It would be neat to have all these mystery faces connected that's floating around the mansion, and even better to bring back a character with great potential. I loved that Quentin started out as a good kid who rebeled when he learned he was adopted. It showed how dangerous a mutant can be if not properly supervised. He became very interesting in my opinion, I'd like to see more of him.

thanks for the help with here comes tomorrow guys. Your inputs helped me understand it better, even though i got the basic ideas, some of that stuff just made them more clear.

i must've missed like all of morrison's arc cuz I don't know about any of these characters. quentin, the cuckoos, etc. I have a couple here and there, and i've made sure to stay away from the draco. but i've gone to the local shop and they don't have many to choose from, so i'm doing what i can. i would rather buy the issues than tpbs so i get what i can find

I'm an "issue" person myself, TPB annoy me for some reason, just doesn't flow with my collection. Well Quentin Quire was in one arc "Riot at Xaviers" was the title of it lasting from issue 134 to 139. He then "died" in that issue and wasn't seen again until his phoenix appearance in the last part of Here comes Tommarow. The Stepford Cuckoos were actually huge in Morrison's arc and has since been seen in several titles. They actually were seen in Here Comes Tommarow, they were the three blonde's that looked identical. There were originally 5 but two died in the process of Morrison's run.

OH, and my opinion is that Draco wasn't that bad, I actually really liked it myself. People just jumped on the Anti-Austen bandwagen and ran with it. There was one line that people didn't like when Nightcrawler's father tells NC that he's the Devil. We later learn he was just messing with him and that he's just a very old mutant. People cling to that and just use it to rag on the arc when it already corrected taht fact that he wasn't the devil. Eh, it was good in my opinion. My favorate part about it was learning that Abyss was Nightcrawler's brother. It did have to many substories going on simoultaneously but they were all good so I could look over it. I'd suggest not listening to anyone and actually try it for yourself. I liked it a lot and it's actually one of my favorate arc Austen did, and really one of my favorates lately overall.

yeah if i find it, i think i will check out the draco. it sounds alot better when people aren't bashing it. actually, the resaon i tried to stay away from it was b/c ppl said that it sucked and that his father was the devil. but now if i find it, i'll check it out.

btw, since abyss is his bro, is abyss any relation to mystique?

ok good, cuz if abyss ended up being mystique's too, that family would almost be as bad as the summers. lol then again, i don't think any family is as bad as the summers.

on another note, is anyone reading Phoenix: Endsong? I was thinking about picking it up, and was wondering if anyone has anything good/bad to say about it. or any other comics i should pick up and check out.

Phoenix Endsong is amazing! Pick it up. The story is good and the art is the best I've seen in years. It's drawn by Greg Land, the guy who's done several covers lately and did the pencils for Crossgen's Sojourn. Issue 2 is up in its entirety over at Mile High, go check it out. It's probably the book I'd suggest picking up the most at the moment.

i checked out the issue over on Mile High and I am def. gonna pick it up. I even set a reminder in my phone for the 26th lol so i dont forget. I read somewhere that issue one sold out, but I'm gonna try and get a copy. I also read somewhere that they're releasing a special edition copy of issue one the same day issue 2 comes out. I'm so excited, I'll pick up all three if available.

I haven't been this excited about comics in a while. The writing's been soo much better lately. Not all books, but some are REALLY good.

I was about the only one who like the Emma Frost series, but I think it would've done better if marketed better. The first arc took place in like high school, so the revealing covers didn't help to bring in the younger crowd they wanted. Personally, I think it would've been better as a Marvel Knights series. They could go into some of the Hellfire stuff and I'm kinda mad about them not mentioning her time in the Mental Institution. I hope they didn't just get rid of it. Maybe it happened before the series started or in between arcs or something. They can't just forget about it.

But then again it's marvel. they do that sometimes.

Well, Holocaust isnt in the AOA universe anymore even if it does still somehow exist (damn marvel undoing every good thing that happens in comics) so I dont know how they managed to find him there.

...also, Beak isnt there anymore, so Im guessing they left him behind in the AOA...

hey i was in the comic shop the other day, and I guess I was too late, cuz there is virtually no trace of Endsong anywhere in that place lol. But anyways, on a limited budget, I bought a couple of books, and I was checking out some other stuff, in case I want to get it when I have more money.

Does anyone know anything about the Mecanix series? I know its mainly about Kitty, but it is any good? I was also looking at Children of the Atom, and what about any of the Icons series? I have the Rogue one, but what about the others?

It's these on the street reports of Endsong selling faster than free gold that really gives me joy. LOL

Get Children of the Atom. But if you like Kitty acting out of character, get Mecanix

Children of the Atom was a nice new recap of the original days of the original team and the time frame when Xavier found them.

Mekanix I loved. Kitty was a little differant but it was showing her growing up and not acting like the child she had been portrayed over the years. And I also highly recommend it because it introduced the character Shola Inkoski,.. who is currently in Excalibur. He was best shown in Mekanix and just won me over faster than any other new character ever has.

As for the Icons they were all pretty much let downs. The only one that I liked was Chamber's. Nightcrawlers was okay but Rogue's and Cyclops' were just bad imo.
