Well when I went to see Iron Man yesterday,the crowd reaction in my theater was silent when the theatrical Dark Knight trailer was exposed.

Hulk - meh reaction, Hulk again whisper, I loved the trailer
TDK - wow reaction
Indy - good reaction, but we wanted the new one
PC - the new trailer, silence

Trailers:
The Happening- silence
The Love Guru- some laughs
The Incredible Hulk- some talk a few laughs
Indiana Jones 4- some talk
The Dark Knight- some talk a few claps

TDK - Great reaction
TIH - Good reaction
INDY - Great reaction
CON: PC - Some talking
Speed Racer - Some talking

Crowd - 95% full - 75% teens and early adults, 25% older people.
Trailers:
Indy - great reaction
The Love Guru - lots of laughs
Caspian - it started with groans and ended with alot of "i might go see that now..."
The Happening - ALOT of talk. during the trialer it was silent but at the end people were talking non stop.
The Dark Knight - silence...not the bad kind...theres a lot of annoying talk after HAPPENING but as soon as it came on...you could hear a pin drop.

The Incredible Hulk - Unfortunately it was the old trailer and not the superior new trailer (which can be seen on apple). Not much reaction from the crowd cause most wanted to see the new trailer.
The Love Guru - decent laughs from the crowd. Still torn on this one- could be excellent Myers comedy or could be crap.
The Dark Knight - Fantastic trailer- it's the new one that has been floating around the net- with lots more Joker and some Harvey Dent. This movie is going to be awesome and this is the best trailer yet for TDK. Very good crowd reaction too.
Indy IV - also the new one and equally as fantastic- this movie will be the king of the summer/year. Had the best crowd reaction and this plus TDK trailer are the best back-to-back trailers I've ever seen in the theaters.

Trailers:
TDK - Applause and yelling
Hulk - Some applause, some " he still looks fake"
Indy4 - Applause and mumbling
Narnia2 - Silence
Spirit - Some talking

Umm I was yelling YES YES the whole time and jumping up and down. Then at the end I stood up and clapped for a few seconds, and got looked at like I was a mental patient who escaped from my padded room lol.

Most of the trailers with it got a good reaction, even that awful awful looking Adam Sandler movie. But when the Dark Knight trailer came on, people went nuts.

At first when it started you could tell no one knew what it was, and then someone in the back yelled "BATMAN!"

When the title card saying THE DARK KNIGHT came up, the entire packed theater (myself included) went crazy, cheering and clapping.

whoa easy. Everyone has their opinion. But the reaction was NEAR as strong as the first TDK trailer, but then again it was full. Not one seat open. It was one of the coolest moments seeing everyone cheer to something I, too have been waiting for.

usually i'll go to the most dependable theaters around my area in Orange County. for sure, the regal in Invine has them all.

I usually go to the "big" Regal here in San Diego. I went to the dirt UA last night in the mall downtown because we just had left a show at House of Blues and said, "hey, let's go check out Iron Man" and that was the only theater downtown carrying it.

Most people reacted more to the Indiana Jones trailer than THE DARK KNIGHT.

Indiana Jones got no reaction in the theater I went to. The trailer is incredibly unexciting. Everyone liked the Joker in the Batman trailer, although overall it was pretty quiet during the previews.
