I think there's just enough belts. They could probably do with bringing back the European title or Light weight title.

They need to strengthen their tag division.

Daniel Bryan's twitter linked me to a promo by the Briscoe brothers, who had try outs in FCW a couple years ago, and they were told they weren't good looking enough to be in WWE.

I watched a couple of matches, they're awesome. They're not good looking but they look and sound like they can kick your ass. There's not enough guys like that. The fact that guys like that aren't let into WWE considering the state of the tag division is practically incompetent.

Are they the guys with no teeth? They're something alright, good on the mic too. I wouldn't say they're bad looking, just pay for a teeth job and they'll be set to go. :oldrazz:

The whole point of Mark Briscoe is that every few months or so he gives a tooth to the audience as a gift. It's part of his gimmick.

Gimmicks can be tweaked, surely the core of their gimmick is that they are stereotypical redknecks than guys who hand out teeth?

I understand where traditionalists are coming from with going back to one belt, but I'm fine with 2 belts. It gives more chances for a new guys to get their shot instead.

Thats how I feel. With one belt would BOTH Guerrero and Benoit have gotten a shot? With HHH's reign of boredom on Raw I'm glad there was another belt at the time.

And looking at it from today's POV I seriously have to wonder if Mark Henry and Christian would have EVER gotten a shot if there was one belt. Punk would have gotten his but it would have taken a lot longer. Mark Henry has been one of the best heels in the business recently and its a shame that he never would have gotten a shot just because WWE wants to push their "star" Del Rio...who hasn't been nearly as effective.

The problem today is we have an Attitude Era amount of title changes with a Rock n Wrestling era number of contenders swapping the belt.

In the Attitude Era we could easily see 6 guys at the top swapping the belt back and forth and THATS why it looked like there was more competition. Not because there was one belt. All six of those guys were made to matter and booked strong.

Now its seems like the same two guys swap a belt back and forth for a while forever...and usually only ONE of them is over. Lately its been Cena and the guy he was fighting and Punk and the guy he was fighting.

WWE needs to focus on making new stars...legit stars...THEN the main event scene on each show will matter more.

I think they need more titles not less. Their are too many wrestlers and too few belts which leads to a lot of pointless feuds and wrestlers who have heat but lose it because their storylines down go anywhere and they don't get title shots.

The problem is the lack of good booking and lack of prestige put on the titles. Holding a title meant something back it the day and wrestlers with titles were booked strongly.

Exactly. I wouldn't mind going back to ONE world title...if they fixed all the other problems.

The problem isn't two belts or lack of depth in the roster when it comes to making titles matter...its booking.

The Divas title and The tag team titles already did EVERYTHING people want done with the World and WWE titles. They were unified because WWE's thinking was that with one belt or set of belts for each division it would focus the competition down to the best talents.

Thats not what happened. Those divisions are both WORSE off now than before the belts were unified and thats because the booking has been terrible, not enough people have been allowed to get over, and they've stripped the divisions of a lot of talent.

The talent makes the belts matter...not the other way around. And the belts they have now would matter more if the people holding them and their challengers mattered more.

Can't wait for tonight, really hope it's Jericho's return, would love for a Jericho/Punk War of the Worlds feud.

I just hope it's not Undertaker. How many times has he returned since his big injury in '99? Undertaker returning is not a surprise. I'm expecting it.

I hope it is, everyone and its dog think it's Jericho.

I just watched the 'It Begins' promos in one reel on Youtube and began to think...What if it's not just Jericho's return. What if Jericho is just the crown jewel of a force that returns. It begins relays a message that whoever or whatever returns will lay seige on the WWE which means not only do they plan to destroy Punk but every aspect of the WWE. Could this be the rise of a new version of the Corporation or even the nWo (which I hope is not the case). Maybe Stephanie, Jericho and someone else has come to lay waste to the PG version of WWE. I'm just rambling in anticipation of tonight...hoping it won't be a big let down.

Since it's WWE, I am anticipating a big let down.

Judging by Takers look.. I'm willing to bet we get American Badass Taker when he returns.

At least he would be more entertaining than Johnny Ace

Very true.

Christian is still injured I think, and Drew is now somewhat of a joke at the moment.

Yeah I'm not even sure how long Christian will be out. He could come back as a face though.

I have to work but I check the internet on my phone for updates . Speaking of which

Major Spoiler for RAW (if you want to be surprised don't read)

Several fans sent in the photo posted above of Chris Jericho arriving at the Nashville International Airport in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday. This airport is just a few hundred miles from Memphis, Tennessee - the sight of tonight's WWE RAW Supershow.

Speculation has been that Jericho is the man behind WWE's January 2nd, 2012 cryptic videos that have been airing.

Ryback...soldier from the future. Wondering what the hell happened to his future buddy Max Moon and ready to fight Heidenriech the frozen Nazi from the past.

If that is true, then Jericho's a bit of a goof for not wearing his hair combed to the side, or putting on a toque or something to that degree. He goes to ALL THAT TROUBLE to mask it, and then goes and wears his easy to recognize signature hair style? Still, you can never be 100%. Maybe he's so evil a person he flew all the way to Nashville just to get people's hopes up haha

Spoilers for tonight, and no, it's not what you think

I was just getting back from visiting family in Texas and arrived home at the Nashville International Airport and saw WWE's Undertaker passing by me. Not sure if this means he'll be on Raw or not but I figured I'd shoot you the pic I took of him as I passed by him. He looked pissed maybe because it'll mess up his return.

WTF is going on

- Chris Jericho is having fun on Twitter when people claim to have photos of him in Memphis. Even posting photo shopped images of himself in wacky times and places…

"Apparently I've been cloned...or somebody has started a great rumour!!"

"From the dawn of time he came. Moving silently down through the centuries. Living many secret lives. Struggling to reach the time of tonight's Raw and possibly the Royal Rumble when the few who remain will battle to the last."

I agree with all this and the quoted posts in it as well. Guys like Henry would have never held a big title if we didn't have a couple to go after. He's worked hard and worked even harder than the majority of his detractors ever thought he could once he got the strap around his waist and proved that he deserved that slot. How many fans can really say they ever expected that to happen if there was only one belt to go around that was tied up with the Raw group? I guarantee that very few could confidently say they could see that happening.

Those Jericho pics are hilarious. Only further leads me to believe it's him, for him to work so hard at trying to convince people it's not. Ironically, if it really WASN'T him, he probably would be trying to convince people it was. Pretty funny stuff.
