So what is everyone's 5 predictions for 2012 in the WWE?

1. David Otunga will win one of the mid-card titles
2. The Undertaker will put a young talent over on a PPV
3. Brock Lesnar will return
4. Dolph Ziggler will win either the WWE title or the WHC
5. Vickie Guerrero will manage Brodus Clay

I'll go ten:

1. Dolph Ziggler will be World Champion again and have a longer reign than his first one.
2. Kharma will not be back in the WWE.
3. Brock Lesnar won't return
4. Shaq gives the WWE some positive publicity.
5. Michael Cole leaves the WWE for Greener pastures (ie a legit sport such as football or baseball)
6. NXT season five finally ends when the WWE Network debuts or it becomes a full fledged brand.
7. Mick Foley will have a match at either Wrestlemania, Summerslam or Survivor Series.
8. Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry and Big Show retire. Kane and Taker began their farewell tours.
9. Linda will not win the Senate seat.
10. Vince will go on a rage again for no apparent reason.

2.Cody will retire his brother Goldust and Dustin will transition completely to working with young talent, possibly the divas.
3.Punk/HHH II will happen at Summerslam or right after WM with HHH putting Punk over.
4. Sheamus will have a strong run as a face World champion.
5.Johnny Ace will be revealed as Steph's or Vince's puppet.

Happy New Year everyone. Here's to another fine year in the wrestling thread.

2012

1) Ziggler will become the top heel in the company, running with the World or WWE title.
2) TNA will do something to get me (and other jaded fans) watching again for at least a month, but will then turn me (us) off their product yet again.
3) ROH will break through some major markets, but lose a handful more big name stars to WWE.
4) CM Punk will turn heel and become a corporate lapdog under Johnny Ace and a renewed Stephanie McMahon.
5) Undertaker, Mark Henry and Kane all hang up their boots this year.

Someone write all these down and we can see who is right or not.

The consensus seems to be Ziggler will ascend to the top. I think it's going to be his year.

So what is everyone's 5 predictions for 2012 in the WWE?

1. Ziggler wins the WWE title from CM Punk in the summer or fall

2. Rey Mysterio returns to have a long feud with Hunico

3. During the Rock feud, we see a darker Cena, which actually helps him get more face heat.

4. Kofi Kingston turns heel on Evan Bourne and eventually feuds with Daniel Bryan.

5. All the champs, during their reigns, will lose non-title matches for no apparent reason.


...ok, I know #5 was too easy.

3. cena saves people

I think Ziggles is going to need to go up against a top face to truly get over as a legit champion. I'm not sure Punk is quite there himself as he is also lacking a top foe to truly get him over as the top face in the company.

This is the crux of the problem really, superstars are excelling individually but are lacking the competition and that top feud to get them into the stratosphere so to speak.

1-Triple H ends Undertakers streak
2-Ziggler and Punk feud for the WWE title
3-Sheamus wins the Rumble
4-Christian returns to a huge ovation and then gets squashed in under two minutes
5-Triple H vs Punk 2 happens, and trips wins clean proving he's still "that damn good"

2-Cena turns heel
3-Cena beats The Rock at WM
4-Brock returns for a one time deal during the year

1.) CM Punk does what he says he will do... He makes the World Title interesting again. It's defended at live shows in fun to watch matches. He also changes the look of the belt to something more "serious".

2.) Y2J returns tomorrow night.

3.) Shane McMahon returns as a face siding himself with CM Punk and his quest to make the brand "interesting" again.

4.) Brock Lesnar returns for a part time gig... Mainly because everyone is saying if he does ANYTHING it will only be one time. Lesnar won't wrestle all the time but his presense will be "felt."

5.) We find out that both Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin are behind everything... they bring back the "Two Man Power Trip" this sets up Steve Austin vs CM Punk at WrestleMania.

6.) The Miz turns face/John Cena turns heel.

7.) Undertaker puts Dolph Ziggler or Cody Rhodes over at WrestleMania.

8.) Both Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler become the "next big thing" in the WWE. Possibly having lengthy feuds with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

9.) Cole leaves Raw...SmackDown... or both.

10.) The Diva's somehow become interesting to watch (lolololol)

1. Drew McIntyer and Ted jr are pushed(and hopefully they prove that they aren't a huge waste of roster space.)
2. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins make it to the main roster.
3. Cody Rhodes will win a MITB briefcase.
4. Jack Swagger wins a mid-card title
5. Randy Savage is iput in the WWE Hall of Fame.

I'm with ya'......IMO...the shock will always be they actually hired her, not anything she actually did...or may do if they do bring her back.........but I doubt she'll ever make back into the ring...

The only way I see Kharma coming back is if the WWE allows her child to travel with her, which I doubt the WWE will allow unless its a McMahon.
