Honestly, World Prime would make me think we're doing something pre-DCnU.

So did we ever figure out a new name for the next game? How much working out of set up would we need to do once we do start it? I know it was decided to use DCnU as a basis somehow.

Of all the ideas, it seems like the three with the most positive feedback were: Brave & the Bold, DC: Rebirth, and World's Finest.

As far as how much work you have to do at the start, it just depends on what you want to do. If there's something in the DCnU you don't care for, then figure out a well-written and creative way to change something, then do it. Just don't have it explained away in one paragraph.

So, here's a question based on the ****** way DC is handling it.

Are we starting everything at the same point in time. So if anyone wants to tell an origin story, they need to do it in flashbacks?

I think that'd largely depend on the character. DC's made a point of explaining which comics take place in the past and which take place in the present, and very few of them actually take place in the past.

So, I'd say if you were playing Superman, you'd need to resort to flashbacks.

Supergirl's origin, though, could be told in the present.

I would go with DC: Rebirth then out of the three options. Are we going to have a formal poll or has there been enough discussion to know which one we are doing?

MB and I talked about setting up a poll. He's free to set it up whenever he can with those three options.

I know there are only 6-8 of us who at least post in this thread. If I'm right, that would mean almost everyone has voted so far unless we have some outside of this particular game\thread voting. If we do have some of that, maybe they'll have enough interest to join us once we do get started. Speaking of which, once the name does get decided in the next few days, how long would it be before we do get going?

I abstained from voting because I like all three. But I'm thinking of getting the new RPG started a week from this Friday. October 28th.

If you do get it started then, it will be a nice b-day gift to me. Hopefully by then issue 2 of each of the new 52 has been out to give a slightly better lead to where things are going.

Yeah, by then the second month of the DCnU will be in place. So, that should be enough context to use in the new RPG.

Even if what you want to do isn't exactly canon, **** it. Write a story where something happens and it changes to be canon.

Since mine was the only one change my vote to World's Finest if you wanna do that method Wieg came up with ages ago. Mine would be the only that has that effect since the other two are tied.
