I got a chuckle out of Rollins bigging Ambrose up on Smackdown when he said that no one even wants to challenge you for the US title. :hehe:

I'd like to see that happen soon. I know Reigns is the top prospect from the Shield, but Ambrose is my personal favorite. I love his style, and especially his finisher. Maybe when the Shield finally splits they can emphasize Ambrose's psychotic megalomaniacal personality. Call his finisher the "Ambrosius" or something like that.

The triple-threats are the best option, though I can't figure out why Cena and Triple H would go at it. Unless Cena accuses Triple H of pushing CM Punk out of the company.

I like that angle, it could also work with Daniel Bryan vs HHH.

Would anyone else like to see Rusev and Cesaro either feud or team? I think either or could be great.

Oh yeah, I'm catching up on SmackDown from last night :hehe: I want to see this Ziggler promo everyone's talking about.

any more word on the Punk and Sting situations?

- There were never any real plans internally for Jake "The Snake" Roberts to work the 30-man Royal Rumble match this year. WWE had Jake work the Old School RAW as a way to set the stage for his Hall of Fame induction. Officials saw that as something bigger than a quick appearance in the Rumble match.

- There is an early push within WWE to book more shows on the West Coast during December, January and February next year since the weather has been so bad on the East Coast this year.

- WWE officials were initially disappointed with the reaction that Batista got for his return but when the ratings came in and they were high, officials decided that it wasn't Batista's fault. They blamed it on the fans in Dayton, Ohio. The feeling now is that Dayton won't be getting a pay-per-view anytime soon.

- Another one of CM Punk's issues with WWE is that he feels like he hasn't been fairly compensated for events in the past and that so far, nobody in the company has told him or anyone else how they will be compensated for this year's WrestleMania and other pay-per-views with the Network launching.

It's also said that Punk has been upset that no matter what happens, he will never be pushed as the John Cena-caliber face of the company. Punk at one point pushed hard to go heel again despite the fact that he was super over as a babyface because he realized that as a babyface, he'll always be number two behind Cena. His idea was to turn heel so at least he would be number one as a heel.

It's worth noting that there are a small number of people within WWE who believe the whole situation is a work but the vast majority do not. Those who believe it's legit are very much split on things. Half of the people seem to think that Punk stood up for himself and did the right thing and should be applauded. The other half feel he's being a baby about everything and shouldn't have walked out, especially without giving WWE time to write him out of the storylines. It's said to be a very polarizing issue within the company.

- As noted, last week's RAW was re-written because of the CM Punk situation. In order to keep fans from hijacking the show for Daniel Bryan like they did at the Royal Rumble the night before, WWE had Bryan cut an in-ring promo which he originally wasn't scheduled to do.

- Regarding the reaction at the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton reportedly was irate backstage after the crowd hijacked his match with John Cena.

- The split between Cody Rhodes and Goldust may come at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view where a tag team title match is expected. There are plans for Cody vs. Goldust at WrestleMania XXX this year. Goldust was originally signed as a talent through WrestleMania XXX but his deal has been extended through SummerSlam. Once that deal expires, it's expected he will become an agent backstage.

- Kevin Nash tweeted the following about Batista, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan:

"Daves a really good guy.if the office says you get the push you take it business 101.He looks the part his ring timing will improve"

"Love Punk and da Yes man. Can't we hope storyline puts them where you want them? A reason to watch?"

Ok, so Batista's return keeps getting the credit for big ratings on that episode of Raw. However, wasn't that the first episode after Daniel Bryan's triumphant "Yes" moment on top of the cage? Could it be that we were watching to see what happened next with that?

It was likely a combination of both, not just one.

That's exactly the reason why WWE is garbage right now. They want to force the fans to like the crappy booking decisions they've made. The fans voiced their opinion on WWE's direction and WWE officials blame it on the fans???? That's pathetic.

At this time, the rumored WrestleMania card sucks. I have no plans on paying for it.

What I wanted to see was something like this:

*WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Two out of Three Falls Match):

Daniel Bryan (C) VS. CM Punk

*Undertaker's Final Match:

John Cena VS. The Undertaker (Taker retires with the streak intact)

*Intercontinental Championship (Fatal Fourway Elimination Match):

Antonio Cesaro (C) Vs. Dolph Ziggler VS. Damien Sandow VS. The Miz

*Tag-Team Championship (TLC Match):

NAO (C) VS. USOS VS. Los Matadores (Being a TLC match I booked two high flying teams for big spots)

*The Shield Vs. The Wyatt Family

*Big E Langston VS. Ryback (Filler)

*Brock Lesnar VS. Batista

*Randy Orton VS. Triple H

*Legends Battle Royal

Warrior included.

*Divas Match

Fair enough.

Says the guy who didn't want to job to the waffle house vanilla midget.

Why the heck wasn't that promo on Smackdown? Dolph was fantastic. His words were good but more importantly, his delivery felt honest and heartfelt. That was nearly an Austin 3:16 or Pipebomb moment.

Dolph Ziggler is money. The man is rounding himself out as a worker. I can't figure out what he's missing now. The ability to give a promo like that was the one component lacking. Now he's got it.

Let him cut one like that on RAW. Particularly in this time. The crowd might start hijacking segments to chant his name too.

It doesn't matter how good you are anymore. The concussion might of slowed him down but at the end of the day he's not best friends with Triple H. This has to be all about politics. One remark about Orton and they made him a jobber.

The weird thing to me is that he has the look. He reminds me of Shawn Michaels. It's almost shocking Vince is all over this guy. I have a man crush on Dolph Ziggler , lol

I saw the Dolph Ziggler. He told no lies.

One of the things that make people resent the WWE is them pushing wrestlers the majority of people don't like and burying the wrestlers they do.

Fair enough.

We've been hoping for yeers. Why don't the people in the business see that? No disrespect to Cena, but it always comes back to him eventually. Bryan is the guy, understand this. Also understand that the probable Triple H vs Bryan match must main event WrestleMania unless you want the last impression of the show to be Batista getting booed.

To me, It's hard to believe it's coincidental that during this period, the crap hits the fans because WWE slaps their audience in the face regarding Daniel Bryan, Punk quits WWE, and Dolph Ziggler releases an intense promo that airs out his frustrations.

This to me feels like it's part of the symbolic #YesMovement that fans have started. Bryan's the poster child of this movement but Punk and Ziggler are just as much of a part of it as he is. Whether they actively acknowledge it or not.

can you imagine its all a work to create a stable of punk, bryan, ziggler and a 4th

dammit now i'm sad :(

It was a worked shoot. It should be replayed on Raw because not many people will be aware of it. I rarely check out the interviews on WWE.com or use the app. It could of been a great moment but that would defeat the purpose of shoving Orton, Batista, and Cena down our throats.

Also congrats to Pancakes on the anniversary. I don't know many people who watch wrestling and this thread is a blessing to me. It seems there is always something going on with wrestling and its fun to read you guys opinions.

This is true. WWE sees what they want to see.

This is true. WWE sees what they want to see.

So you agree that all of this that's been happening this week is all parts of the #YESMOVEMENT?

I hope this #YESMOVEMENT is the thing that FINALLY makes the top brass open their eyes and stop slapping their audience in the face

Sting's Possible Role On RAW, Several Big WrestleMania XXX Matches Considered

Source: F4WOnline

- The latest on Sting is that he still has not signed but the general feeling is that it's a foregone conclusion that he's coming in. While he's not expected to be rushed into a match at WrestleMania XXX, word is that the working idea right now is for Sting to possibly be the new RAW General Manager.

Sting as GM setting up a power struggle match with Triple H at Summerslam.............
- With the drama that has unfolded within WWE in the past week, WWE creative is now looking at several different options for WrestleMania XXX. The first is a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match with possibly the stipulation that Bryan gets a WWE World Heavyweight Title shot at Extreme Rules in Seattle. If Bryan ends up working Triple H at WrestleMania, they may put Sheamus in a match with Kane. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Batista vs. Randy Orton would still happen.

Another option is John Cena vs. Triple H, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt and Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan in a three-way for the belt. The other option they are looking at is Sheamus vs. Triple H, Cena vs. Wyatt and Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista in a three-way.

I don't like triple threats for the main event of a WrestleMania but they have booked themselves into a corner, so adding Bryan to the title match is the only way I can see to salvage things at this point.

I'd keep Cena vs Bray but I'd do Triple H vs Roman Reigns instead of Sheamus.

Ah, I see. Have they figured out how to go back the way you came once going backwards or forwards with the Time Displacement Equipment then?... :cwink: :oldrazz:

Yes, I just asked WWE creative and they told me how to go about simply making sure nothing that happened a week earlier matters. :D

Yeah, you're probably right. I still feel like it's pretty disrespectful to the talent though, especially if the they're in the ring working hard and busting their asses off. As has been said, it's the brass' fault not the talent, but unfortunately they're the ones that have to suffer for the message to get through to the higher powers.

I agree, personally it's not something I would do, I just think some fans figure it's a way to get management to notice as it disrupts their plans, the workers are the unfortunate collateral damage.

The crap had to hit the fan at some point. There is still hope for a story heading into WM 30. It's hard to believe Punk really quit. The lines between fantasy are really hard to draw when they start to break the fourth wall consistently during promos. The brass could easily take the credit and capitalize on the situation , but It's a big risk to piss off the core audience without an expected payoff.
