I begin to panic, as he is nowhere in my limited line of sight, my unsteady breathing becoming even more irregular.

I aim the flaming pipe in the air and than pinch the pipe shut. I look to see Electro have already tide up Venom.

"Alright lets go!"

I start to head toward Apocalypse until I notice all of these mutants still trying to protect a large group of normal humans against the Infinites.

"You could could go ahead im going to go help those people."

I form my hands into axes and jump into a large group of Infinites and start hacking a slashing.

I start to run to Apocolypse when infinites come out of nowhere and attack me, like they new i was coming... punches flew and the next thing you know...it was black>

I wake up to see me lying behind Carnage over 200ft. back as he fights off all the Infinites, i try to get up but i cant, i dont know why but i just lay back down and shut my eyes...waiting...

I start to run to Apocolypse when infinites come out of nowhere and attack me, like they new i was coming... punches flew and the next thing you know...it was black>

Jealousy surged through Storm as she saw Logan cradling Ali protectively. She griited her teeth and her gloved fists clenched. He loved that damn punk drunkard, and yet rejected her? She wasn't the one with the problem here...he was.

"Wolverine," she barked, making sure to call him by his codename, "are you going to help us fight, or not?"

Charging forward, she summoned yet another lightning bolt and began to strike at Apocalypse, calling bolt after bolt down upon him accompanied by screams laced with hatred and fury.

Suddenly I hear a whisper.

I look over to see him rithing in pain on the ground, his eyes rollin in the back of his head.

I start runnin at straight at him full force, I saw what Deadpools adamantium Katana did to him, so maybe adimantium can have some effect. I'll know soon enough. Ro's still tryin to face him head on, what is she thinking!

i say as i look down to make sure my legs were still there...i begin to think and i lift one hand up saping an electric beam up to a flag pole, remebering that metal absorbs electricity, and i begin to use it to pull myself atop of it, i begin to use one hand to hold myself up and the other to zap the living crap out of the stupid Infinats to help my partner out...

 

[Darth Wolverine]

"Now you care," Storm growled through gritted teeth. She dived forward, lightning bolts raining down around her. Sweat creased her brow as tears blasted through the dirt and dried blood caking her cheeks. The electrical storm was out of control. She was out of control. She wanted to stop, but she couldn't. Her mind was trying to prevent her heart from swaying her, but her emotions were already driving her and fuelling her anger.

"You don't tell me what to do, old man!" she hissed at Wolverine, and dived forward.

What is happening? What's wrong with me? I can't control myself...is Apocalypse affecting my head?

By some stroke of luck I regain concousness long enough to see Logan holding Ororo.

I look over at big dumb and ugly, I notice he's got little mechanical do das all over his belt and arms. Hmmmmmmm, maybe I cant take him, but at least I can shut off the power on whatever his controlin. I rush forward again, faster than I think I've ever run, dodging giant green men, Spider-man, a pool of red goo, Deapool's Kentucky fried ass, and thats when I notice Cap. I slow my pace, realizing that if there is anyone who can help me with this sack o' psycho, it good ol' Captain America.

STEVE!

Cap turns and looks me in the eye.

I may have a way we can ever the odds, but I need your help! We need to shred every bit of hardware that big blue ape is wearin! I got a feelin you'll see some changes in personality round here. Before I even finish my words, I'm flying up towards Apocolypse's face. I land right on his nose and move towards his eye, where the stranger (what did he call himself? Deadstool?) stabbed him earlier. I grip the eye and with all my strength pull at it until it's almost all the way out.

This imputant creature! HE DARE TOUCH ME! I slam my hand hard into my own face as to stun him, I then grab hold of the little man in my plam and start to squeeze hard!

Let us see how strong that metal truely is!

I squeeze harder, I nearly feel him start to bend and fold under my grasp. I continue squeezing, his rip cage starts to dent from my hand.

Perhaps it is I, that shall squeeze YOUR eyes out! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!

 

[The Question]

I stand, and turn towards the others.

"We get the point, m'lady. So, we all atack at once. Miss Munroe, I suggest you and I provide an arial distraction."

I'm in a dark space. I can see. And my father who's been dead for years is standing in front of me.

"I'm fine, Dad."

"Good. That's good."

"So. Am I dead, or what?"

"I'm not too sure myself."

Suddenly, everything shifts around us. We're in a park. I can see three people, two adults and a child, over at the swinds. The father is pushing the child while the mother takes pictures.


And the child is me.


Good lord, I must have been no older than three. There's dad, pushing me. Big and strong and comforting. Like I always try to remember him.


And there's mom....

"That was a good day, wasn't it?"

"I barely remember it. It's the last thing I can remember of mom."

"She was one hell of a lady."

"Yeah..."

Everything shifts again. We're in my apartment. Except, I'm only about twelve years old, and Dad's still alive. Not too long before the accident. Dad's speaking to me. About how he wants me to become a doctor or a lawyer or something special, and not a blue collar thug like him.

"You did me proud, Matt."

"I wasn't really sure if you'd aprove of the whole 'daredevil' thing."

"You're helping people. And you're making something of yourself. How can I not be proud?"

"Thanks, Dad."

We stand there in silence for a moment.

"Listen, Matty, there's something I've got to tell you...."

Everything shifts again. Now we're standing in the apartment. But I'm younger. And Mom's there. She and Dad are fighting. Something about her wanting to do more with her life. She runs into the beadroom, and comes out with a suitcase. Dad tries to reason with her, but she storms out the door and slams it behind her.


The day she left us. The day.....


Wait.


I turn to Dad.

"You said she died."

"Matty, listen...."

"You said she got sick. She got sick and she died. You said...."

"I didn't want you to know...."

"Dad. Is Mom.....is she alive?"

We stand there in silence for a few moments.

Magneto watched the carnage, waiting for the perfect time to attack. His Brotherhood was doing a good job of eliminating the infinites...they were merciless and cruel to their oppressors...Magneto was proud.

Magneto watched the developments with Apocalypse's horsemen. Archangel broke free of Apocalypse's mind control, and attempted to help Dazzler.

"Good thing Archangel came to his senses...with those metal wings he would have been almost too easy to kill" Magneto thought to himself "and kill him I would have..." He observed some more, and saw the Dazzler heal from the wounds she inflicted upon herself.

"She is not powerful enough to resist Apocalypse's mind control...in moments she will succumb to her rage. I must stop her once and for all...she is a distraction that the heroes have already wasted too much time trying to stop" It would be easy for Magneto...he felt a powerful pull coming from inside her body...similar to that of Wolverines

"So the metal known as adamntium covers her bones as well...only through great tragedy will she be able to realize who she truly is..." Magneto thought "and if she doesn't survive, I won't shed any tears...in a war sacrifices must be made" Magneto levitated himself and flew towards Ali who had just snapped back into her berserker rage.

He outstretched his hand and Ali's body lifted into the air. Magneto looked at the wretched beast before him...and almost felt sadness. He swept that feeling aside quickly and forgot it ever arose...nobody felt sadness when he lost his whole family. Concentrating his hardest he slowly began to manipulate the adamantium...sharp spikes began to portrude through her skin as she screamed loudly.

"Quiet child! do not struggle if you wish to survive this..." Magneto said. The adamantium began to emerge in full force now...beads of sweat rolled down Magneto's head. The precious metal was almost entirely removed...its twisted and warped spikes looked like a silver exo-skeleton around the girl's body. Adamantium was not an easy metal to manipulate and Magneto was exerting his powers to the max. His eyes crackled with white energy as the last of the adamantium was removed from her skeleton.

Magneto released his hold and Ali fell to the ground. Magneto mustered up every ounce of strength he had and began to fold and stretch the adamantium into a giant spear like weapon. "This ends now..." Magneto said as he floated up to the massive form of Apocalypse with his giant adamantium spear levitating beside him. With all his strength he launched the adamantium spear right into Apocalypse's eye, then removed it and launched it full speed into his throat.

Magneto? He's finaly here......wait, what is he,

ALI! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'LL KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A *****! I'LL KILL YOU!

I now run at him full force, forgeting completly about Cap.

MAGNETO! He actualy managed to injure me. THAT IMPUTANT SWINE! I WILL SEE HIM DEAD! I grasp hold of the spear, fighting furiously against his magnetic powers, but in the end, I am ALWAYS victorious! I am able to hurl the pole into what is left of the near by buildings, topleing them onto many of the "heroes" below. Magneto quikly freed himself with a magnetic forcefield, many others remained pinned by steel and bricks.

I WILL SEE YOU DEAD!

With blazing fists full of anger, rage, and power! I hit at his forcefield over, and over again, until he could no longer hold it steady, I landed a single punch into the pathetic muatant tyrant, sending him flying across the city!

WHAT SAY YOU NOW MAGNETO? ANY MORE TRICKS YOU CARE TO REVEAL?! OR WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR DEATH TO BE QUIK?!

I reach down for my remote controls, hoping to jump start my allies and have them assist me in defeating him, but it appears that during the choas my controls were destroyed! Unfortunatly this means that I will lose the control over my other Allies, but that only means that I have more to kill!

Buildings start falling on top of me! I can barley breath! I start slahin with my claws tryin to get free. What am I gona do what can I do? I finaly dig the rest of the way out, Im rpped apart all over! got heal. I look around to notice that evryone around me has been buried. I need to get em' out! I smell my way to Ali, I hobble over to her location and start digging at the rubble. Finaly I see her face.

OH GOD! JUST.....just HOLD ON!

I rip and tear at the rubble finaly throwing it all off of her. She lays there, barley concious, blood all over. Her tatoos have all been either cut, burned or scaped off, new skin regrowing in its place. Her eyes are rollin in the back of her head. She must be in shock, how much soes she have to go through. I start to cry while holdin her........not sure if she can suvive what Magneto put her through,

The pain finally stops, at first I thought I finally died. I open my eyes and look around, I don't see any of X-men or any other heroes. I see Wolverine dig himself out of the rubble of a fallen building and than dig Ali out. I don't know if Alis' dead or not, but Im going to make sure Apocalypse pays for this. I stumble to my feet and look around hoping to find somthing to use against him. I see somthing shiny sticking out of the rubble, I grab it and pull it out. It was a long sharp metal spear, I don't know how the hell it got here but im going to use it! Thank god I still had the enhanced strength Apocalypes gave me because there was no way id ever be able to lift this thing otherwise. I open my wings and launch myself at Apocalypse.

"Die you son of a bi*ch!!!!!!!"

I plunge the spear into his chest.

 

[Victor Creed]

I look around me and watch the chaos as it unfolds. Magneto's assault on Apocalypse seemed to hit the spot, or at least really piss him off. That is one big, pissed off mutant. I dodge the debris that fall from the buildings as the adamantium spear flies overhead. I'm not quick enough and I end up covered in bricks. I can taste my own blood running out of my mashed body. I concentrate for a moment as my healing slowly begins, hindered by the weight of the wall on top of me. I gain back enough strength to unsheathe my claws and burst out of the pile.

RAAAAAAAAHHHHHR

I stand for a moment, dazed as my muscles pop back into place and my skin begins to repair itself. I look over and see Logan, whining and holding the feral girl who ain't looking so good. She was already weakened by Magneto ripping out her adamantium, and now a building fell on top of her. Oh well, she wasn't important. If I'd have known it was gonna make Logan so sad I'd have killed her myself when I had the chance.

Just as I am regaining the use of all of my muscles I see Angel blast by with the spear and plunge it into Apocalypse.

Damn.

 

[Noon]

I hear his words dimly, the pain is so intense, like my body being split in two. My breath is shallow, hardly even there, and my body struggles to heal even at a normal rate.

And then there is only darkness. No visions, no illusions, just abyss. Sweet abyss that swallows me down and smothers me, wrapping me in warmth and silence without pain.

Hours after the mayhem in New York, a group of S.H.E.I.L.D. operatives had escorted all members of the Think Tank to a safety camp outside of New York. To keep many of the super intelligent children under control, a dozen or so S.H.E.I.L.D.operatives had been assigned the task of watching them.
Maybe someone forgot to inform these operatives about their powers, but at this point it didn't matter. It only took Reed an hour think of a scheme to get them out of the safety camp. Wearing their uniforms, the four of them had decided that they should split up and help out where they were needed.

"Hmmm, maybe I should go to Times Sqaure? I wonder where the Ultimates are? I've always wanted Thor's auotgraph.....
