The Wrestling Thread.....Has No Confidence - Part 34

I just find it funny that everyone on the roster claims they don't feel safe because Miz and Truth attacked a couple main eventers at a PPV and some refs before and after being fired and yet Ziggler, Swagger, Rhodes, Christian, and Otunga did more damage tonight attacking people then when things were "dangerous".

Triple H and Punk are teaming in the main angle on RAW. The only problem with this is the title takes a back seat again, but otherwise me likey.

Saw the trailer for John Cena's new movie and I have got to say :lmao:

I have to be honest, I have lost just about all interest in WWE right now. The booking has just been horrible lately and I feel no connection to any of their stars right now

I... approve, actually. He could be able to bring a good perspective the position.

This

It's a stupidly inconsistent storyline. I've already stopped focusing on it and just watch the matches. I was just lucky I woke up and caught Henry/Orton. Like their matches.

At least soon WWE '12 will be out and I'll be able to make my own storylines again, and now with (think of Heyman shouting his name here) BROCK LESNAR .

Brock Lesnar vs Vader and Arn Anderson vs Daniel Bryan are matches I'm looking forward to playing on WWE '12.

I feel the storyline was going great until the walkout. If Johnny Ace is the only payoff then they have really dropped the ball. Somehow I get the feeling Foley will be made General manager and Triple H will remain a face to fight Punk for the title at Mania.

Rikishi needs to come back and run over Johnny Ace with a Rent-A-Car lol.

I can't stand Ace.

I can't believe Vince came back so soon. I was actually enjoying WWE for the most part without him on TV.

Vengeance looks weak already. The only match I care about is Rhodes Vs. Orton and shame on WWE for rebooking Cena Vs. Del Rio because it worked so well the first time, ugh!

I just hope the new RAW General Manager will be
Mick Foley!
:woot:

At least I can book the Brock Lesnar Vs. Triple H match we never got. Supposedly, Lesnar's new deal will also include a new DVD about him, giving his thoughts on his career this time around.

HULK HOGAN GETTING RIPPED BY FANS AND PHIL MUSCHNICK ALIKE
Doesn't surprise me. A few years ago at Mr. Olympia, Brock Lesnar AND Stone Cold were taking pictures with fans and signing autographs for free while Hulk Hogan was charging $50!

I wasn't watching when RVD had the WWE title...how did that go?

IIRC he was champion for about almost a month. He had a pretty good title defense against Edge during his reign at Vengeance 2006. He was supposed to lose the title to Edge in a triple threat match involving Cena on Saturday's Night Main Event (the main event was changed to Cena Vs. Edge), but once RVD got busted, they moved plans up and booked the match on RAW in Philly instead.

RVD is a guy that can't be counted on, just like Jeff Hardy.
Ironically, Van Dam behaved as a mid-carder then got in trouble once he finally made it on top. Had he had been pulled over in Colorado, he would've been okay with the stash he had on him as you're allowed to carry an ounce of weed on you over there, but it did lead to this classic image:

Didn't see Raw but read they resolved the walkout storyline , glad to hear that.

What's the deal with Jim Ross getting fired again. I guess to show JL as more of a heel. That just sucks.

I want Punk doing commentary solo. I feel cheated.

I hope Punk becomes a color commentator when he retires. His commentary was pretty entertaining while he was injured, and I definitely prefer him to Lawler and Booker. Lawler just hasn't been good for quite some time.

The little girl dancing in the audience to Mark Henrys theme music made me laugh as did Triple H broomstick comment.

I just watched some Impact Wrestling and the way they're building Roode vs Angle is great.

WWE could learn a lot from them about making the title look important. All that behind the scenes stuff is very good.
