No physical transformation because there's something creepier about a guy putting on a creepy mask and becoming like an entirely different thing
Exactly my thoughts.

Me too.I voted for physical transformation!
This, and he falls asleep and when he wakes he forgets all about being the Goblin and looks completely normal. It brings more gravatas to his situation and parallels Dr. Jackle Mr. Hyde more.Honestly, I don't understand how he could have a costume, and still look like this. You can't have someone wear a mask and have that smile; a mask won't form to your face like that. I really don't see a problem with having him physically transform.
That's an idea i had for Spider-man 3 actually. Instead of Harry putting on that terrible costume, he would have taken too much of the goblin formula and actually become a "goblin"

We already have a villain that undergoes a physical transformation in this film. Give us something else for GG.
With the Lizard hulking out, I don't see it far-fetched heading in that direction if they mutated the GoblinOnce again, someone assumes that just because it's a physical transformation that automatically means "Hulk-Goblin".
That Goblin just looks silly to me. He looks like Smeagle.
That Venom though...looks creepy.
It would still be different if he uses gadgets and a glider. He also wouldn't be a 7-9ft creature, smashing or slashing stuff.
I think if they present it that way then it could work. That means we don't need to see Norman take the serum and turn evil and go bananas on his lab assistant. We don't need to see him hearing voices in his head. We don't need to see him putting on his mask. Yeah everyone pretty much knows but I don't want them to do the same formula over and over again. I want Norman this time to sort of be separate identities like it was in the comics for a while...I even think so in the cartoon...until his big, grand reveal at the end.
Although...as someone mentioned...I wonder what it would be like if it turned out to be Harry while we all thought it was Norman. I wonder if that would work...like SSM.
I would like GG to be developed over two movies. I would like to see Norman in ASM2 more so and then he becomes GG at the end and ASM3 is all about GG. I would like him to be the big finale baddie. I really don't want to see Doc Ock this soon...he was just so friggin amazing in SM2 that I don't want him redone this soon.
seriously i go with the mask, the last trilogy got flack for every villain being a tragic mentor to peter, this one doesn't need to have every villain physically change into a giant green brute
also if a small fx company can produce something like this

i dont see why sony can't use this as a base and build on it
That mask looks sick. This could definitely be used for the GG!
