Anyone who knows Byrd knows that he's actually one of the nicer people on the board, and the whole expletive-laden abuse thing is just an act played up for comedic effect. Though admittedly to people who DON'T know him that last post could be construed as "rude and mean", I don't think actual hostility was intended.

On an unrelated note, how come the one time I'm way behind on getting started and decide to try a catch-up session before posting, there are vast scrawls and pages upon pages of post rather than just the usual handful?

It's been three weeks since I put up the IC thread! It being the last season and all, people are excited and ready to post...unlike some others I can think of.

Also, I find it funny that no sooner had I read the announcement that our posting limit was being reduced to 5000 and thought, "Well, that isn't TOO unreasonable and dickish", that it was then changed to a much more suitably unreasonable and dickish 1000.
