Does T-mobile still offer unlimited data? They may cap your download speed, but it may be better than being charged overages.
Does the Galaxy lock you in like the iPhone does?
AT&T & T-mobile have almost the same rates with smartphones, I think.
Thanks for the heads up.

Lastly, which of the 2 models that I mentioned or even the upcoming model in May is best choice taking into consideration features? Also which service better? AT&T or T-Mobile?
I have a Droid from Verizon. I'm charged a data plan.Ah, I hate that subsidizing crap. And AT&T not letting you have an iPhone without paying for a data plan.
As much as I love my iPhone, my next phone will likely be a Droid.

They are all Android phones. Cheap to expensive. It's really not that bad if you're not a Phone Geek who needs all the latest gadgets.

If that's the case, I might stay with T-Mobile. But is it too much to ask that they actually let me receive the text messages that are being sent to me?
They try to come up with reasons why it's the phone's fault. But I do everything they say to do to "fix" it and it continues to happen.
I'm with T-Mobile and have the Galaxy S 1. The phone itself is subpar. Freezes a lot. T-Mobile as a carrier isn't that bad, their 4G is fast as **** and I get service where my most of my friends with iphones don't. I have unlimited data, unlimited texts and 1000 minutes (I don't think I've ever used more than 400. All my communication is through text. I average a few thousand of those a month.) and my bill is $100 a month. The same as all my friends who have iphones with AT&T. The biggest thing though is that I frequently don't receive text messages that are sent to me. It's so ****ing irritating. I'm pretty sure it's the service because I've had friends who had t-mobile with the same complaints. Personally, I would say go with the iphone. My next phone will definitely be one.
Oh and my internet service slows down at 5gb I believe but I've never once used half of that and I'm on my phone the vast majority of the time.
