Holy moley.

PWInsider.com reports that Ken Kennedy is scheduled for shoulder surgery this Friday. Kennedy injured his shoulder during a house show match with Shelton Benjamin earlier this month, and has been working lightly ever since.

Kennedy was diagnosed with a torn labrum and damage to his rotator cuff by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama. After two weeks of rehab and no progress, it was determined he would require surgery.

He is expected to miss four to six months after the procedure, which will be performed by Dr. Andrews.

-- Diamond Dallas Page recently spoke to the Daytona News Journla about his yoga program and his past wrestling angles gone wrong. "I do know that Shawn Michaels is doing it," Page said about wrestlers using his yoga program. "Cody Rhodes is in the book. There are a couple of other guys. I'm about to make a huge impact in MMA." Page says he wishes his feud with Undertaker was as good as the current angle with Edge. "It was stupid planning by me. I should have seen that. If I'm the heel, and he doesn't sell, it doesn't get over. It was a stage in my career. Taker's a great worker. I wish to God he gave me one-third of what he gives Edge.”

I wonder if his program with Taker had to do with Vince wanting to make an example out of the WCW wrestlers when he first purchased the company?

Fook. That's Cena, Orton and Kennedy out now for months.:csad:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Orton back earlier than reported. Remember there wasn't any kind of news surrounding his motorcycle accident. So I wouldn't be surprised if he made a shocking return in some fashion and feud with Punk.

I think it was more to do with this.

THE WIT AND WISDOM OF DDMe (one in a series)

DDMe was known for overly scripting his matches, and I mean that literally – he would prepare multi-page scripts laying out matches in minute detail. It was too much even for those who preferred that sort of thing. For those who liked calling matches in the ring, it was excruciating.

The late Chris Benoit liked calling his matches in the ring. At one WCW PPV, Benoit was scheduled for a three-way dance with DDMe and Raven. DDMe had prepared copies of his script – which was no thicker than a small town’s Yellow Pages – and collared Raven, but Benoit was nowhere to be found. Like most of the boys, Benoit dreaded working with DDMe and was pointedly avoiding the script read-through.

DDMe’s strategy: Stake out the runway under the stands and wait for Benoit to walk by. Benoit would strip to his dress slacks and prowl the arena’s catacombs on PPV days while drinking an endless cup of coffee. If you stood in the runway and didn’t move, eventually Benoit would run into you.

When Benoit finally happened upon DDMe, DDMe thrust a copy of his script at Benoit. Benoit – in one smooth motion – grabbed the script, shredded it, and just kept on walking, leaving a shower of confetti and a dumbfounded DDMe in his wake.

The match got called in the ring. It was great.

When DDMe went to WWE, Triple H begged him – BEGGED HIM – not to foist scripts upon his opponents. They’ll eat you alive here if you do that, Trips said.

So one day Trips walks into catering and sees DDMe presenting a script to (drum roll) THE UNDERTAKER. Needless to say, it was not well received. Triple H was beside himself.

But that’s DDMe. Nothing is more dangerous than an idiot oblivious to his own stupidity.

Yeah I know but I thought that they would have brought him back at SS to interfere during the Batista/ Cena match. I'm pessimistic as to whether Punk is going to win at Unforgiven too. It would be a huge seal of approval from WWE to let him retain the belt. I think if orton does come back sooner rather than later Batista will win at Unforgiven and Orton will feud with him.

decent read...but a bit juvenile referring to page as DDMe....it's not better than the toolbox I read who refers to Cena as a woman in all his columns...Criticizing is one thing, being petty about it is another

Damn it, Damn it, Damn it...Why is Kennedy so injury prone? :csad:

3 Scramble matches on the one night, nice way to further cheapen the impact, of something with little build up

I personally think it's a pretty good idea. Just think, if 'RAW' was the only one to have the Scramble Match, it'd probably be HHH/Khali "Last Man Standing"/"Falls Count Anywhere" and I'm not sure about 'ECW', probably would've been Hardy/Henry again in "Extreme Rules" or something(which would've been fine either way). Anyhow, I like this idea because it makes for the matches themselves to be 20 minutes of guarenteed solid wrestling. That may not be the way most of you may feel about it, but I personally like it.

Since I missed the segment on RAW where Rey was announced, was he shown? If not I think it'd be a great swerve. Rey's music hits and he is the last competitor, but he doesn't come out, turns out Kane did so much damage Rey couldn't make it. Then Orton's music hits and he takes his place.

For all the talk of torturing and scaring Rey, it just seems to early for him to jump right back in. Not counting that it'd be in a multi-man match rather than a one on one revenge match against Kane.

Christian Cage, Sting, Team 3D, and Kevin Nash contract with TNA expires before the end of this year. Sting's contract is believed to be close to finalized as he has stated in the past that he would not appear on television unless his contract extension is resolved. He appeared at the TV tapings this week.

The door is still open for Christian Cage to make a WWE return according to sources within the company. He left on good terms and would be able to make his return with a storyline involving Edge. He has told friends that he's happy with his current situation in TNA, which is what he said regarding WWE before his departure.

i'd love to see cage come back as a face to fued with edge, play it off as the brother who got left behind

and of course i'd love sting to make a wwe apperance

I'd like Christian to be bought in as "help" for Edge....something like Edge doesn't need La Familia all he needs is his "brother"....

So, we have our Scramble matches:

7925268

7940062

7938564

The line-ups aren't bad, I must say...

IMO they only put one credible threat to the champ in each match. IF Rey does show up, him and Kane will take eachother out. Punk's beat JBL how many times now? Batista on the other hand is on top of the world after beating Cena last PPV. With SD I see Jeff being the only possibly one to hold the belt belt other than HHH. On ECW Matt's the only one who could possibly beat Henry, and it's a good set up as they've made Henry into an invincible one on one opponent. Matt could TOF him after Henry gets done messing someone else up.

I'd like for Punk retained, and then both Hardy's won their respective belts and celebrate like Eddie and Benoit did. Tho I see Batista, HHH, and Matt winning.

Very, very hot Candice shoot. It's funny, at first I thought she was alright, but nothing to go crazy over. Then somewhere along the line I started to think she was one of the sexier diva's. Tho in the 3rd pic it does look like her breasts are trying to escape eachother heh.

Christian Cage coming back would be awesome, I just hope he's used right this time if he does come back. He was always treated like Edge's runty brother, but Christian has really come into his own in TNA when given the ball. He's proved he can hold a belt and look credible. In WWE he was throwing tantrum's like a 5yr old child, and getting the crap kicked outta him.

Several sources including The UK’s Sun is reporting that several top WWE Superstars are working hurt right now and won’t take any time off for fear of losing their main event spot.

Edge is taking some time off to sell the angle from The Undertaker but also to heal up after the recent promo time allowed him not to have to wrestle on TV besides the Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam. Edge is said to be a man who is constantly in some kind of pain but doesn’t want to give up that main event spot.
Quote:
The Undertaker is also working hurt as he returned from a knee injury early for SummerSlam. One more knee injury for The Dead Man and he could have to call it quits or work a more limited schedule than what he is already working.

The word going around is that the injury bug and wear and tear of WWE’s grueling schedule is taking its toll on several WWE Superstars and not just Edge, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and John Cena.
