I really liked Lex. Mass murderer. Completely different in public compared to behind closed doors. When he got into the scout ship and the ai told him about all the knowledge of the worlds it had and he told it "teach me" I was like ohhhh shiiiit. You could tell at the end when he was talking to batman that he knows now that someone big is coming. The ship must have told him about it.

Yea she's typical Lois. She's plays a big role. Pushing some plot things forward.

Thanks. Sounds great. A Lex that is totally different in the public eye vs behind closed doors is exactly what I was hoping for.

Man, some of the fanboys here are unreal. Been lurking in this thread/forum for quite a long time after a posting hiatus and Jesus, some of this is nuts. This isn't some sort of DC Studios people, it's Warner Bros. They are clearly going to (and seemingly have always meant to) do their own thing and just cherry pick what they wish to use and what they wish to leave out.

I'll admit it, I'm a Batman fan. Never been that big on Supes. Honestly, didn't even like the Reeve movies. However, being more of a Batman fan, I was sold on the character via Man Of Steel. I enjoyed that movie. They made the character of Superman, for whatever reason, click with me. Maybe it's because I hate people who act like boy scouts, maybe it's because I consider myself a brooding man who see's the world as a general threat full of idiots than a place of hopeful optimism. Who knows? But the point is, I enjoyed MOS.

Going into this flick and not having seen it yet, I like the fact they're seemingly going with the Arkham-styled Batman. It's by far the most famous Batman of the past few years now so why not? And about our resident middle-American alien, I look forward to seeing how they pull off everything I've read. Nothing bothers me in the least because at the end of the day, it is a movie.

If I disagree with what's on screen, I have comics I can go read, I have animated films I can watch, I have the DCAU on DVD that will arguably always be better than anything they ever put out in the form of movies.

Just remember every saga has arguably disappointing films. Hell, even Marvel has had quite a few. Judge how they've treated them once we've seen a more fleshed out package..... Given their slate at this current moment, if compared to a movie, we're about at the 20 minute mark of a 2 and a half hour flick. At least wait until the half way point to make a sound judgment.

Yeah, because a dude went into the specifics of Time travel and physics yesterday.

But yeah, do we see the white eyes on Batman?

For anyone that saw it, did you spot any noticeable other Easter eggs etc throughout the film? I know it was your first viewing and a lot to take in. But was there anything that as a fellow nerd like the rest of us really caught your eye and you were like "oh!"

Supes is gonna have to get a new suit I bet lol.

Not off the top of my head. Most of the Easter eggs/cameos were in your face. The movie paces really fast so it was hard for me to pay attention to the little details.

Yeah I figure on multiple viewings especially bluray DVD release we can really begin to investigate for Easter eggs and nods etc.

They show a fire in Mexico on TV and you see the brief shot of Clark loosening his tie. I don't think there was any more than what was in the trailers.

That's the part I thought he was going to do it! Then booo cut scene lol

Not really an easter egg, but since a lot of people are going to miss it, Snyder lists off a ton of artists/writers at the very end as a 'thank you for your contribution to the lore'. It was a sweet sight to see the student acknowledging his teachers.

Didn't see Mark Waid's name there though. :hehe:

The Batsuit more than makes up for it. Maybe in JL.

Last question, do we see damage on Superman's costume during the Doomsday fight?

He will need a new suit or some patchwork lol

Does Bruce seem like he genuinely changed his view of Superman is the end?
