I don't like that old Batman kills. However, including Death of Superman as well, seems like Snyder is putting his favorite stories in this movie just in case he gets canned.

Were did Verendus confirm this plot leak? I saw someone asking in Neogaf and his repsonse was to kryptic to be certain of any confirmation on his part.

nvm, verendus is actually implying part of it is true mixed with BS to mislead people ( warner are roaming forums)

take the synopsis with a grain of salt for being the full story

Guys seriously, nobody else finds it strange that there's no blood on Superman's wound in that leaked pic? There'd be blood if he got impaled.

Not in a pg 13 movie.

PG13 says hi. Nolan's trilogy was PG13 and almost showed no blood throughout but many felt KNIGHT and RISES could've been R...especially KNIGHT.

Well, it depends where that pic is from... it could just be a shot before he dies, where he's passed out, not dead.

A bloody chest gash is too much for PG13. I always felt the extended cut being R rated had a lot to do with Doomsday, and I suspect you'll see blood in that.

You know what though, I wanna know how Supes comes back to life? I mean, Zod never did, so how can Supes?

You get have blood in a PG-13. I mean come on, major arteries and the heart are there. It seems kinda off that the wound looks dry.

The kryptonite radioactivity instantaneously cauterizes all wounds, even ones that are of the "gaping chest" variety. It's science.

Well, I think Kryptonian flesh can heal, just not bones...so Supes can recover from wounds but Zod cannot recover from a broken neck.

That, or he was never dead, just severly weakend by the Kryptonite in the spear.

If this is true, killing Doomsday with a Kryptonite Spear seems really stupid. This is how you end a Doomsday fight:

Not to mention how is Clark even holding the Kryptonite spear? He should be on the ground in pain if he even comes near that stuff.

There are two I'm thinking of, back to back, one is that shot we've all seen of bats with that rifle, and Gotham in front of him, the other is right before, still holding the rifle but aiming down at a truck he's been tracking. It's full of kryptonite. The rifle is just to fire a tracking device, nothing more. This how the batmobile chase scene at the docks begins.

Awesome thanks man! So no shots of Bats on a gargoyle?

I hope he is never trully dead.

I just figured that if there heart stops they are dead. For good.

Yeah a bit of a stretch. I mean in the comics i sort of bought his resurrection becuase the fight was a slugfest. He could have been in an alien like coma and not truly dead.

Here, it seems he has Wolverine's self healing capabilities... which--heck, why not? He has every awesome powers out there... why not add one more to the list.

Doing the Death of Superman just seems very wasteful in this film, especially considering everyone knows Superman is back in Justice League. So really what's the point? Like "Oh he's totally dead guys. We're being serious."

Even if they did it in a few years, no one would buy that he is dead for good.

The way his death is being used seems pretty useful and impactful considering how the world sees him in this film. That's one of the main reasons I'm so okay with this happening this early. Because of how well it would be used.

Agreed on all accounts.

Is it really death of superman if we're told, end of film, he's still alive?

Random thought but if Superman's dead for any length of time, and let's say they cover Clark Kent's simultaneous disappearance with something like "he died during the Doomsday attack", what are the odds the Clark Kent persona actually stays dead post BVS and Kal El is just Superman when he returns?
