I asked him what's Diana's first scene, and he doesn't remember.

I think he just doesn't care much for it. He is answering questions and showed he saw it but doesn't seem like he paid attention to the characters much. He did go into some detail more than pale did on certain scenes

I asked him point blank about the characterization giving how much praise Terrio has received and the research he has done. He told me in his opinion, there isn't much. But we'll see I guess. Honestly it's the drama, well constructed character dichotomies and the philosophical commentaries between characters that I was most looking forward to. I mean I'll enjoy the action but with such layered and complex characters like Supes and Bats, I was looking forward to characterization and ethical dilemmas the most. Now I don't know what to think...

Seems like just another Zack Snyder movie.

Well, from that reddit dude, it sounds like Supes is about to pop out the ground as Bruce/Diana walk away...so my issue becomes this: it doesn't sound like his return will factor into JL, that it will be already long done before the events of those films. So why do it at all? I'm on board with this, but if Supes' return isn't going to factor into JL, then why end BvS on a somber, yet hopeful note? You could have just ended with a completely happy one.

Don't take his word as truth when it comes to the movie as a whole. It's his opinion and he even says that. Not everyone is gonna like this movie. But plenty of trusted sources are saying it's great

Honestly I think the Reddit guy is the same guy as the Pale whatever guy who started the leak. You can notice patterns in his writing and he only goes all caps when talking about Martha and how he "FREAKS OUT".

Like which ones? I hate reading reddit.

Even a film like THE DARK KNIGHT wasn't universally praised so I don't understand the worry for people. You will make up your own mind about the film and go forward.

WB is going to keep making these films. This film will make enough money to ensure that. So, what's the damn worry? Make up your mind when you see the thing.

Except Pale said he really liked the movie.

Pale said he saw it while testing it for IMAX. This Reddit guy showed emails from his exhibitor screening.

I really hope so man!

But stuff like this: Lex has Martha Kent kidnapped and tells Superman he'll kill her in an hour if he doesn't go kill Batman. They fight. As Batman is about to finish Clark, Clark mumbles (with a bloody mouth) something about having to save Martha. This weirdly triggers Batman and he FREAKS OUT, thinking it's a reference to his mother. Starts screaming "WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME? HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT NAME?" Lois appears and explains that it's his mothers name and Batman like, completely changes his mind about Superman just based on that. Promises him that 'Martha won't die tonight' and goes off to save her.

Making me really nervous....I wanted the fight to be because they misunderstand each other and hate each others methods and ideals. Not because Superman is forced to...

How come he won't answer my questions?

Where does the Diana scene with her in a blue dress take place?

Why are their two hearings, Finch has different clothes in both scenes

You would have to force Superman to fight someone. He never wanted to fight Batman. Batman has always been the one to hate Superman

From the synopsis provided, I am glad to see Batman is a highly proactive character in BvS.

I am a little worried about Superman, though. It seems he spends most of the movie reacting to events around him, rather than proactively trying to find out who's the bad guy.

Now, of course we have set pics of Clark investigating Batman, which I really hope is in the movie, but I also do hope there is some material about Superman realizing Lex is behind all this.

When is Diana wearing a blue dress? I have only seen the red and the white one.

Good point, I forgot about the two dresses. We actually see in three dresses if I'm correct. One in red, one in white and a white uniform. Was there a blue dress I can't remember?

Guy - if true - is more of a Marvel fan than Dc, thought the film looked bad, didn't like MOS, yet ended up giving the film a 7/10.

That's good news to me

Not to me honestly, IF this guy is for real. If there really is characterization problems with the film, critics are definitely gonna chew into that.

How can people not understand that on top of Lex's manipulation of the situation, that there are still philosophical differences between the two? The party scene between Clark and Bruce when they first meet show this...and that's just for the trailer.

Geez, people.

"Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it. The Bat is dead. Bury it. Consider this mercy." This is even before the big fight. Why else would Superman say this? He already doesn't agree with his methods.

I do find it weird that Bats reacts so strongly to the name Martha though....he shouldn't be triggered so easily at this point in his life/career.

How is it a "known" thing?

Snyder tends to think a lot of things in visuals. Guy draws his own storyboard even. He's a visually talented director, makes great scenes - and it's obvious his focus is on aesthetic and cinematography rather than story flows/construction. He needs a tight script - many shares that same conclusion.

Then again a lot could be missing in a plot summary and goes better in the execution, so I'll judge for myself when I get to watch BvS. For now I'll put my skeptic glasses on.

It might actually blow me away, I certainly hope so.

In the case of Man of Steel we also had people who thought it was great, but it turned out to be a pretty divisive movie. The thing is that WB needed this to be a swing hit if they wanted to build trust into the DC brand, not another divisive movie
