That Invisable Woman seem to meddling to much and most and will be elimated very soon. Jumping more and more he can see Parker again and makes a landing right next to him and the Invisible Woman.

"Remember your friend Parker... Gwen Stacy" he smiled again "prepare to join her HAHAHAHA!" moving aside revealed Carnage

Everything happened so fast. Apocalypse got pissed and Phoenix came outta nowhere, barkin' orders to Magneto. He actually listens to her and gives up 5 of the rings. Of all the people he gives em to, one had to go to Logan didn't it. Where was my reward I was promised in exchange for the rings?

I'll worry about it later. For now, I gotta figure out a way to do some damage. It ain't gonna easy considerin' I ain't nothin' but a fly compared to him. Then again, easy wouldn't fun.

What in the hell just happened? Jean? Pheonix? What is goin on? I start to move close to her, try to understand whats goin on. I walk up close, standing inches away from her, shes on fire, LITERALY! Then I say,

"Jeanie......I.....What happened?"

"Shhhhhhhh, it alright James. I'm here now. Just relax."

What? What did she call me? Its like......like my dreams.....like the name Ali called me! But how?.......

"Its ok, you don't have to be afraid. You can trust me, of all people you can trust ME."

She places her hands on my head, and I feel calm......and.....clear. Images start rushin through my head, places I aint never been to, things I aint never seen, but then I realize..................yes I have. I......I'm........I'm remembering.........my LIFE! Now the dreams start makin sence, the girl in my dream, the one by the lake, I wasn't imagining it. It was HER! It was Jean..........it was ROSE!

"ROSE!"

Her voice changes slightly, a little more reckognizable, even Irish sounding.

"Yes James, it's me. It's always been me. I never left James, no matter how many times I died, I always came back for you my love. It was the Pheonix that made it possible. You see as long as your alive, my soul will follow you. I may not remember who I am in my mind, but my SOUL always remembers. Now matter what happens I will always love you James."

"Shhhhhh, don't worry, just feel calm. You are a hero James, no matter how much you don't belive it, you ARE a hero. And.....your job is not done yet. It's time that you fulfill your destiny. You have to save our world James. Please, for me, show strength, show courage."

For the first time in a long time, things are clear. My mind it as rest, and I feel........happy. She looks at me with her deep emerald eyes, and before ya know it......well.......lets just say I'm the happiest man in the battle of Amegedon!

She kisses so passionatly, a fire I aint ever felt before. Slowly she stops, pulls back gently, and says calmly,

"Now is the time James. Take it, take it and save our world."

The ring lowered itself in front of me, I held out a trembeling hand as it landed in the midle of my palm. I slide the ring on my finger, and some strange energy starts flowing through my body, somethin....somethin POWERFULL! Jean grabs me by the neck and kisses me again, when I open my eyes Im......well.......I'm FLYIN! As her lips removes themselves from mine, I feel even more energy flowing through me, thats when I realize that my body is now covered with that same glowing red flame as her, some how I know that its called "The Pheonix Force", and I feel better than I ever have.

"James, Logan, I love you."

"I love you too darlin, I love you too."

She turns from me and looks towards the others.

"Now hear me! In order to defeat this monster, you must be pure! He will feed of of your anger and hate! Do not let those emotions rule you! You are all honerable and nobely intended at heart, but some of you have convinced yourselves other wise. We all have in us the ability to do WONDERFUL or TERRIBLE things, but today is where you decide. If you can chanel into that more noble side, than you can save this planet! But without it........I feel we will all be doomed. Through this nobility I can enhance you powers to a point unimaginable! BUT! You must be pure, and true! I ask you now, not as humans or mutants, or differnt sides of war, but as MEN and Women, as People! Will you stand with me? Will you see this tyrant fall?.......Are you ready.........To become HEROES!"

Magneto looks up at Jeanie and says,

"Fine. I shall do as you ask, but only if it truely means destroying this BEAST!"

Magneto doin what someone else ask him, I doubt it, let alone him being pure of heart! I don't know what Jeanie has planned, but it better work!

"Then now is the time! APOCALYPSE! WE DEFY YOU! In the names of all the Gods of this earth, and the divine that created all of existance, WE DEFY YOU!"

She throws her hands into the air and long streams of energy flow outa her and into everyone holdin a ring. Now we're all covered in those same flames that surounded Jean, and at that moment I can feel them all inside a my head, inside a my soul, I'm connected to them all, and them to me. We can all hear each other in our heads, and that ability seems be some what amplifed by the Chuck. Then Jean start talkin to us in our heads,

<"I have linked us all by the bonds of the Pheonix, through your pure intentions we are as one. Now is the Time to deffend our planet, to save this world in a way that it has never needed before. If there were ever a day to show your true heroism, it is this day.">

I can feel that the others understand, and then the prof starts to speak,

Today is a day that we fight for the planet that has mothered us all, that has given us life and each other. Today My X-Men, my friends, we must stand United!">

I can feel everyones thoughts, and worries, their confidence, and doubt. Thats when Kurt starts to speak,

Everyones cryin, even me, we realize that this thing may end, and we may die, but.....inside.....we all know that we realy do love each other, that we're family. I can feel Kitty wants to say something but.....shes afraid...

I fly at him, can't belive it, but I do! I'm flyin! I jet at hit and stike with all my might! The other follow my lead, Chucks doin all he can telekeneicaly, he even raises up from his wheelchair and stand on two feet. First time I ever seen that without dreamin. He creates some sorta pyschic armor around him, and mental weaponry. Storm calls on her elements and lightning pours like water out of the sky! Angel takes to the sky and sends blasts of pure white light dierctly at hit, peircing through Apocalypse in many places. I can't belive it....but....this is working! Colossus created pillars of fire that stood tall as buildings around him, hurling flames at apocalypse. Magneto hit him with blasts or energy and hurled metal at him from all directions, he even impaled him with the adimantium staff once again! We finaly had a powers to match him! I flew around him, striking where I could with my claws, flying too fast to be caught. Not like he could even see me with all the other distractions. he was weakened, i could feel it. Now we gota strike him at once, right in the heart of the beast! i focused my thoughts on the group, tryin to tell em what should be done, but as I tried to connect i slowly realized that there was one of us harder to reach than the rest! MAGNETO! I started yellin at him,

"Whats goin on? Why can't I hear yur thoughts!?"

"Shut up and fight you fool! APOCALYPSE MUST DIE!"

"Erik, ya gota be calm, gotta be pur remember? Or we can't beat him!"

"CALM! PURE! WHO ARE YOU TO TALK TO ME OF SUCH THINGS! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL! NOW STRIKE AT HIM WITH THE HEART OF ONE! KILL APOCALYPSE! HE MUST PAY!"

"SNAP OUT OF IT!"

I can feel the power start to deminishm, jean pops back into our minds,

<"Without a connection to Magneto, this battle will be lost! If he refuses to calm himself, we will surely die!">

As we started to fell our power drain from us Apocalypse, weakened, coughing what I think is blood, and shrinking in size, spoke,

"I TOLD YOU! YOU CAN NOT CHANGE ONE FROM HIS TRUE NATURE! Hatred Lives in him! YOU WERE ALL FOOLISH! You have weakened me, yet you shall never defeat me!

He raised his hand into the air holding the cube, Cerbra!

"NO!"

"NOW YOU WILL ALL FACE MY WRATH! THE WRATH OF APOCALYPSE! I WILL USE YOUR OWN PATHETIC INVENTION AGINST YOU! AND I SHALL DESTROY THE WORLD!

Its over...........we lost...........he's about to kill everyone and everything........on the entire planet............I look at Jean.........i look at the others.........we all feel weak............our power lost and drained............what do we do now? Do we just accept that were about ta die? I look at Jean again.......but shes lookin at somethin else............its Cable.......he lyin on the ground.......DEAD.......and shes cryin..........what is she.............she stands up and looks at me, then at Apocalypse, and then back at me..........what?


"I'm sorry Logan.......I'm sorry James, but now I realize what I must do...........All of this......all of it, is relative to time........Apocalypse has used time as his greatest weapon, and little did he know that it was to be his greatest weakness. My son is dead, and he died as a hero, but.....had he never been born......Apocalypse would not have this world..........And I have a responisbility, as an X-Man, as a human mutant being, as The Pheonix.......to protect this world.......and to sacrifice............"

I run towards her, but I'm stoped by a psychic barrier only a few feet in front of her. She looks at me, crying her eyes out.......I'm doin the same........I can't let her die!

It hits her stomach and slides the entire way through her and into a building behind her......She falls to the ground, and as she does flames erupt from her, covering us all, covering the entire world, cleansing it of death and destruction. Apocalypse screams, and falls to the grounds, he is caght by the flames and burns in front of us, the Body of Cable, and the Cube in Apocalypses hand Burn with him, evaporating into nothingness. as the flames clear, I can see again........As I look up I don't see the destruction of the city, or a war torn world, but a sunny moring in New York city, with the flames hurling themselves at the sun, yet we all remain in the places we were standing, sitting, or laying, or dieing. But none of us are injured, or dieing, everyones fine.........except Jean......she still lies in the middle of the street with a whole in her chest. No one else is dead......the corpses of the New Yorkers that once lined the streets were up and walking again......and now they stood in horror looking at us all.......their Heroes and Villians. I ran up to Jeans body, and clutched her in my arms screaming,

"NOOOOOOOOOOO! OH GOOOOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! JEANIE! JEEEEEEAAAAAANIEEEEEEEEE! ARHHHGGGHGHGHRRGG! NO!......no........no..........nooooooo....."

Thats when I look up to see none other than Scott walking towards me, he's got his eyes closed, he aint got his visor on, and a[parently whatever Magneto did to him didn't stick. But he hears me and stumbles over to me, I pop my claws in anger, and jump on top of him,

"YOU! YOU DID THIS! YOU KILLED HER! ITS YOUR FAULT! ITS YOUR FAULT! Its your......fault.......its your.....its your......fault..."

He doesnt say anything......he just starts cryin......I don't know what to do......its all to much.........I'm still grabin hold of him......but now.......its like I'm doin it for comfort..........

"Shes gone.......She's gone........."

"NO! DON'T YOU SAY THAT! DON'T YOU......"

"She's gone......She's gone....... She.....she....waneted......Me....to tell you........she loved you........"


He starts cryin again, and I.......I just....I can't take it.........every thing........goin......black..........can't see......can't.......

He must retreat to a very secret location one of his many bunkers stashed around the city and its outskrits. He turns back to Carnage.

"We must leave now follow me quickly!" he jumps into the air and begins leaping across buildings.

I look around at everyone around me and they all have the same pained look on they're faces, except Magneto. Anger slowly starts to cloud my vision, this was all his fault. I walk over to him and punch square in the jaw sending him a few feet. Jump ontop of him and wrap my hands around his neck as tightly as I can.

"You son of a bi**h! This is your fault! If you kept your cool and didn't get angry we could of defeated him and Jean didn't have to die!"

The Goblin opened it and him and him and Carnage went down the hole. Lights suddenly came on exposing a large hanger type room. The room itself was full of hi tech weapons.

"Welcome to one of my many bunkers. As you have know my business developed many weapons but of course the heroes got in my way before I could finish my legacy." he told Carnage. "But the greatest items in this room are below this tarp" he grabbed the tarp and pulled it off revealing four large sized bombs.

"I do not enjoy seeing my fellow mutants suffer...I take no pleasure in Jean Grey's death, and did not want it to transpire. The grief and pain that lives in my soul is not so easily released...a lifetime of anguish can not be expelled on a whim!!" Magneto shouted angrily.

"The only people present who can even begin to understand my torment would be Logan or Cyclops...now ask yourselves, if someone demanded you release the pain inside you right now, could you do it? I think not...and neither could I..." Magneto said as he levitated himself into the air.

"Apocalypse has been defeated Charles...all things are as they should be...balance has been restored" Magneto said "thus our uneasy alliance is now ended...we can both go our own ways. I regret the loss of your finest student Charles...but we both knew in our hearts this war would not be without loss" Magneto turned his attention back to Angel.

"What happened to you're friend was unavoidable...what she asked me to do was impossible. My inner turmoil and anguish drive my every action...they make me who I am...they are the only reason I survived the holocaust when my family did not, and they can not be so easily swept aside! Without them I would cease to exist...and while i'm sure that is acceptable to you...it was not for me" Magneto said. He paused for a moment...

"Do not fret young Angel...you will have your chance for revenge...sooner then you think...but remember this always...It is I who saved the life of the one you love...without my help, you're precious Ali would be dead! Can you really hate the man who saved you're love...you're reason for existing? You will now know pain...you will now know anguish! Only time can tell if you are capable of controlling it...I on the other hand have given up on control...it only serves to hold me back!" Magneto said lifting his hand into the air. The rings he distributed to the heroes were magnetically pulled off their hands, and shot towards Magneto...except one. He turned to Storm...the ring would not come off her hand...it was as if the ring had fused with her...become one with her powers.

"Come now my Brotherhood...Apocalypse has been defeated...we have a great many things to undertake...many plans that need continuation!" Magneto said as he levitated the Brotherhood alongside himself, and took off towards his old fortress.

I rub my head as the intense ache begins to fade. I look around at the streets of New York, expecting carnage and wreckage, but finding only confused bystanders.

Inside was a briefcase containing the last samples of Oz. He started to climb the ladder and he looked back at Carnage.

"Remember make Parker's life a living hell. And when you want to meet me in public please do not do it in that form" he opened the door to the surface. He was in the outside now and he had to do something quick Fury would find him soon and when he did he would take him down. A voice coming from close by made Norman smile.

"Help! Somebody please help me" screamed a woman. He walks over carrying his briefcase and makes his way toward the woman.

"What's the matter Mrs." the woman looks him over and she doesn't seem to reconize him.

"It's my little boy he is trapped under the rubble you have to help him!"

"I'll do what I can" Norman made his way over to the rubble and started to lift heavy pieces off the pile. Good he though that shot Apocalyspe gave and mixing with the Oz must have let him keep his powers in human form. Although during this a news van was going by. They were tipped off by someone on what happen in that final battle. They stopped and ran out when they saw pieces of rubble flying around.

"Get your camera out" a woman shouted "Dan if you can hear me in the studio it looks like wait somebody is emerging from the rubble and it's oh God." Osborn comes from the rubble holding a small child in his arms. "Holy **** it's Norman Osborn?!" he gives the child to his mom and the news crew run over. "Can you explain your actions are you suppose to be in SHIELD custody?"

I climb out of the bunker and head towards Queens.

"The actions done by the Green Goblin were not my own but by the mutant known as Apocalypse. I will be gathering the rest of my remaining resources and will be holding a press confrence revealing everything from my actions done by the Green Goblin and my help in rebuilding the city."

"Well their you have it folks a reformed...."

"One more thing" he opened the briefcase and pulled out a vial "this is OZ and this is for anybody at SHIELD watching" he threw it on the ground and the vial smashed. "The rest will be destroyed at the confrence" he walked away from the camera he had to started preparing.

As I start to lift Logan off the ground I realize that I still have the super strength I had while I was brainwashed by Apocalypse. I toss Logan over my shoulder and look around for the x-jet.

"Um Professor wheres the X-Jet?"

"Iv already telepathically summoned it, it'll be her any minute."

And sure enough not two minutes the X-Jet lands quietly before us.

"....someone will have to get Jean"

"I have her."

I turn and see Jean levitate into the and float into the X-Jet with Professor X right behind here. I start to follow him into the Jet until I notice Scott still sitting on the ground staring off into space.

"Scott come on we got to get out of here."

He dosent say anything.

"*sigh* Collosus would you mind?"

Collosus goes over to Scott and flings him over his shoulder and walks into the jet. I follow Collosus into the jet and put Logan into one of the seats and than starp myself into a seat.

"Lets go home."
