I posted. Is that George Lucas in the background? LOLOL.

The Cage and McG suits look beautiful, much better than the Routh's SR suit. I just wondered if these were supposed to be armoured or just look armoured?

The McG suit is just the same concepts and construction behind Schumacher's Batsuits applied to Superman. If it had happened, we would have hated it.

Suit aside, Cavill actually looks like he's not a corpse when the colours are normally saturated. I wish they hadnt used any. Like... desaturate the suit all you like, but desaturating everything? :loco:
It's a Superman movie, not the Crow.

I dont know if i'm more disgusted by the Burton suit, or Nick Cage and his receding hairline playing superman.

He looks like the perfect Superman to team up with Schumacher's Batman. All that's missing from that suit are the nipples.

Way too shiny. :yay:

Yeah, who would be stupid enough to cast a Superman with a receding hairline? lol. Wait a minute...

Yeah, Cage's bad casting has nothing to do with his natural hair (but that wig is awful). It has a lot more to do with the fact that he doesn't have any of the "Superman" features that we were accustomed to then and now.

Fans would really freak out if WB/DC put Henry in Superman's Post-Convergence look in a future DCCU film.

Superman: "I think we should find and kill the artist who dressed us like this."

Wonder Woman: "Agreed."

"Let's visit Michael Wilkinson and Larry Fong. They'll make us look good!"
