Got my tickets for the WWE Heatwave Tour in Bridgeport, CT this Friday. The main event is advertised as Ambrose v Rollins v Styles for the Championship belt. Ambrose will win but it should be an awesome match

Ambrose should get the clean win over Brock Lesnar. It would take his character to another level in the WWE moreso than Rollins.

This may not be popular with people here, but completely disagree. I don't really view Ambrose as a top tier player, even though he has the title right now.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but Ambrose is missing something that Rollins has IMO. A win over Brock would probably be wasted.

I can respect that opinion. I disagree though.

I'm a fan of Rollins too, but, IMO, he doesn't require any more legitimizing. Ambrose, on the other hand, while popular, won his championship like a heel. He's been on the losing hand of one too many feuds.

A win over Brock Lesnar makes him a "Made man" and would solidify his stay on the top.

Flawless.

Hunter, are you done with watching WWE? I've recently lifted my banishment.

I agree. I'm a big Ambrose fan but it's just difficult imagining him beating Lesnar clean. Lesnars dominated the top guys and even when some of them won they had to fight dirty. I'd give that win to someone with exceptional in ring ability or someone who is a physical beast with great talent.

AJ Lee is one of those "what ifs" in the WWE. That promo she had against the Total Divas in 2013 was great. She as by far the best wrestler in the WWE at a time when the Divas Division at the time was at an all time low. She debuted during the latter stages of the Post-Trish/Post Lita Era and by the time she established herself as the best on the roster, Mickie James, Melina and Beth Phoenix were already gone and outside of Natalya, the talent was mediocre at best when she ruled the division. Her feud with Paige was good but I think by that time, she stopped giving a damn about the WWE anymore. I wasn't surprised in all honesty that she quit the WWE a few days after WrestleMania 31, I was surprised that she quit pro wrestling in general though as I would have thought that she would show up for Shimmer or Shine.

I know it's "never say never" in the WWE and in pro wrestling, but I think it's safe to say that we'll never see AJ Lee in a WWE ring ever again. I could see Beth Phoenix and Mickie James back as WWE Ambassadors and I could see Melina back in a similar role someday, but to me, AJ Lee is a never.

AJ Lee was at one point more over than any woman I've seen in wrestling in years. AND she was talented. WWE made some screwball choices that seems to be designed to derail her momentum. They should have pushed her and seen how far she could have gone. Granted she got a solid push but it could have been waaaaay better.

Some people say she got the longest reign with the divas title (until she left and Nikki Bella broke the record) and how great it is but that's missing the point. Long reigns don't matter. It's what's done in those reigns and the way those reigns are presented. It's just like CM Punk. He may have had the longest reign since Hogans first but he was treated as secondary...even as the champion. And some of the booking decisions were stupid. A reign of five months booked brilliantly means a lot more than a reign of five years.

It'd be like giving Sheamus the belt for five years and automatically saying it's great when he's still mediocre and people don't find him interesting.

If Ambose doesn't end up working out as world champ then that's fine I guess. I still am a huge fan and hope he finds a role that works for him. I think it's a bit strange he hasn't gotten a chance to be a singles heel yet to be honest.

Ditto. For a while there it was looking like he'd be the heel as an outcome from the Shield breaking up. Has definitely been an interesting path they've taken with all 3 so far.

For a sec I thought Bubba Ray was gonna double clothesline the Usos out of the ring.

Yeah I'm done, I just couldn't be bothered with the constant BS anymore and there wasn't really anyone on the roster I was interested in either.

Since Raw is in Detroit tonight, if one of the heels bashes the Lions, will the fans in attendance care?

Not sure why "If" is a part of this statement.

Ambrose is getting the biggest pops of any champion in months. He's probably the most over Face on the roster not named John Cena.

BTW, color me surprised that Darren Young seemed as over as he was after winning that match.

Gonna make the IC Title great again. Looking forward to Miz v Young at Battleground.

So Orton returns at Battleground as a guest of the Highlight Reel.

It will be a failure if Jericho doesn't call Orton a Stupid idiot or gets an RKO.
