I sit down on top of her basically sitting on her to keep her still, I reach out and hold her face in my hands.

"Ali you may not be in control but I know you can hear me and see me. You can fight this thing controlling you, you’re stronger than it. That’s it's most powerful weapon against you, it makes you think that your a weak pathetic nothing and your not! You hear me! Its' nothing more than Apocalypse messing with your mind. FIGHT IT!!!"

I keep the struggling girl down with my arms. She's close enough to make me break a sweat (if my skin allowed me to, anyway), but not enough to break my grip. I realize what Warren's plan is and continue with it, though in a slightly different way.

"Yes, you are not pathetic, Ali, but that's all Apocolypse thinks of you as! That's why he used you in the first place, because he thought he could control you! NO ONE controls you, do you understand Ali? If you're half the woman I know, you won't let that stand. Break out of this spell, Ali, and then the three of us will, as the American saying goes, 'kick his pansy ass!'"

Now I have both Archangel and Collosus pinning me. There's no way I'm getting out of this through force. But one thing is true, Apocalypse has underestimated me. I am smarter than he thinks. I stop struggling

She hit me so hard my ears start ringing, how could I have been so stupid, how could I have fallen for that. As my eyes start to focus again I see her fighting by Apocalypse's side.

"Peter you can do whatever you want but Im freeing Ali, even if I have to kill her to do it."

Please god don't make me have to kill her.

 

[Purple Man]

The air was dry in the aftermath of destruction. But for one person it rained. For the Hulk it rained arrows. Unfortunately the tips weren't adamantium so the arrows splintered on impact. This was enough to distract the gray goliath from Captain America and turn his attention towards the archer who approached from behind.

For such a gargantuan beast, the Hulk turned on Hawkeye with such speed he barely had time to retrieve another arrow. Pulling the bow string back, Clint could feel the monsters hot breath on his face, his mammoth hands casting large shadows over the bowmans face.

Eyes hiding behind protective goggles were shut tight as he released his arrow. The rounded tip hit the beast between the eyes, releasing a brilliant flash of light, leaving the creature stunned.

Narrowly he ducked under a backhand that was meant to decapitate him. Rolling backwards, he evaded a open palm that would have squashed him flat.

Hawkeye kept his balance as the Hulks hand struck the ground, sending tremors through the Earth. Preparing another arrow, Clint ran up the Hulks' giant arm.

Standing astride the menacing monsters massive shoulders, he pointed his bow downward as the Hulk tilted his head back, still seeing spots.

Slowly the Hulks' eyes regained focus, and the first thing he saw after regaining his sight was the tip of an arrow right before it pierced his cornea.

Bellowing like an unholy monstrosity, the archer upon his back dove away. Landing in a crouched position beside the living legend Captain America.

"O' Captain, my Captain." Clint had another arrow at the ready.

Three words that rose into Ororo Munroe's mind as she plunged through the clouds and laid eyes upon the blazing city below. Her pure white tresses were rippling wildly out behind her as she increased her speed, gathering her energy. She was going to need it. "Dazzler! Alison!" Storm called, her voice harsh as she gathered more wind behind herself and pressed forward. I have to slow her down... Raising one arm and gesturing, she called down a lightning bolt. It struck the ground before Alison with a boom and a sizzle.

"That should slow her down," Storm muttered under her breath, and dropped down before her opponent. "Come on, Alison! Are you really gonna let a damn blue freak control you like this?"

I look behind me to see the small army of Infinites that was under my control advance toward us, I pull out a pair of feather darts and look over to Collossus and Storm.

"It's time we show Apocalypse who the strongest really is."

 

[Darth Wolverine]

"Then we have to finish this a different way," Storm responded through gritted teeth. Without waiting for a response from Dazzler, she outstretched one hand. A strong gust of wind followed it, intended to slam into Ali and force her back.

Storm took to the air again, gathering electrical energy in her palm and tossing it at the Horseman, raining attacks down upon her.

 

[Noon]

Heat. Burning my flesh. Wind, buffeting me back. I whirl around but can see no attacker. My confusion only fuels my infinite animal rage. Then I hear a voice from above me. I look to the sky with bared teeth. Weather Witch.

Light boils around me and I send up an intense burst of it, searing through the air and crackling with energy. It catches her side and burns into her mocha skin.

As my new, "Partner" is holding of Venom a group of about 20 infinats attack, and i being the only one free have to take them all on. I jump up in the air right on ones sholders and zap it square on the head, while standing on it he begins to fall. But when looking around i notice a fallen telephone pole, i grap it and stick it infron of the flame while Carnage gives me an obscure look. I say

as i begain to spin in a circle knocking out about 10-13 of the infinants. I then through it at 2 others of to the side, while i jump on a still standing telephone pole, cut down the wires and wraped the remaining 5 up in the wires. While they are wraped up i then give them a swift right uppercut and send them into the fire where Venom is.
I look at Carnage and he gives me a look as he says...

I catch her as she falls toward me, I lay her flat and try and stop the blood from squirting out of her neck.

"Nonononono! Please don't let this happen, please!"

I can't get the blood to stop flowing, oh my god I can't stop it!

I turn to Steve and Clint.

Hell................right in front of me I see hell. Apocalypse is a giant, a titan who could kill us all individualy.....................but........wea aint individuals here today, were a team, all of us here for one purpose..........to rip this son of a *****'s guts out and send him packin to whatever hell he came from! People who would never be caught dead in the same room together fighting side by side to destroy a common threat. Cable begins to run toward Apocalypse blasting at him with some sorts of laser gun, it almost seems to affect him. I look over to see Ali and Warren, I look at them wondering if I will have the strength to fight them, thats when I realize that whatever they had become.........their tryin to snap out of it. I see Warren standin over Ali try to help her, tryin to pull her out of it, then I see her shakin almost slippin out of it. Her eyes start to go animal, I can see the edge of her claws pokin out of her hand, before she can lose it I hear her finaly words, as if she has givin up completly, suddenly they pop, and I watch as she embeds them into her head..............I rush towrads her..... I hope I'm not to late...................

Ali.......ALI! Its ok......its ok darlin........Im here......

She almost seems to start cryin......Her claws still deep in her head, I pull them out, she'll heal I know it....she has to. I wrap my arms around her limp body and hold her head in my shoulder, I pull her close and say...

Ali......Ali listen to me darlin, Yur gona be alright, yur gona heal thats why you gota listen to me darlin wake up, I know what its like, losin control, becomin someone else intirely, but you can fight it! You aint never been one to give up, or let someone else tell ya what or who you are! You gona start now? You just gona take the punks way out?..........I dont think so. You gota fight this Ali, yur the stronger one, anyone can kill, anyone can destroy, but it takes an exceptional few to create, and last time I checked darlin you were a mucisian or somethin right? Yur all about creatin. I wont give up on you kid, you hear me? Yur as close to a daughter as I'm ever gina get! You need to wake up, WAKE UP KID!.............................I dont say this often kid.....but.......I love you........Yur like........yur like a daughter to me, and now more than ever, your of my blood, we have the same DNA, the same animal runnin through our veins........and if I know anything about my blood.....its that its strong, which mean you are too! FIGHT THIS!

Cable runs towards me using his antimatter cannon to tear into my flesh, the first real injury I have faced in a while, however that will not stop me, I AM INVINCIBLE!

YOU CAN NOT HOPE TO WIN! I WILL KILL YOU ALL AS I HAVE IN EVERY TIMELINE AND DIMENSION!

You forgot something DAD! In every timeline I've been able to destroy this world, to keep your mits away from it...........I have sacraficed everything to beat you, my freinds, even my family, I killed them all........so that maybe......they could live. Time travels a tricky thing, but from what I know you cant make a succesful jump while your body's tainted with anti-matter, I dont care how strong you are! So now......I can blow up this whole planet, everyone here, including you!!

DO YOU THINK ME A FOOL! I know you will not do any such thing Cable, you would not permanently end their lives, not even to kill ME!

If I have to choose between killing everything on this planet, or condeming them to a life under your rule.....................I think they'll forgive me.

He begins to bring his fingers to his arm, activating something there in, but what.......CEREBRA! NO! HOW COULD IT EXIST HERE! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! I have insured that it not exist in this timeline! NO! I reach down upon the ground grabing Cable in one hand and raising his squirming body to my face. He is strong, as I made him, he almost has the power to resist my grasp.........almost.

HEAR ME NOW! You will not be the end of my dream, of my new world, I will kill you first! NO ONE STANDS IN THE WAY OF THE ALMIGHTY APOCALYPSE!

I grab at his body with my other arm and tear his arms apart, droping him to the ground. He lyes there now in a pool of his own blood, with bio-mechanical wires sparking and glowing next to him. NONE SHALL GET IN MY WAY!

As my tortured friend sliced her throat open with her claws, time stopped.

Not literary, of cource, but as soon as she raised her hand to do the deed, I rushed to her with all the speed I had, but it felt like a lifetime before I got to her, and by then, she was on the ground bleeding.

I knelt down before her, shocked and scared that Ali, the most stubborn woman I ever meet, would want to take the easy way out by asking Warren to kill her.

By the time Logan and the others made it, I felt something else...anger.

I am going to rip the bastard apart for doing this to my friends...my family.

I look up and see Apocolypse standing stories tall, ripping whom I assume is Cable apart. I grab a nearby SUV, grotch down, grab it and as soon as I had enough strength and speed, threw it as hard as I could, landing right between Apocolypse's eyes. He looks down at me like I'm an insect.

"APOCOLYPSE! I CHALLENGE YOU! GET DOWN HERE AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!!!"
