Were almost there people to 97%. We only need 6 more consecutive positive reviews. I think it is going to happen. Don't fail me now. Lol

Surfer
Almost there. :cwink:

Very, very safe. The statistician in me always has to say this so bear with me....

Given that the differences in populations that have already submitted reviews and those that have yet to submit reviews are not statistically significant, it is very, VERY safe to say that this movie will easily be over 90% when all is said and done.

thx

Seems like quite a few of the recent reviews have been around 4/5. Any chance of ticking back up to 7.7 Avg?

We must be around or getting close to the halfway point now and the rating still hasn't changed significantly.

Average rating is at 7.593 right now. And to answer Iceman's earlier question, I follow this system for letter grade to numerical rating :

I take the average value and go with it. So if it's a B, I take it as a 7. If it as an A, I take it as a 9 and so on.

Oh right. Seems like a good system

If the figure is accurate then for now it is more about consolidating the 7.6 than aiming for the sky.

Sorry about the formatting. It didn't come out as intended! I have edited it and added the link from which I used that system.

Now we just need another 29 consecutive positive reviews for it to go back up to 97%. Which would be at 143 reviews with 138 Fresh and 5 Rotten. It may not happen, but this movie is performing so well at this point I kind of think anything is possible.

I thought this movie was supposed to be dropping......

Still made sense even like that lol. (happens to me when I import sports league tables too ;))

Is that your own system or one that someone else wrote? Either way it seems to make sense.

I counted 3 reviews when you quoted them not 2.
I am just the messenger. The website still has it at 141.

EDIT:
Gavia Baker-Whitelaw's reviews do not count toward the Tomatometer. This is not a Tomatometer-approved critic, and this critic's reviews are not published on a Tomatometer-approved publication.

Well I was just being very optimistic, because the facts at that point seemed to suggest it was less then likely, but hey when a fan dreams all things are possible. Or something like that. Lol

What is it at now?

Bugs me that it has a slim chance of reaching 7.7 now.

Your welcome! It's just that Comic Books and Superheroes are so traditionally thought of as being a male dominated interest, and I find it very refreshing to see more and more women being able to get into them. I got my Daughter into comics when she was a kid and now she is in her 30's and knows more about comics then most of her male friends. It's fun to watch her correct men that think they know what they are talking about. Makes a Dad proud!:yay:

Surfer

Your daughter sounds a lot like me, I'm also in my 30's and have been reading comics for 20+ years. :yay: I didn't originally get into comics through my parents but through a friend at school. Top parenting there though Surfer, your daughter is very lucky to have such a cool dad. :woot:

To get back on topic, how many fresh reviews is it now until the percentage raises to 97%? Just one?

Actually only 1 more to be mathematically rounded up. 138/143=0.96503.
