That was a fun match and Asuka winning was the right call, she looked really sharp and the tease of an Asuka vs Stephanie singles match was exciting! Hopefully Asuka wins the Queen of the Ring and faces Iyo at SummerSlam.

Good match between AJ and JD, I think AJ should win the Intercontinental title and take it back to the workhorse days, he's still excellent in the ring and there's plenty of talent for him to defend it against,

The Goldberg match was inevitable. I'd have preferred Gunther vs Zoidberg lol. But Gunther is honestly the perfect heel to retire Goldberg for good.

Decent main event when the 3 big guys were smacking the tar out of each other, but the finish was beyond predictable, and stupid to have Reed eat the pin. Cody running in is whatever, but it would have made sense for Seth and Co to attack him, Reed to hit him with a couple of Tsunamis to get some heat back, and have Cody go into the match with Jey, also banged up.

I thought the 1st hour was really good, but things wobbled a bit after AJ vs JD, and then fell off after Liv's unfortunate injury.

Agreed, I mean Cody’s the uber face, so what does beating his injured buddy do for him? A match with Reed would have elevated him as you say, but I guess Trips was worried about the next round of whining from Rikishi if his boy didn't win.
