Let's see, other than Damian Wayne being awesome...

Blackest Night has come (and when I say that, I mean has long overstayed its mother****ing welcome at this point. This isn't Blackest Night, its the longest mother****ing night in history)

Did I mention Damian Wayne was awesome?

Oh, and the various Lantern Corps have figured out that their powers colors combined can summon Captain Planet harm the Black Lanterns. There are hopes that this might indicate the end to the Blackest Night arc, but those of us who've been avoiding "power ringing" their character long abandoned hope of this **** ending.

Let's see, something about Damian being awesome...

Harlequin's a Star Sapphire, Joker's part of Sinestro Corps, Superman has gone multi-dimentional Super Saiyajin, Nightwing is doing his acrobat thing with parademons...

Damian is awesome...

Oh, and Byrd's a *****e. That pretty much sums it up for right now.

Yeah, apologies about this arc. I've said it before, but I feel like we've let Watchman down, as he's been intricately planning this arc for seasons now, and it's ended on a bit of a damp squib. I'll see about doing my bit to help nudge it across to the finish line.

I know I need to post to keep the Superman/Darkseid fight going. With Superman main-lining the Source he's got something in store to more or less wrap everything up in the next one or two posts, but I was hoping to give the Lanterns a little more time to finish their thing before dropping the hammer.

Well, seeing as how Damian's been fighting Black Lantern Azrael, and BL Al Pratt was sent to fight Barry...

...and I...sort of assumed the Lantern fight in space was against a bunch of zombies that reformed unless their rings were destroyed...

DC never definitely answered whether or not Jean-Paul Valley was alive or dead, he just randomly showed up as a Black Lantern in Blackest Night.

In keeping with that, I never made any reference to how Azrael became a BL. So hopefully I didn't screw anything up by that, but I wanted it to be flexible so that any explanation would serve his appearance. Or none at all.
