Report: WWE Star Soon To Be Done With Company

by Justin LaBar

October 11, 2011

F4Wonline is reporting that the talk backstage is that John Morrison will not be re-signing with WWE when his contract expires very soon.

The feeling is that both Morrison and WWE have had enough working together and are ready to move on without each other.

Report: Jim Ross Firing Not In Script, Show Re-Written

by Justin LaBar

October 11, 2011

Jim Ross being called in to the ring and told he was "fired" and then tipped his hat and walked out was an unplanned segment for Ross according to F4Wonline.

They are reporting that the segment of John Laurinaitis "firing" Ross wasn't in the script. It has been said that JR's wife was sitting in the front row and could be seen getting very excited when her husband was getting in the ring and then had no idea that being "fired" was taking place on that night.

As he normally does, Ross has been answering questions with fans on Twitter and has stated that it was "embarrassing."

Regarding last night's show, it's said that what ended up airing was almost nowhere near what was originally wrote. Everything on last night's show was re-written more than once.

Exclusive: News on Chris Jericho & Mick Foley's WWE Returns

by Nick Paglino

October 10, 2011

A key WWE insider confirmed with WrestleZone this evening that both Chris Jericho and Mick Foley are expected to return to WWE in some capacity between now and WrestleMania, but neither will be "full time, on the road, weekly characters for more than one storyline." This news comes despite Jericho Tweeting yesterday that he had "no plans" to return to WWE.

According to our key insider, "HHH has taken a very active role in pushing (WWE Chairman) Vince (McMahon) into forgetting about the past arrangements where talent had to be full time. HHH has pushed for certain valuable superstars like Foley and Jericho to be brought back for selective runs leading into big shows like SummerSlam and WrestleMania."

Added our insider, "Vince feels very good about The Rock's part time position, and also Stone Cold Steve Austin's part time position through Tough Enough. The use of those legends has opened Vince's eyes to a new way of doing business."

That's messed up. If I was JR i'de grab the mic and say "**** you and the wwe". Yeah he'd get fired but at least he would have his pride in tact.

even if it was unscripted, I hope JR's firing is part of the storyline. :(

My friend is a lucky bastard, he got to wrestle Rhino last week!

Poor Jim.

Poor JoMo. Gonna mess up his career over a chick.
I thought the Hardys were the modern masters of crash and burn, but this is just sad.

Morrison was a talented performer who was THIS CLOSE to the main event. And he's gonna throw it away over a chick who has been with Batista and Mike Knox? DUMB. Melina's stuff can't be THAT good to throw away a career on.

Man, it's sad so much time effort and potential thrown in the trash. Someone needs to tell Morrison he can get another lady, but he'll never get another shot at buildng up a career in the WWE. Maybe he can polish some TNA rust while he wonders what if? when it comes to WWE gold

Joy. :whatever:

JoMo is one of a handful of guys they can actually make into a star, losing him would be dumb.

Brock Lesnar Comments On Whether He Will Ever Appear For WWE Again
By Daniel Pena
Oct 11, 2011 - 1:32:05 PM

Promoting his inclusion in THQ's WWE '12 video game, Brock Lesnar participated in an interview with IGN.com to discuss WWE related topics.

Lesnar explains why he agreed to be included in the game.

"It's one of those things where… it's part of my history. Without the WWE, I probably wouldn't be where I am today," he said via e-mail. "I wouldn't have the high visibility, I wouldn't have had the leverage to come into the UFC. I would have had to do it all on my own. I'm no idiot when I say that when I was with the WWE, the visibility from that company and what they did on a global network for 'Brock Lesnar' as a whole, put me on another level."

Being in WWE '12 begs the obvious question - would Lesnar ever consider returning to WWE programming?

"It would have to be under the right circumstances," he says. "I don't know if Mr. McMahon and I could come to the right circumstances. If it was good for me and good for him I think that we could do something. At the end of the day, my life, my character and my profession - I take them very seriously. At the end of the day, if it doesn't help me or my family out, and it doesn't make sense for me to do, then I don't do it. Everything would have to fall in the right place, but would I consider it? Absolutely."

The piece can be accessed here.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lesnar return for a match of two. Him leaving left a big gap at one point. Took a while to fill it, sorta. Was a big fan of his work.

He left a big gap in Sable too. Or was that already there before he got there?

GOOD RIDDANCE to John Morrison!!!!

I was one of his biggest fans a year or so ago...but he hasn't gotten any better on the mic, and his personal life has wrecked his career over and over again.

He will go to TNA, be in the midcard...lose to Sting...that 6 pack of his will disappear since TNA doesn't care what kind of shape you're in...and his work rate will get sloppy.

It's one of the biggest wastes of a potential huge star I have ever seen. The guy should be positioning himself to carry the entire WWE, not positioning himself as being considered worthless to the company.

who would have thought that it would be the Miz who would thrive, instead of Morrison, after their tag team split.......

The only thing I heard about John Morrison in relation to the Melina situation is his lack of professionalism at the last Wrestlemania with Trish Stratus. Which was completely crappy thing for him to do, as I said at the time, but what else has he done to the WWE aside from dating a crazy chick?

Unless there's something else I haven't heard of, it seems the WWE has more trouble separating JoMo's professional and personal life than he has.

When they split up I thought Miz would become a jobber and eventually released and Morrison would go on to bigger and better things.

Funny, I would have said the exact same thing. However it's starting to look like Miz was the one with the chops on the mike, and Morrison.....was just eye candy. Too bad he couldn't have had someone to talk for him, and let his in-ring work be his focus. Sad state of affairs, indeed.

Why in the hell is JR always being embarrassed in his hometown? Seriously, the guy just may be the best commentator your company has ever had, and he recruited the company's greatest talent during its most popular time, yet he gets **** on tv all the time. I'm sure the answer is, "It's the business. JR understands..." and all that nonsense, but when you are going through declines in your company and you treat one of your greatest workers like **** you aren't going to look too appealing to future talent. That's one of the reasons why your next great star in Brock left early. The job is very strenuous on your body, and the people have petty vendettas that seem to come before logic and even money.

judging by the reviews and comments on here and other sites, this storyline and this raw seems to have fallen back into the same old ****.

seriously i'm still amazed they managed to turn this whole story into a HHH centric story, all thats missing is the evil vince for him to go against

Love the over-exhaggeration and hyperbole in this post :whatever:

Of course he will not have the prominence or the stardom else that he would in WWE, but to act as if the guy cannot go elsewhere and do well for himself is a joke.

As long as Morrison keeps his ego in check and doesn't piss of the wrong people (which was a big problem in WWE, mainly because of Melina), he has a chance to do very well.

If TNA can keep the momentum that they have been building in recent weeks as far as making new stars, than TNA might be a very good fit for him. Of course with TNA, they've had a horrible habit of dropping something good when they have it, but let's see how Prichard's new role works out for creative.

Personally I think AJ Styles vs. John Morrison is a fued waiting to happen given the barbs AJ has thrown towards Morrison.

the main problem is if he goes to tna you can bet your house the split doing leech would be right along side him. and you really think melina is gonna be happy not being top dog in the knockout division

and as history has shown she's far more trouble than worth and morrison just sits and nods his head

Like I said, it's up to Morrison to keep his ego in check and what he does in his personal relationship with Melina, since that's what held him back in WWE.

It's also up to TNA if they decide to bring in Melina. The TNA knockouts are said to be a close knit group that do not have the drama of the WWE divas. There's a good chance given her reputation they will not sign her, but who knows. She's a free agent as of last week. The one thing Melina does not have going for her is she is not a big star like all the other "troublesome" talents TNA has signed in the past.

Personally I think Gail Kim will get brought back before they ever bring in Melina.
