If Roman doesn't wrestle, I could see Penta in that tag match, as he's embroiled with Seth's faction

I know Roman week be filming Street Fighter at some point soon

Well it's Penta & Sami vs The Brons tonight so something could evolve from that, especially if Gable isn't back to do the mask vs mask match.

Oh, he got that role? Who's he playing?

I honestly already forgot about LA Knight lol… But wouldn’t it make sense for him to fight Reed first? I mean I get that Rollins is the end game but if you keep having Reed/Steiner just jump people without giving them singles matches you do exactly what I was afraid of and water that faction down to Seth with two lackey bodyguards…

And if they jump back to Knight that leaves Punk kinda flapping in the wind with no rematch with Cena… HHH said at the presser that was the last Cena/Punk match and Cody already said he gets a Title shot at Summerslam…

I’m not going to bother thinking about Roman until something is made official… Saw a stat that he only wrestled 3 times last year, he’s already wrestled 5 times this year, SummerSlam would make sense but it’s no guarantee…

I haven’t heard anything about Drew yet either but I assume he’s not gonna be out for a long time, they made it sound like he was banged up not injured with anything specific that would keep him out long term…

Priest is about as interesting as plain toast but I’ll take it considering a week ago it seemed like they had no plan for Black… I would hope he would win because him taking an L to Priest wouldn’t help him at all, Priest isn’t the kind of talent that can elevate you in a loss…

Lol I was thinking Knight because Seth needs someone to beat until he cashes in, but they could split this all into singles matches as I get your point, it could be Seth vs Punk, Knight vs Reed and Bron vs Roman, if they really want to elevate them from being Seth's version of Southern Justice.

I think it's the other way around, Roman had 6 matches last year and 3 this year, the Netflix debut, the Rumble and Wrestlemania. I guess he could miss SummerSlam but I feel they need to follow up on Wrestlemania, otherwise it's turning into a Cena/Rock situation.

As well as healing up they should want to have a storyline ready for Drew, I can't see them going back to him and Priest for a rubber match.

I think the way Priest has been positioned over the last year makes Black feel more important if they feud, and I actually think the matches could be good. Ultimately I'd have Black go over Killings and Priest and once Jacob gets the US title back, I'd build towards Fatu vs Black.

Yall are hilarious.

Pro wrestling will do that to you man, trying to make sense of the insane! 😵‍💫 🥴

As a fan of Jade, I'm kind of blown away that she's sticking to her current style. She moves so unnaturally, that trying to be a pure athlete in the ring does not suit her. She should take on the hoss role. Beat people up with simple power moves. It's hard to have a bad match with Asuka, but she did it.

Tony Khan already did that for over 2 years, and she never improved at even doing simple power moves.

Jade vs. Tiff has to be about Naomi. Which means months of Jade chasing. Can I just get another Iyo title defense please?

This is another reason why I can't screw with Triple H.

You go to all that trouble of building up Iyo on the Road to Mania and having her in the best match on the card at Night 2, just to NOT do anything with her since.

That's stupid on his part.

Hunter hear me out.

I'll take as much Rhea as I can get. Do you hear that reaction she gets? And the woman can work.

She's mega over without a doubt and I agree she's good in the ring, but when you're that over you don't need to constantly be in title matches, look at Punk, in the 2 years he's been back he's had one title match, he doesn't need to hog the title scene.

Iyo is probably the 2nd most over woman on the roster, she was red hot coming out of Mania, give her some other challengers like Asuka, Becky, Stephanie; even Lyra, instead of the same rinse and repeat, Cody had to wait a whole year for his rematch, Rhea had her shot less than 3 months ago.

Just read a report that Roman doesn’t come back until Survivor Series… Yeah I did have it switched it was 6 times last year, 3 times so far this year… Guess it could be Roman/Punk/Sami Vs. The Incredible Flying Seth’s in War Games…

I know I’m alittle hard on Priest, he’s a good solid worker… He just bores me to death on the mic… But HHH and the Front Office view him as a lower level Main Eventer, so Black feuding with him does elevate him in that sense..

Updated list of Cena's remaining dates, he's not going to be involved much in the build to SummerSlam.

* July 18: WWE SmackDown (San Antonio, TX)
* August 1: WWE SmackDown (Newark, NJ)
* August 2/3: WWE SummerSlam (Newark, NJ)
* August 8: WWE SmackDown (Montreal, QC, Canada)
* August 22: WWE SmackDown (Dublin, Ireland)
* August 29: WWE SmackDown (Lyon, France)
* August 31: WWE Clash in Paris (Paris, France)
* October 11: WWE Crown Jewel: Perth (Perth, Australia)

If Roman isn't back until Survivor Series that's ridiculous, but it bares out the theory I read that Seth vs Roman is penciled in for Wrestlemania 42, I definitely see them captaining respective teams at War Games. If this is true then I can see Punk vs Seth main eventing night one of SummerSlam in a big stipulation match.

I'm ambivalent when it comes to Priest, he's a decent performer, just hasn't stood out as a personality, but I do think him and Black will have a strong striking match, and it could be highly beneficial for Black longer term.

Raw is on right now because they have to tape the 4th of July Smackdown afterwards.

At this point Roman is just a special attraction, he’s not even a part-timer… As I’ve said before, Punk/Roman is the biggest box office match they can do but the best story they can tell is Seth/Roman… So many long term storyline beats they can hit and it’s 2 of the best in the world… They are the Hogan/Macho Man of this era IMO…

Cody/Cena is locked in, Seth/Punk gives them another blockbuster match for one of the biggest shows of the year…

Obviously I’m a big Aleister Black fan but I’m not even pressing for him to be World Champion or anything, I’d like to see him be in that Damien Priest type role, low level Main Eventer that gets decent pushes and has strong rivalries… So hopefully a feud with Priest could lead to that…

Finn/JD won the Tag Titles just now, the Judgment Day continues to limp along… sigh…

So Ludwig Kaiser has replaced Chad Gable in the role of El Grande Americano, which makes no sense seeing as Kaiser is German.

Rusev and Sheamus was the meat slapper everyone excepted, big win for Rusev.

Fatal 4-Way tag team match at Evolution after Roxy was made Raquel's new Championship partner, there'll be a challenger from Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

The #1 contenders Battle Royal having a winner get a shot at Clash in Paris is a decent idea, but I've got an unfortunate theory on why it's Clash and not SummerSlam. Feels a waste of Stephanie Vaquer though.

I'd agree they are the Hogan/Savage of this generation, and it's a fair point that Roman has practically slipped into Taker's old special attraction role.

Yeah, and at least Seth and Punk will actually deliver a great match, I'm guessing Last Man Standing or maybe 'I Quit', or perhaps a Falls Count Anywhere.

I think Black can be exactly that, a supplemental main event guy, like Priest and Knight, not a constant fixture, but can get in the mix when required.

I think they've had to stall things due to Dom and Liv's injuries.

Always makes me laugh seeing Seth wearing leather in the damn summertime.
