The next pack of DLC for WWE 12 are Randy Savage, Mick Foley, Batista and Brodus Clay. I don't understand Brodus Clay.

Well I think Brock will want to rest a bit, But I definitely would prefer him to HHH at WM28. That would make the card really stacked.

curious about brock's retirement.... probably jumping to conclusions but it seems rather suspicious given how close we are to 2/1/12

If Brock won though, he'd be still tied up with UFC until his title fight. Plus, he's in his early 30s and his body isn't doing so well. He probably doesn't want to jump into the squared circle again so soon, even on a limited schedule.

....I bet if he could get a Rock-type deal with mostly satellite promos and 2-3 matches a year for good coin, he'd jump at the chance. But I don't think he's an interesting enough personality to justify that. That all said, he HE comes out this Monday, I'll mark out, bro!

No way is the 1-2-12 video hyping Brock. The only way that happens is if it was originally intended for Jericho, then that deal fell through and they were planning on bringing out Taker, but now Vince decides to throw a literal mountain of money at Brock to bring him back on like 3 days notice.

More realistically, there is a slim chance he can come back in the Rumble to work a light schedule leading up to a WM match, but leave after that. He is NOT coming back to anything resembling a full time deal.

Even more likely is he takes some time off to come back at Summerslam or even more likely, next Wrestlemania. I'm sure we'll see him back sooner or later now that he's done with UFC, but don't hold your breath for an immediate return or any full time return.

I'd love Brock to return, but like you said, I wouldn't hold my breath for a immediate return, unless he is offered a wad of cash with a light schedule.

Does his contract with UFC state he can work for someone else right away after retiring?

With Orton out for 6 months supposedly, that might be more of a incentive for the WWE to get another big name attached to this year's wrestlemania somehow.

You mean quit 'cause he realized he's not as hot a **** as he thought he was.

The man has had a very serious stomach problem, otherwise he'd have ran through MMA like a dose of salts through a widow woman!.....No I am not sure what that means but JR used to use it!

I don't know about that. They will get a ton of mainstream publicity because of the Rock and even more if they are able to get Shaq.

Anyway, I think Brock is content with living off his money for a while. Is he still married to Sable?

Vince is all about making the most money and in WM's case, the most buyrates. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to give Brock a big, fat check to work the show.

And with a current roster lacking of starpower, Vince will need all the names he can get so hopefully Jericho and Lesnar do come back.

I'll agree that Brock wasn't very good at progressing as a fighter (being one-dimensional) since he wasn't much at striking, but then again, I can't say I blame him. Sometimes, what you know (in his case, grappling) works best.

But even if Lesnar had defeated Overeem, he wouldn't have lasted long in UFC. That diverticulosis really did a number on him and last night's fight showed it.

What he has is an excuse to cover for the real reason he chumped out.

And I have no idea what that means either! :cmad:

That stomach problem forced him to miss almost a year.
