Powers and Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences) Miri was out on her honeymoon when Mongul 2 came crashing through the space shuttle that her and her husband,Kered, was using. In the struggle, Mongul killed Miri’s husband. Miri waited a few days trying to get to another planet. She then decided to commit suicide by bashing her own space helmet. Right before she was successful, a violet ring came to her to offer Miri a spot in the Star Sapphire Corps. She accepted and was one of the many Sapphires fighting off the Black Lanterns.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): Star Sapphires, Teen Titans (future, maybe)

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar. One to explain what you plan to do with the character you've chosen. The other to explain why you've chosen this character. (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?):
Right now the idea is to have her join the Teen Titans. She will have a curiosity of Earth from conversations with Carol Ferris. Miri will also have a belief that the best way to avoid something similar to what Darkseid tried is to fill as many hearts with love instead of whatever the anti-life equation was all about.

Miri stands in front of the Sapphire CPB. Queen Aga’Po walks up to the young Sapphire.

“I sense in your heart that you still desire to be on Earth with Sapphire Jordan-Ferris. Why is this so?”

“I think back to all of those mindless people who were easily controlled by Darkseid. If they had something stronger in their hearts like love, they could have fought it off. As is our unofficial motto, love does conquer all.”

“I would agree with you, Miri. I also sense though that you are a bit curious as to why Jordan-Ferris is our most powerful Sapphire. The best way to understand that is to spend some time on her home world and maybe around her for a time. You can take a temporary assignment to Earth but be ready when we call on you for another assignment.”

Miri smiles from ear to ear. Queen Aga’Po nods and with that Miri flies off towards Earth.

“I think back to all of those mindless people who were easily controlled by Darkseid. If they had something stronger in their hearts like love, they could have fought it off. As is our unofficial motto, love does conquer all.”

“I would agree with you, Miri. I also sense though that you are a bit curious as to why Jordan-Ferris is our most powerful Sapphire. The best way to understand that is to spend some time on her home world and maybe around her for a time. You can take a temporary assignment to Earth but be ready when we call on you for another assignment.”

Miri smiles from ear to ear. Queen Aga’Po nods and with that Miri flies off towards Earth.

Overall, I like the idea of you playing Miri but there are a few things I'd want to see before considering to accept this application. So know that and do not let it make you turn away. I like that you are applying to play Miri, just the application could use some improvement. I'm not rejecting your application, but this is what I want you to do before I give a final verdict on it:

- The format of your sample post is a quick fix, but this is one of the reasons we have it. I want you to re-write your sample post, and add more to it. Make more use of the narration in how you describe what is going on and the actions. There are times where of course a post will not call for grand descriptions and such, but this is a sample post for us to see how you'd potentially write posts. Also, please do not bold the narration font. The default would be best for when you have a bigger and fuller post of text.

- You say that you want to get her to join the Teen Titans. That is one of the established teams, so please make sure you contact the players who are already playing them. Catman_prb, Eddie Brock, Syn (Mercenary), and SenseiofCheese are the current posters playing PC Titan members. Please talk to them if you have any desire in having Miri join the team.

Again, I overall like the application. Just take care of the Sample Post mostly, and if you do want her to join the Teen Titans contact those players. But for the approval process of the application, the Sample Post is the only thing you need to re-do.

Ok, so we are on the same page, you want me to give a good description of Zamaron and the CPB. That should be doable. I was writing the app up with a head cold so any major creativity was hampered. As for the Teen Titans, I can discuss that in this thread with above mention players or we can arrange some sort of PM system.

I know about it, just didn't think about desribing it in my sample post. Oddly enough, from what I've seen of it, there isn't too much to really desribe even though I have yet to read the latest BD issues involving the planet and the Hawks.

Zamaron

Miri stands in front of the Sapphire CPB. It is a bright violet color made of stone standing on a pedestal surrounded by violet crystals. Queen Aga’Po walks up to the young Sapphire.

“I sense in your heart that you still desire to be on Earth with Sapphire Jordan-Ferris. Why is this so?”


Miri walks around looking at the tall violet crystals that makes up most of Zamaron. She thinks carefully on how to answer her leader.

How do I respond without sounding ungrateful for them saving my life? There was so much that happen recently that it is hard to understand it all. The Sapphire Corps were told about the War of Light and what it would lead to but to actually see it is hard to fully grasp. How could all of those people easily submit to serving someone or something they don’t understand or know? Can I understand that living here on Zamaron around my fellow Sapphires and Zamarons?

Everyone who is on the chopping block, keep in mind that your character will not just be up for grabs, you will also receive a strike.

Simple enough.

1st offense is just a warning.

2nd offense and you're barred from picking up a second character, or anyone other than the character you lost for a probationary period of two months. If you've shown you can handle that character again, you can get a second character.

3rd offense and you're barred from applying in this RPG until the next season rolls around.
