don't know if i'll get slammed for this, as much as the story sucked last night, it was one of the better ppvs in terms of match performance.

I think you, me and I think Ant Man are the 3 people here who liked the PPV last night.

Every time CM Punk is in a triple-threat match, I am reminded of the the Rabbit Fire cartoon from Warner Brothers. Punk is Daffy, of course, and in this case Rock is Bugs and Cena is Elmer Fudd.

He was the best heel, but he was not the best worker. He had great matches , don't get me wrong, but he was working against better workers like Austin and Taker, and gimmick matches with Mick when he was at his peak. He had very good matches with The Rock, I'll give him credit for that. The Rock was always solid, but the fact he was so over made all his matches seem better.

Ditto. HHH was never the best in the biz @any point in his career. People thinking he was does show that J.R. may be the best announcer because he put HHH over very often by calling him "the best in the biz" to the point where many started believing it. Most of his best matches were against people who carried the hell out of him. I give The Rock credit for their good matches. Glad he lost. Did Heyman taunt him afterwards?

-WWE is heavily pushing the idea that HHH is retiring. Of course it is a work, and he is not retiring, but WWE wanted you to think that. They purposely tried to mimic HBK's post-match moment against Undertaker. HBK took to his twitter account to further push the idea. HHH is indeed set to have a rematch with Brock Lesnar. Some think it could happen at Survivor Series.

What's the point of using Lesnar if the one win he has only results in a rematch where he will lose? He's supposed to be a monster and he should at least have one or maybe two good wins under his belt before his contract expires. Not a loss, a win and a rematch that will be a loss.

If Punk isn't going to be In a Match with the Rock for the Title or with Austin because he isn't ready.I really think HHH should face him at WM and finally put the guy over. He should've done it before but doing it at WM would be a huge Highlight for him.

Summerslam was alright.

I was expecting a little more from HHH V Brock.
Didn't Care for tag match, Rio or Rey bouts.
Punk match was decent, but forgettable.

Y2J V Dolph was fantastic, followed by a solid match by DB and Kane.

- Word is that Brock Lesnar won’t wrestle again until the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November. Lesnar still has plenty of dates left on his contract.

- Nobody within WWE expects Triple H to really be retiring from in-ring competition. The feeling is that Triple H still has many matches left. He’s expected to go away for a few months and then come back for a rematch against Brock Lesnar, possibly at Survivor Series.

It's definitely sad to see on how low the WWE has come as of late; I mean, I thought that there would be some hope in rejuvenating the product somewhat when the likes of CM Punk, Zack Ryder, and Daniel bryan were getting pushes, let alone when AJ was being utilized very well, heck even when Brock first returned...but that all quickly went away slowly.

I think they could solve their problems rather easily, but it would take some self-realization. Let Punk point out the hypocrisy. How he the WWE champion has been treated while Cena still main events. How once Cena is done with whatever he is doing, he is right back in the title picture. How the man who pushed him harder then anyone else in Bryan, was just shoved back down the main card in favor of a chick who likes to act crazy.

Late to the party, but WWE this is how you book a Heel. Why can't they apply how they book Brock as the heel to one of the full timers. I actually found myself feeling sorry of Haich when he tapped, that is how you book a heel. Come on WWE it's not so hard is it.

It sucks. The only guys who have the freedom to do anything are the part timer veterans. Cena and Orton seem like they could have pull, but are content with their spots so they dont take risks. And Punk seems to have some pull as well, and seems like the only guy who uses it.
