The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

Orange Cassidy got pulped.

Hager beating up Cassidy is like beats up a 15 year old version of himself :funny:

I want to see Escobar's NXT cartel take on Lucha House Party.

Oh great, take the guy with ideas away and put the "yes man" in charge.

Well having three semi-enjoyable shows in the WWE was nice. We had a good run. New Japan is back. Thank the maker.

I have leaned more towards AEW than NXT as of late, only watching Takeovers. I have also been watching Impact more as of late.

RAW was still RAW as far as I could tell before I left and just recently came back. Heyman made no difference that I could make out. It certainly wasn't like Heyman's run on SmackDown or SmackDown's creative renaissance from the second brand extension beginning until the first shake up. It was just another damn show in my opinion. RAW won't get any worse I would guess. The name Heyman fools people I think and that's what the hiring of Paul was designed to do along with Bischoff before he got fired. Blow smoke up asses and create buzz for the same show I was just watching before you created those new positions.

I marked a little just seeing Sasha and Bayley tonight. God, I love them so much, and I enjoyed Bayley's promo as well.

The Otis and Mandy thing is totally clicking for me just based on the limited exposure I've had to it. Corbin actually is a decent choice for a feud I think; I know that will be an unpopular take. Oh, the denim cutoffs look gets an A+ from me.

AJ vs Bryan pretty dang good I'd say and damn that video package was unbelievable.

Hyping up Edge vs Orton with that tagline is amusing. I could name a ton better matches than that WrestleMania 36 match, and I'm one of the few who loved the match.

Someone wrote into F4W about the Edge/Orton "Greatest Match Ever" tagline. It is clearly a tagline for a Saudi Arabia show. You know like how they had the Greatest Royal Rumble, the tournament to crown the Best in the World, the Tag Team World Cup, etc. It is hilarious that they simply kept the title and build up without doing the show. :funny:

I like the push of Crews and Lashley as well. Rest of the show has been lackluster at best.

Yeah but what was Lashley doing before the McIntyre feud? That awful feud with Rusev involving Lana and Liv Morgan.

Let's not forget they outed Liv Morgan as Lana's lesbian mistress, meaning she was the other woman with Lana while she was supposed to be married to Rusev. And because Lana rejected Liv Morgan, that somehow makes Liv Morgan a hero?!

Frankly, outside of Drew McIntyre, Heyman has done an awful job captaining Raw.

You will hardly get better things when they all have to be presented and produced to one man...vince mcmahon.
When planned storylines get dropped because suddenly vince doesnt want them anymore, when a characters gets dropped because suddenly vince thinks it takes too long or isnt good enough...you cant do a good job.

But having someone who at least tries it, is better than having a bruce prichard who has no mind on his own.
In the end i dont think anybody really will make a big change, a change the main roster absolutly needs...unless vince himself steps away.
They have to create raw and smackdown that pleases one person only instead of their fanbase...that cant work.

That was a lot of Vince.

That said, Heyman was never perfect. But RAW was much better under him imo. He helped make Asuka legit again, Black was being built up nicely, Rollins had been revitalized, and Zelina was stealing the show every week. Also I feel like Edge and Orton's story was really, really good until the Mania match derailed it.

I don't know if it was good under Heyman, but I don't think it will be better under Prichard. How can Prichard even handle such a workload?

The story about Shawn Michaels getting in a fight with a backstage producer, and Shawn being on the side of BLM is probably my favorite Shawn Michaels story now.

People forget WWF was putting out great top teir stuff from August 1999 until July 2001 with Kreski and later Gewitz I think. Creative could theoretically be fine even though it won't be.

People have had crazy work loads before and produced better TV than the Heyman era of RAW. I was reading nor hearing buzz for the shows at all and yet Heyman leaving is some tragedy. I'm not buying it. Ruining SmackDown in 2017 and cancelling the amazing Talking Smack that's a tragedy. That had the whole fan community upset. This is like whatever. We were getting better **** on RAW in 2017 well before this executive producer stuff. Hell, the supposed great hope Otis was under Bischoff and Prichard so how come McIntyre nor Black or whomever else was Heyman's guys or girls were as talked about? I don't. even want blame Paul but do we really want to pretend this period actually was that great? Doesn't seem like it outside of the stuff setting up WrestleMania 36. I tapped out during Heyman's run and I barely heard anyone talk about RAW as something I was missing out on. With all due respect to Darth, he's the only person I know of who acted like this was great stuff outside of Simon Miller, and he's just generally positive.
