He wants some of us to know. Helps ratings and hell receive more fanfare. I think undertaker might just be going backstage but getting both tonight would be awesome

Plays the song from Ken Burns Civil War as I glance at that first picture.

Kane, have you just made that yourself, or did you get it from somewhere? It looks cool anyways.

Found it on tumblr, there's more of it but it's just text from the promos.

Here's a question that I'm interested to hear everybody's thoughts and opinions in regards too.

Would you prefer there be one major undisputed top title rather than two separate ones for each show?

I can see the pro's in having two, as it allows those who would usually be passed on as champion getting a chance, even though the top titles are often still held by the top guys. But I really am a fan of the idea of there being one 'top' title rather than two.

I feel, it would really make winning the MITB, as well as the Rumble and Main Eventing for the title at WrestleMania significant and mean something again, as well as giving it back that whole special gravitas, that I feel is sorely missing these days.

Uniting the two belts and there only being one top belt would be amazing. However, this can only work if two major things happen. The first (and I've been hoping for this for YEARS) would be to make the Intercontinental and United States championship belts significant again. I remember back during the Attitude era, the Intercontinental title was actually important. The same with the US title and WCW. The second would be to make feuds interesting again for alot of the mid card and upper-mid card. Make these feuds significant and not just something to have the wrestlers do.

I hope its more classic jericho persona... or at least the classic entrance - and I also hope he has pants other than pants

Michelle McCool has been greatly criticized over the years for taking the fast track to WWE glory. After entering an intimate relationship with The Undertaker in late 2007 (who she married in June 2010), many critics attributed her position in WWE to her influential partner rather than her ability to perform. Speaking to Inside Wrestling, the four-time champion is asked why she has received so much flack.

Dan Murphy asks McCool, "I know you like to keep some things private and this was never announced, but you did marry The Undertaker. He's obviously a veteran and icon in the business with a lot of influence. Was it the Diva Search background or having the relationship with someone like him that's responsible for the heat and resentment you got?"

She responds, "Bottom line: People in our business are always going to look to find reasons to see the negative in somebody and to become resentful. I don't really know where it began: probably with me getting the tag as "Diva Search reject." But I don't know anybody who, if they had an opportunity like the Diva Search, they wouldn't jump at it. If they didn't jump at it, they'd be idiots.

"People can say what they want to say, but at the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror. I know how hard I fought. I know how many storylines I pitched. I know how hard I worked in the ring. I can't tell you the number of times I was one of the first people at the arenas or at TV, constantly trying to better myself. I can honestly say that my hard work paid off. My resilience paid off. My persistence paid off. That's all there is to it. People are always going to say what they want to say and believe what they want to believe, but that's the bottom line."

It has been a little over a year since MVP announced he would be leaving WWE. A good amount of soul searching and discontent with his position in the organization led to his final decision.

"I guess more than anything it was that my contract was coming to a close," he tells the Miami Herald. "I had a year left on my contract. John Laurinaitis was coming to me to re-sign like he had a number of times. I had actually been avoiding him because I hadn’t made my decision yet. I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I hadn't come to terms with my decision. "On a professional level it was a culmination of a lot of things. I just wasn't happy anymore and felt I wasn't being given the opportunities that I had been given previously. It was time for me to make a decision, and I didn't want to re-sign. I asked if I could be out of that final year so I could go and pursue my original dream of wrestling in Japan."

WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent Relations respected his decision. MVP feels he receives unnecessary flack.

"I have to say John Laurinaitis gets a bad rap from a lot of people," MVP said. "He is in a really crappy position. His job makes you very unpopular. He and I had a good relationship. He was the guy that hired me and gave me my first opportunity. John Laurinaitis, a.k.a. Johnny Ace, spent 10 years in Japan with the All Japan [Pro Wrestling] promotion. He and I would talk about Japanese wrestling all the time over beers."

MVP also discusses his passion for Japanese wrestling and life after WWE. The full article is available here.

Pretty cool that MVP has a passion for Japanese wrestling and that his original goal was to wrestle there,A lot of wrestlers seem to be WWF/E marks and want to wrestle&stay there as long as possible!!

I'd want to too But I'd sure love to wrestle in Japan&Mexico for a long time too!

They gain alot of experience from doing that. Alsomexico and Japan respect pro wrestling. Vader went to Japan for a long time and a-train is doing well over there

Ugh, I'd much rather have Shane and Steph come back rather then Jericho and Taker. I'd love to see a new regime, that actually lasts more then 4 months.

I haven't read any of the spoilers for tonight's Raw, but I'm looking forward to see tonight's show. The Punk/Ziggler match is gonna be fun enough to check out the show let alone the reveal of "whoever" is debuting tonight.

JR Blog: Lesnar-WWE Speculation, Change to WWE's Announcing Style, More

Posted by Marc Middleton on 01/02/2012

Jim Ross has posted his first blog of 2012 over on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

- Top FCW prospects? No names from me. Several have potential. The former ROH and experienced independent guys have a slight edge. They all need to continue to diligently work on fundamentals. slowing down their pace at times, and maintaining a rigorous weight training and conditioning program.

- For the record, in case folks haven't noticed it, the style of broadcasting in WWE has changed drastically over the years and that's not by accident. It is perceived that story telling and that function's ancillary spinoffs are more effective than the old school, traditional, wrestling commentary.

- Will Brock Lesnar return to WWE full time or part time? For those that know Brock well, the answer to this question is actually quite simple. It's NO. Brock dislikes, putting it mildly, traveling. Plus, he doesn't need the money even though he's smart enough to not turn down a big payday if the lay of the land is to his liking. That's why the UFC thing was good for him because he could earn big money by traveling 2-3 times per year to fight. I could see Brock doing a major, one off WWE appearance ala a Wrestlemania, but not this year, and doing so while not even making the live Raw events that lead into it. I could also see WWE traveling to Brock to shoot vignettes to build whatever match that he might be booked. For fans who think that Lesnar will return to make a significant amount of TV dates only and then only work a handful or so of PPV's, I hate to burst your bubble, but in my opinion that simply isn't happening.

Of course, the Lesnar to WWE rumors will persist TFN but I'd be shocked to see Brock Lesnar remotely near a WWE event in 2012.

I don't see Brock returning anytime soon.maybe next year. Right now he probably has too many health concerns

Joining forces with Vickie Guerrero could work wonders for Tamina.
