People say they support the WWE draft. But how many are brave enough to go out and do the wrestling themselves?

What does supporting the draft as a fan have to do with actually being a wrestler?, If I was a wwe wrestler though I would much rather have the brand extension schedule

:funny: I think most of us in this thread couldn't even pass a physical for admission into a 4H Club.

I think he was making a joke :lmao:

I trained in lucha libre style when I was in high school but moved out of town for college and when I returned, had stuff in my life to take care off and after that..I'm better off as a 30 yo fan now

At first, yes, but after a few minutes of walking around you get used to it.

Huh, that makes sense. Fair enough. And it certainly is "aesthetically pleasing" to be sure. If I may ask, are you speaking from personal experience?

Had Reigns turned heel during the tournament where he beat Ambrose, it would have made him the biggest heel in the industry.

They should have then paired him up with his family as a huge heel clique. They could have run that straight to Wrestlemania with Ambrose winning the chip of him then...or Rollins.

I want the 1988-1998 "Winged Eagle" Championshp personally. It can still be called the World Heavyweight Championshp if they want because it has "World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion" engraved on it.

Hey in a perfect world we'd have both. One for Raw and the other for Smackdown. IMO they have yet to beat those designs when it comes to the world titles in wwe.

CoughAJStylescough, Let Rollins keep feuding with Ambrose for now.

It'd be nice to see him hold the big gold belt as champion. Especially since he was one of the last to work for WCW back during his early days. The promo writes itself. He dreamed of holding that belt and even though it took fifteen years he finally won it. It was always meant to be.

Kinda sucks that the brand split is coming up. Raw/Smackdown haven't been this good in a long time. Ambrose vs. Rollins, Cena/Enzo & Cass vs. The Club, New Day vs. The Wyatts, Banks vs. Charlotte, etc...

My fear is that since he rosters will be split each show will be diluted talent wise when there are already few legit stars and top talents.

My hope is that the rosters being split means the guys on each show get more opportunities to show what they can do and become stars with spots now open. Especially on Smackdown. That's what happened in the early 2000's.

A lot of wrestlers we all know are involved in this lawsuit. Snuka, Orndorff, Bundy, the Hebners and Animal among them.

Dozens of wrestlers sue WWE over neurological injuries

Most of them don't surprise me since they are either too old to perform and know they aren't getting any kind of behind the scenes job or they're totally done with wrestling altogether. Maybe there's bad blood between some of them and Vince. A few do surprise me though. A few of those guys would have real shots at HOF spots and Legends deals. Guess they see these potential paydays as far bigger than anything WWE will offer them. I had to laugh when I saw Sabus name. That guy did the vast majority of any damage to himself outside of WWE. I'm not normally one to defend Vince but Sabu didn't work there much. Guess he knows all those other promoters he worked for can't pay out as well.

Most weeks we can't even get a good Raw with a full roster, I csn only imagine what a 3 hour Raw with a split roster will look like.

"nobody told me getting hit in the head over and over was bad for me"

Nobody should have to tell you head trauma is bad for you.

Always. Although unlike Maria(?) in that photo, everyone runs away screaming from me, and the photographer dies in 7 days.

Tell that to all of the NFL players who had that big lawsuit because the NFL tried it's hardest to dispute the notion that blows to head caused brain damage. And there was a time when lots of people didn't believe that smoking was bad for you (and the tobacco companies tried to keep it that way for years).

Times change, the science evolves.

Common sense shouldn't need a scientific study.

Getting hit in the head is bad for you. Nobody should have to tell you that.

If somebody told you getting hit in the head wasn't bad for you and you believed them, you don't deserve money for it.

You say that now, but then again a lot of these guys did this decades ago. So, it ain't that simple I'm afraid.

Is Vince controlling Smackdown with Raw's writers or does Shane/Trips get to actually have it or at least have strong input?

Trips has NXT to himself and so Shane should have Smackdown since he never got to have his own WCW promotion while Vince and Steph gets the flagship show and roster of Raw

Is Gill getting drafted to RAW or Smackdown?

I might stay up to watch that draft center show on the network.

What's the draft center show? I haven't browsed through the network in days and so haven't seen anything like that advertised

Each brand will have its own team of writers. Meltzer says Vince and Hunter will oversee both brands. Vince always has final say on everything.

When Smackdown goes off the air at 10:00 EST, the draft will continue on the Draft Center show on the WWE Network from 10:00 to 11:00.

Hmm kinda like a supplemental draft, might check that out

So who's going to play the Mike Mayock/Mel Kiper Jr/Todd McShay role tonight and if so, will they have a big board?
