The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

Styles has come a hell of a long way from stumbling through promos in Impact over a decade ago.

Wrestlemania from the PC is going to be weird.

It can be very interesting if done right. They can really ratchet up the intensity, to make it more cerebral and less playing up to the crowd. I'm thinking for some reason of the last fight between Rocky and Apollo.

It can be awesome. But they have to do it right. The right amount of self-deprecation, and true kayfabe.

I hope they keep it dark around the empty seats and have only the ring and ramp well lit. Looked weird so bright around Stone Cold.

I'm watching clips of Raw now

Bianca and Sasha look great without makeup

My other idea for Mania would be to have the wrestlers not working the show and and their girlfriends and wives spread out to make an audience, so that you at least have people there reacting to what's going on in the ring.

Corney? That you?

blacking out the seats and just having the lighting on the ring would give it more of a "main event" feel. like the spotlight is just on the wrestlers in the ring.

it does look weird when you see them performing in front of an empty audience. but I guess the show must go on.

I just hope they don't change any of the planned outcomes due to moving the event to a more low-key setting.

still want Drew to win, and if he does, it does kind of suck he won't be able to experience the energy of a live crowd celebrating his victory. but, it is what it is.

I think you can save Drew winning the title for Summerslam. Have Brock screw him and save the moment for Summerslam, with a big ole crowd.

That won't happen, because they don't want more then 10 people in any one place at once. I liked the idea of filling the crowd with wrestlers. From the main roster, NXT and the PC. Imagine Big E eating everything and having a great time. Imagine Otis watching Dolph and Mandy the entire time, before finally snapping and kicking his ass.

That is what I am really hoping for

Also I approve of this

Next question are any of the WWE Films decent? Other than The Call and Fighting with my Family. I have seen those.

If they do something like that it would feel more like when South Park was making fun of the WWE.

They can sidestep that by just making it about the matches and not cutting promos, which is more about the audience reaction than anything.

The only drawback I see about a quieter match is hearing all their audibles. Which is fun if you're a student of the business, but for the mainstream audience they may not react well to it.

Seeing as how this is pro-wrestling, most of the guys likely have both. Should make for an interesting night nonetheless.

The promos on Raw really did remind me of that South Park episode. It's just weird without a crowd and in a "small" building

Now that I think about it an empty arena might not be such a bad thing when the Goldberg vs Roman match happens.

Think they'll pipe in Goldberg chants?

One report has Wrestlemania probably being postponed and held in June, in The Garden in NY. Moving it to the Performance Center was a move for insurance purposes with the Tampa arena. Saves WWE money.

The other report says WWE just wants to get Mania over with as soon as possible (PC) and start to plan out how to do shows with no crowd for a quite a while. Preparing to possibly have a couple Months ahead with no crowd.
