...Actually, remember when I said I already knew? Well, I did. Until I realised another favorite Marvel character of mine that was free. So now it's sort of narrowed down to two, with me having to choose between them if the rule is approved.

Hello peeps, just a thought, if we're going with the big story for season 3, could I maybe grab 'narrator' as a sort of character? [BLACKOUT]Possbily turning out to be Uatu?[/BLACKOUT]

I have a rough draft of the opener for it, see what you think?


On the first day, the average New Yorker was unaware, unaware of the shadow looming over earth. It’s amazing how few people ever look up. From the depths of the cold reality of space, one approached, a God, a destroyer, a force unimaginable to the inhabitants of the small blue planet.

The first night was one of wonderment; people for the first time began to look to the sky, mesmerized by the stars falling to earth. Stars that would twist and spiral as they fell through the atmosphere, bending and shaping the light as they descended past layers of thick clouds. Most heralded it as a freak astronomical event, yet men and their telescopes could not provide an answer, leaving the world in awe as the heavens fell to earth.


Kinda plotted out a rough thing too(yeah i have lotsa time), we start with the above, see how everyone reacts to this, then we start having the truth of the lights being surfers revealed? (I already written a post of that too, sad i know, but what the heck, I'm really into this now!)

Then we keep going along, a new narrator post once a week, to keep things moving along, that way when we wanna pace out the season it can be done easier? And after the problem is reseolved of the ultimate planet destroyer, lol, we could have the aftermath to close the season or something? Thoughts people?

I like it, but we have to figure Gah Lak Tus out. I kinda didnt care for those robotic drones but I also don't want to see a giant dude either. If anything maybe we can show that the drones and the surfers were built/engineered by a giant super computer that need the energy of a planet to power itself, it would be a hell of a twist to reveal that this super computer was built by Uatu and the watchers and it went haywire.

I just posted a huge write up, but SHH cut me off and I lost it all!!! I'll try to write it over a few posts this time so I don't get timed out.

Gah Lak Tus - We can keep him with his 616 background, but we never really learn about it(only specualtion from Uatu). He is unkillable as he is a necessary part of the universe like death and eternity(more 616 stuff, but I think it works well). All the god's are scared of him, hence Loki mentioning him.

Devouring planets: Rather than a stupid machine, he just slowly drains the life from the world, plants wilt and die, animals decay, crops rot etc. This will take longer than it does in 616(sorry about the ignorance here, but I'm not familiar with ultimate gah lak tus). His presence itself drains the life from stuff. Due to the proces being longer, it gives us more story time, and makes the masses of surfers justifiable, because they must 'prep' the world for his arrival, as he takes 6 days to eat the world once landing on earth(like the bible, created in 6, destroyed in six, then he rests for a day before moving to the next world, i added that, you like? lol)

Size: He has to be big enough so we cannot imagine any hero's being able to stand up to him, it's not very impressive if giant man can step on him etc. And he needs to be able to fly through space,(yes I'm fleshing out a huge word document on the Ultimate Marvel SHH universe).

Watcher's involvement?: Due to him being the only survivor of the last universe, the watchers only know what they have collected about him. I was thinking that Uatu could be more like his 'Earth X' incarnation, where he sees himself and his race as more important, so rather than the hero's beating gah lak tus, they must beat the watchers to gain their respect and help?

(Please remember, these are just the idea's I am coming up with, please discuss and we can shape them to be the best for everyone, we are all part of this)

There is also a nice dark twist about the watchers that I'm working on, will tell all later, see how this stuff goes down first, a twist is no good if everyone knows about it!!!

Anyways, any feedback is good, I can redraft all my ideas if necessary, spending lotsa time to make things better for us lot on the hype!

Also, if we're getting really into this, we could somehow ultimize the classic necessities mythology, ie-living tribunal and such like? Just a thought

Im liking your story so far Cy cant wait to hear more. Just aslong as Galactus isnt a giant guy in a purple dress, Id rather him be a entity that you never really see his true form.

Well we won't see him for a long time through the season anyways! And he'll still be purple i feel, but a VERY dark purple, almost black, I'll try to manip some images or something to go with it. Any input you have is brilliant from my perspective!

Am I the only one who likes the idea of Gah Lak Tus? Not so much the mini-series it was spawned out of but the idea of the hive mind drones.

well im up for anything kind of design, its just that like you said Galactus is going to be this very feared being and I don't find 616 Galactus at all scary.

These powers have very limited windows due to massive expense for any moment of 'uptime;' costs for these literally burn millions of dollars per microsecond. Also, quick post/warning. Watchman, don't make anymore Gah Lak Tus posts until we've come to an agreed origin for him. Galactus might be an exception to the no re-ultimizing rule. Then again, another thought, all the little robot things could have been like...a pre-emptive strike or something too, or scouting robots. Just another thought to throw in.
