The trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier was mind-blowing but this shot right here was my favorite shot in the whole trailer.
The Winter Soldier design is first-rate accurate.

This was the perfect shot to end the trailer on, it shows what Cap is up against in a one on one sense.

Prior before seeing the set photos of Winter Soldier, let alone the footage, I didn't think that the Winter Soldier was going to come off as intimidating as some of our past Phase 2 villains due to him not really having powers, but damn, this trailer proved me wrong. He looks to be one of more/intimidating foes of the MCU yet.

Man The Winter soldier sure does look, well perfect in this new trailer. I don't know which scene I liked the most out of the one where he stood in front of the flipped car or the shield catch.

Winter Soldier is already quite possibly the most badass villain that the MCU has ever seen from just that trailer. Everything about him was perfect. A capable threat for Cap...and we haven't even seen full-blown Crossbones, Batroc, or Zola yet.

And I like that they removed those goggles he had in the concept art for the most part. Looked too much like Goblin Jr.

Well it looks like the character of the Winter Soldier has been nailed in every single possible way. Now I'm just hoping they don't make the cardinal sin of killing him. He deserves a story of redemption and, hell, his own movie or TV show. If CA: TWS ends with Bucky off in the middle of the country, making his own path to atone for his half-century of sins, I'm a happy camper.

Visually/action wise, you're right. But we still don't know his purpose in the movie, so its too early to say that they've nailed him in every single possible way. Hopefully, he'll end up as a stronger villain than Red Skull.

But yeah , once the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D gets better and more interesting , they can make reference to his past crimes . For a movie , Feige talks a loooot about possible spin-offs but we didn't see any or we didn't have any annoucement , I wouldn't have such high hopes regarding that . But hell yeah
there's a LOOOOOOT of potential , a TV Show with him and Black Widow would be great , a bit like his comics when it was wrote by Brubaker

I do too but i'm also worried for it because even if Arrow wasn't so awesome when it started , I found it at least interesting and really had some potential , with AoS there is hope but c'mon they have so much they can use and they don't even make it right . I guess we'll have to wait a few more episodes (or seasons ) to have a true GREAT show

I think Winter Solider catches him off guard because he recognizes that it's Bucky. But he actually trying to kill him. So Cap isn't going at him with full force.

The expression on Cap's face during this leads me to believe he already realizes that it's Bucky at this point and he's trying to talk him out of it during this fight

Apparently, you two don't understand that I'm talking about if I were Cap at that moment. And obviously, Cap has the abilities to handle such a situation.

Yeah, but it looks weird to me. Cap is just staring at Winter Soldier doing the knife trick. I understand he might be caught off guard, but he should do something instead of that. Just nitpicking, though. Not a huge deal. At least he ends up blocking the knife.

Maybe Winter Soldier slips the knife out right at that moment out of nowhere, and it surprises Steve.
