The "Ultimate Marvel" RPG Sign-up & OOC Thread

I'm thinking about rejoining this RPG... Except I wanna drop Ghost Rider, keep Venom, and be either Ultimate Captain America or Ultimate Iron Man aswell.

Think that would be possible?

Captain America would be awsome to have in this RPG, especialy sence he and Thor are the only members of the Avengers/Ultimates not under Apocalypses control.

Screen Name: Master Bruce

Character you would like to play: Ultimate Captain America/Steve Rogers.

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Has enhanced reflexes and strength due to a super solider serum that he volunteered for back in WWII.

Steve Rogers was the ultimate war hero. Being the first volunteer for the super solidier project, He became Captain America, America's ultimate secret weapon against the Nazis in World War II. However, during a mission, he was caught in an explosion, and eventually his body was frozen in the seas of his last WW2 battle. Rogers was believed to be dead, by many.

However, in present times, S.H.I.E.L.D found him and restored him to life. Due to the freezing, His body remained the same as it was during the war, which was now long since over. Being briefed about the world around him by General Nick Fury, Rogers maintained his patriotic spirit and dedication to his country when he was asked to lead a group of superpowered heroes to protect Earth. Donning a new and getting a new shield, his primary weapon during his golden days, Rogers reassumed the identity of Captain America, and now leads the supergroup known as The Ultimates, to protect America. To protect freedom.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He's a legend amongst the Marvel roster of characters.

2. This could be something fairly new and exciting for me, since I've never played him. Or the 616 Cap, for that matter.

3. ... uh... I look good in blue?

What can you bring to this game?

A true patriot hero with a badass shield and a legendary status amongst everyone else. That, and the only superhero who could get by with wearing 'A' on his forehead.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:

At least once. Depends on what I have to do, and what there is to do in the game.

Just so ya know, the only thing that been done with Cap so far in this RPG is that He and Thor refused to work for Apocalypse, or "Gabriel" as he pretended to be, and a now reviered as outlaws to most of the government because Apocalypse has seized governmental control by using the worlds leaders like pupets.

well most of the people thats still playing are X-men and the major thing thats happening is the Apocalypse story arc. Maybe you could have Doom team up with Apocalypse?

I think loads of us a have stopped posting really. I enjoyed this RPG for a time until we reached a huge battle in New York which was good until it kept dragging on and on and most of us lost the love for it.

I'd like to come back to it but there simply isn't enough players. And with Spider-man9x17 not here, it becomes a real problem.
