Now look at the new image; there's a new gold trimming at the top of the boots.
They may have been shown in other pictures that I may have missed, but the gold trim is a definite addition from MoS.

There is no gold trim. Look at any of the countless close-up shots of the suit on display at Comic-Con or all of the set photos. The slight shimmer along the top edges of the boots in the new Empire shot is just lighting. See below:

Yes, because you are wrong unless there is some tiny gold Kryptonian script that I can't see between the classic double-edging, which is clearly red.

Kind of just looks like reflective light to me, its a little pink. Regardless, theres something there that wasn't on the MOS boots.
A gold trim WOULD look great, though.

They've added a second "M" of edging at the top of the boots, which is new and an homage to how Curt Swan drew the boots, but the pinkness is totally normal. It's an issue with the sheen and particular shade of red chosen in MOS and BVS that has been seen plenty of times before in photos. There are plenty of photos where the shield looks slightly pinkish when reflecting light.

Same here. Superman's strength has no relation to the size of his muscles. Not saying he should be stick thin but he doesn't need to look like a bodybuilder either.

Nope, Superman should have the ideal shape for a superhero. I hate when he's drawn thin.
