The "World of Heroes" DC RPG Season IX Signup/OOC Thread

So how far off is the end of the season? And once it ends, do we go straight into a new-continuity DC game?

I'm hoping to end the game sometime in the early to late fall. Then we can take a break for a month or two and then start up with the new DC game.

Would anyone mind if I had Ted Kord killed off in the fight during the Darkseid arc?

I have no qualms, but just realize it'd be his second death in as many seasons. After coming back in season VII and acting as one of the Batmen.

I remember him and I talking about an arc where Booster and Sinestro go looking for Ted's body. It wouldn't have been called the Gold and the Gold

I can't remember. It's been awhile back. I know it involved Jamie Reyes going to the future for some reason and BL never finished it.

I am considering picking up Luthor (I started with him in this game back in 2003 might as well finish with him)...but I am not sure what the previous RPGer had in mind for him...and if that involved anyone else.

That being said I do have a good idea for him in terms of how to wrap up the character for the final season.

I will see if I can get a post up today but I've finally gotten around to working on issue 2 of my 6 issue mini-series based on my CAH character and do not want to lose that groove I have at the moment. So when I'm "good" for the day I will work on a post. Don't know when that comes I'm really on a roll. XD

So....is this game pretty much dead? I mean, it's become a shell of its former self. Most everyone involved in the RPGs can't/won't play, and those that do are dragging major ass. Put me down among those.

I mean, we've had three IC posts during the past week. Three. Back in the day, that used to be one day of RPG activity.

I really don't know what to do. Tried recruiting, tried being mean, good, indifferent, crying doom, etc. But nothing seems to work.

I don't know if it's the RPG that's changed, or those of us who play.

But maybe it's time to put this baby to bed. A mercy killing since this ***** is limping on three broken legs.

My issue is that, ever since stuff changed at work a few months back, I really don't have the time to post in the day anymore. And I usually don't have the energy to post when I'm home, except on the weekends. And the next three weeks or so are going to be even more hectic because we're going to be working on the house.

As for the game, I don't think anyone is posting alongside anyone else. Posting is always more active when players can respond to each other every few minutes.


****, it's the last season. Maybe I'll just pick up a villain and start killing heroes off. That might get some team ups going.

I think that's the downside to the whole thing about no big arcs. They always peter out and stall games horribly, but the beginning is always active and jumping. It's just that we can't close worth a ****.
