I hope that is not the last time NXT does In Your House. It may not be an all time Classic Takeover like New York, New Orleans, Portland or Dallas, but It's one of the most pure fun ones they've ever done with the IYH Set, the peephole bit during the Lee vs Gargano match, Strong and Fish getting kidnapped while Adam Cole is laid out in a windshield, and the fun as heck commercial homages to Old In Your House shows. Add in a fantastic main event and I had a great night.

It however, most certainly had an all time main event.

That really was a 10/10 main event. I'd even say best match of 2020 so far too (with the Boneyard Match right next to it).

The women triple threat matches are steadily becoming better than the guys' ones.

I wouldn't say that. The last two big ones (WM 35 and Last year's Survivor Series) were rather large let downs imo. This one, however was fantastic.

I am not sure if it is the WWE match of the year so far or not, and this might all be a moot point come next Friday. When Bryan faces AJ.

That is the thing. Io and Rhea don't even hate each other. They both just truly want to be champion. If that means destroying their opponent, so be it. And that feels like something missing in a lot of big matches on the main roster. That need to be champion. It is one of the reasons I really love watching Drew right now. Being champion really means something to him. It is why I really hope Bryan wins the IC title on Friday. He will make it feel like it matters to him imo.

Woods is better than Kofi and could be an effective champion just based on personality alone. Kofi isn't on the level of either of his partners to me, but I still like the dude.

Turning Woods heel would be pretty sweet I think. He's a good enough performer that I believe he could be the rare really good chicken **** heel because I can only imagine how amazing Woods could have been as the fluke heel WWE Champion over Mahal. What with his actual promo skills and, you know, talent (Sorry Jinder).

TakeOver was a solid show but it's definitely one of the worst TakeOvers ever That atrocious Adam Cole vs Velveteen Dream match blew me away. Never expected such a turd there.

Balor vs Priest was the best match on the card.

Lee vs Gargano was good but not as good as I expected.

Ciampa vs Kross was very effective.

The tag match was average and I just expect more from the women.

Io vs Rhea vs Charlotte was good but I've seen a lot better from them.

The throwback segments were amazing and the Code Orange performance worked for me as do all these NXT musical performances because it reminds me of the vibe WWE had when I loved it most. More Motorhead and Ice T less Pitbull and Flo Rida.

Jeebus that Cole vs Dream match was awful. I'm weary of Loomis in WWE because I thought all he had in impact was a good gimmick that would work well if the guy behind it was good. Cody Rhodes would be a ton better at the gimmick than Shaw (Loomis) was in Impact. Cody was better as a gimmick guy than the more traditional wrestler thing he does now actually.

Dream is not NXT Champion level yet imo. Looking past the fact that he might be a pedophile, he isn't ready to carry the strap. If they want to take the belt off Cole, Finn or Lee are far better options imo. Kross just showed up, but he looks streets ahead of Dream as well.

I think the way they did it was so Io can beat both of them in singles match, potentially when crowds are back. But yes, it is all kinds of messy. At least the match was awesome and the Queen is finally the Queen.

I agree with you on Big E and Kofi. They work their asses off, and just because everyone isn't throwing a pipe bomb doesn't make them complacent. I will say though while I adore Xavier, I think he is the most "tag team" wrestler of the group. I can't really imagine him as a worker's title champ. And that is what the CW title is. Also before moving it to NXT, winning the CW was like a burial.

Disagree on Dream, but to each his/her own. Not sure what's going on with the pedophile thing, but I would be surprised they kept him in a program with the champ if they thought it was a possibility it was real...but this is the WWE.

I'll just be glad if this means Charlotte is off my TV screen for an extra night.

Like someone said above, Woods has personality and ability on the microphone coupled with enough talent to go in the ring to be a title holder. I mean, lets be honest here, Braun Stroman is the champ right now. Chris Benoit had zero mic skills and was heavyweight champ. I could go on and on with limited guys who got a shot holding the big belt that were "worse" than Xavier Woods.

I like Woods, he can talk, decent in the ring, we'll have to see how he moves after returning from the Achilles injury. I could see him as CW champ. Or even a run with the IC or US belts if given a chance, his new day partners have both held both of those titles if I remember correctly. though I cannot wait to see AJ vs Bryan for the IC strap.

I think the last three days of WWE programming (SD, IYH and RAW) made me realize just how much I love women's wrestling in the WWE. It might be my favorite thing going in wrestling at the moment. Well, other then Bryan. Because always Bryan.

I take the women more seriously and have higher expectations of them than guys I think. Go back and tell me that would happen during the dark age of of irrelevance that was 2007-2013 before AJ Lee's push really kicked off in the build to SummerSlam.

Thank goodness for Impact and Shimmer getting the ball rolling because the NXT division owes a lot to them.

On Impact. they teased Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, EC3 and Heath Slater last night. Deonna Purazzo debuted last night.

The commentary during the FTR/B&B match felt like they were taking shots at their own product. They've built their division on flippy **** and they then just swoon over oldschool style tag wrestling, it really felt like they were crapping on their own product leading up to this.

I really like Hager in AEW. He seems the perfect fit for the company. He stands out, doesn't get lost in the shuffle of a bloated roster.
