The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

Along with hilarious name mispronunciation, Santino's greatest gift to the business! 😜 in truth Ariana actually has a bit of a Chelsea Green style nack for comedy that could help her going forward.

No mas Santos Escobar en la WWE.

(He has chosen not to sign any new contract offers the WWE has offered to him so he's now a free agent).

I liked Santos. He's great in the ring, solid on the mic, and had a good look imo. I think the reason he never connected with fans is because he never won matches. Everyone knew he was gonna take the L almost every time he came to the ring. His victories were always months apart at best.

I think he might be a good fit in AEW, let him put on some bangers. He'll be a solid hand wherever he goes.

The Hardy Boys win the NXT Tag Team titles from the dreadful Dark State.

Showdown was a good show with spot on booking. 👍

NXT is always promoting their women's division as the best so they had to win, especially when you look at the teams, but for once it wasn't the women stealing the show, it was a solid match but had a few miscues. The men's Survivor Series match was also solid and built around the developing feud between Ricky Saints and Trick, which I think will lead to Mike Santana winning the TNA World title at Bound for Glory.

The Hardys winning the tag titles can only help the division as all the younger teams can learn from working with them, and they're still massively over.

Match of the night though was Ethan Page vs Mustafa Ali, just a fantastic contest with both guys on their A game, Page has progressed so much, he could easily be on the main roster as Intercontinental or US Champ, i hope he isn't left in NXT forever as the vet who can be player coach. I can also see why Shawn was against Ali's release, he's a real talent, hopefully these 2 get to run it back at Halloween Havoc.

Zelina posted this, on her way to Australia, she hasn't been on TV for a couple of months, I wonder if she might get involved in Black's match with Priest, surely they haven't had her fly all that way for nothing.

So PWINSIDER is reporting that Santos Escobar is back with WWE.

Matt Cardona will have a match on WWE programming for the first time in a few years next week. Knowing how they've been treating the past WWE histories of TNA wrestlers, it's likely that Vic Joseph will mention that Cardona is a two time IC Champion and former Tag Team Champion with Brian Myers.

The Inspiration came out to their old WWE theme as did Mara Sade in the Women's match last night. Speaking of that match, it was a good match, but would have been more interesting if Lash Legend was in it, because it would make for some interesting in ring work if she went up against Sade. The option would be that one of them tags out, but what would have happened if they were the last two standing? Actually a bit surprised that Sade comes back to NXT so soon after her release.

I don't think Indi Hartwell or Nic Nemeth are ready to come back.

People are overlooking the fact that one of the benefits of the NXT relationship with TNA is that former WWE wrestlers in TNA can appear and their past in the WWE can be directly mentioned.

Heyman loves Ali as well. Wanted him in the main event scene.

That's 2 of the biggest voices in the company, hopefully he gets another shot in WWE as he's got all the tools from what I've seen.

Their story coming into NXT was that the NXT tag team titles were the only tag team titles that they had never won in WWE but came close the last time against Fraxiom.

And they will defend both titles this weekend at Bound For Glory against the Dudleys.

Forgot that Smackdown was early this morning because of Australia. Raw will be the same.

Zelina turned heel and is with Aleister Black now.

I forgot the massive time difference even put it on super early here as well. I'll watch it tonight, good move for Zelina, she's been teasing the darker gimmick for a while, and she'll boost Black as well, from promos to presentation.

I thought she surely hadn't flown all the way out there for nothing lol
