I'm not just going to sit idly by and watch my favorite character get screwed so easily by Snyder and Batman. To think that we've come to a point where the MCU places greater importance on Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, etc than how the DCEU treats superman.

Each post you make is more dramatic than the one before man. Take a deep breath. These are fictional characters. I understand loving them and being passionate. But there's also being unreasonable and taking it to another level, which you are.

And as seen and said by many others in this thread they also agree. So I'm not the only one seeing it happening from you. So this isn't one poster attacking another, others are noticing the meltdown and overreacting as well.

Superman isn't being treated properly or given any respect!

First DCEU movie is titled Man of Steel and is about Superman. Second movie is Batman v SUPERMAN. Jesus.

I made the mistake of thinking that MOS would be the quintessential film for Superman and got burned when it didn't turn out that way.

I then made the mistake of thinking that BvS would handle superman properly, and as we now know, that's not going to be the case.

I'm not going to make the same mistake again with JL.

Superman, as a character, got screwed by Snyder/DCEU/Batman.

The thing is...we don't know that superman is going to be mishandled in BvS. Even if he dies for a bit, it could still be a solid representation. He's still alive for most of BvS and possibly most of JL. It all depends on what they do with his screen time. I remain hopeful and if they do mishandle him, I'll be disappointed as well.

Until Cavill and WB tell me that Cavill is working out just for his health, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be in JL. If he does die in BvS, there must be a reason, narratively, for this and for him to be in JL.

Why the concept art for JL with Superman? Just to throw people off?! That sounds too damn secretive in my opinion.

Nothing beats the actual experience.

Easy for you to say. As a Batman fan, you're pretty much getting everything that you could possibly want. You've got nothing to lose out when it comes to your favorite characters.

You mean a film that made fans divided on Superman and where you can joke about how he caused more destruction than his villains, along with another film that has him getting his ass kicked by batman before killing him 8n the final act?

The thing is...we don't know that superman is going to be mishandled in BvS. Even if he dies for a bit, it could still be a solid representation. He's still alive for most of BvS and possibly most of JL. It all depends on what they do with his screen time. I remain hopeful and if they do mishandle him, I'll be disappointed as well.

It's the end result and it alone that matters to me on this subject.

You need to relax. I'm a huge Superman fan. I even name my son Ka-El. I'm actually more excited about this movie than when MOS came out. This movie will finally showcase Superman being Superman for 2 years and not a day like in MOS. A true Superman fan will go and support the man in BvS. Relax and go see the movie like everyone else and discuss about it later if it didn't live up to your expectation.

It's because of him being dead while Bruce and Diana being the only ones to go about forming the JL before superman returns that passes me off.
